It's my car's time of year again .. oil change! Parking: They have a small parking lot with limited parking spots. There were no spots when I arrived, so I just parked in front of the shop. Ambiance/Environment: The inside is small with a waiting area and a coffee station in the corner. The couch and chairs are comfortable and clean. There were consistent customers coming in n out for a weekday. Service: I called the shop before coming in to inquire about same day walk ups. Manny answered the phone, and he mentioned they were able to accommodate walk ups. When I arrived, he was also the same person that checked me in. He was nice and efficient. Majority of their workers speak Spanish and English. They offer complimentary shuttle services. Though, I couldn't take advantage of this service bc their driver was on lunch. My car needed a full synthetic oil change. If you have a coupon, make sure to present it at check-in. The coupon I had was for an oil change starting at $39.90. It cost $79 after taxes for my oil change; which is about average price nowadays. Since I couldn't use their complimentary shuttle services, I decided to wait there. It took about an hour for them to finish. They take cash or card as a method of payment. Thankfully there's no extra fee for using card. read more

Just got a text it is time for service but I want to say that in the past Matt recommended my brake fluid be replaced for my car is a 1999. I came in for an overdue oil change. I was having trouble with my schedule so I ended up speaking with Gerald and Matthew, who were both excellent communicators and eager to make it work. I have to say it was the first time I've been treated with such kindness and understanding at any sort of automotive repair shop. The place is clean and very accommodating. Even the couches and comfy chairs are spotless. I've been here 3 times so far and brought 2 different cars and my experience so far has been nothing short of fantastic! They provide all the typical amenities that you expect from a top tier repair shop. Quality and friendly service, a ride to where you need to go if you're nearby, a loaner car, 3 year / 36k mile warranty, they stand behind their work, affordable prices, clean waiting area, you name it they most likely got it. Some personal experiences that have really stood out for me. On one of my cars I asked about tires and wanted to get tires that would give me a quiet ride. I basically handed them an opportunity to sell me more expensive tires and Matt still steered me towards a less expensive tire but still comparable in performance, letting me know the price difference isn't worth the difference in performance. And so far, I've been really happy with that. They could have easily up-sold me a set of tires double the price, but didn't, helping me save money. In another occasion, I've brought another car to get the brakes done, they still weren't as I expected, they took the car back, replaced the brakes since they were under warranty and found the issue and everything is as good as I remembered them to be. Overall, this is that local repair shop that has really stands out, cannot recommend this place enough. read more

Manny and Sal were so amazing. I feel like my bmw was making loud noise when I drive it over 40 miles an hour. Sal test drove the car and said engine sound is normal. He checked under the car and hood and found nothing unusual. At the end, he said all is good. They didn't charge me for analysis. I came to this already knowing what's wrong with my car. Manny was nice enough to help me out. I spoke with Manny and I told him it's a possibility it's the water pump or a pulley. He told me they will call me to after they diagnose the problem. I've been reading the reviews they have on Yelp and most of the reviews written are about oill change, transmission fluid, etc. I was skeptical about taking it there instead of the dealership, but I took a chance and it paid off. Manny and the staff were able to diagnose the car. It ended up to be the water pump. They were able to replace it. With all said and done. Manny show me the old water pump and gave me the opportunity the check it out for myself. With all said and done. So it turns out that honest mechanics do exist! Well, at least one... Matthew at Expertec was very clear and up front with all the possibilities that could cause the issue my car was having, and made educated and reasonable suggestions on how to economically and efficiently remedy the problem. He took the time to really dig into his resources to make sure he was approaching my car's problem from the best angle. In the end, my car was repaired at a small fraction of the quote given to me by another mechanic, and it was done in half the time! To start off, this is a review specifically for those skeptical about going to non-dealer mechanics like me. I drive a 2020 Toyota Corolla that I recently bought and needed the CVT fluid drained and refilled. I was quoted $480 at my local dealership who tried to reason that CVTs are a newer type of transmission and so it had to be a more expensive service. I know you need an oil pump to refill the CVT fluid but that still didn't sound right to me. I checked Yelp and found Expertec who gave me a quote of less than half the price, only $230! They gave me a spot the very next day after I called and did great work. In total the service took 1.5 hours which isn't that bad honestly. The next day I drove over 100 miles to and from work and running errands and my car felt great. I had been putting this service off due to cost but thanks to these guys my mind is at ease. Also very friendly and professional staff around this place. I am definitely returning here for any service on my car that I can't do myself, highly recommend. read more
