Warning. Do not take your car here. My car didn't pass smog (engine light) so I came to them with the codes to diagnos. I was charged $950.00 for them to replace manifold gaskets and a rear sensor. I was then informed to drive my car 100 miles before returning to the smog center. The engine light was off for 2 days and came back on. I got my front brakes done there as an emergency last year, they were very fast and fair prices. I feel betrayed. We've been coming here for near 15 years as I always thought they were honest and fair and did good work. However things have changed for the worst. I brought my minivan in to have the shocks replaced on both axles. They told me it would cost $2300 (including alignment) because these were "special toyota parts". I didn't think much of it because I trusted them. But coworkers thought it was very high so I called around. Quotes came back ranging from $1100 - $1600, using original genuine toyota parts. I ended up going to another place and paid $1370 total. I'm glad I wised up in time to save $1,000. Please note the name has changed from Econolube to Urgent Auto Care but it's the same owner. When I talked the Manager of the shop he lied to me and said no one touched the windows or raido. Then his employee said that he did touched the raido. Not good business. (Hardin Honda quoted me $544 if I purchased one from them.) I went to Urgent Auto Care at 8:50am without an appointment, and by 9:15am Andy and Sean told me my new visor was all installed. These guys are great. I used to always go to the dealership and they made my wife's car super loud after a valve adjustment. They tried to fix it but just basically said that's the way it was, and then later claimed we needed an expensive engine mount repair to fix. We took it over to Econo Lube and Sean immediately know that the engine mount was not likely the cause of the noise. He diagnosed the actual issue (the valve adjustment needed to compensate for engine wear) and the car sounds brand new now. Amazing. We'll be taking our cars here for everything now. :) read more
