Was driving home from work and picked up a large bolt in my tire. Driving a Tesla I do not carry a spare. I had not started losing air yet, but I was due to travel that evening. I did not want to leave the bolt in the tire parked in the garage as this would likely lead to me having to have the vehicle towed, or if nothing else at least a hassle getting the tire repaired. The staff there said that they could probably help me anyway if I was close. I was just over a mile away. The staff was courteous they were able to quickly remove my tire, patch it and get me on my way again. Now a days it's hard to find a place that doesnt take advantage of you. I know generally when your in a better area, the services will charge more because the area is not ghetto. But i called Best Value on a sat, and were only charging $30 bucks a tire to swap with the tires i bought online, i was shocked. Most places i had called before were charging between 50-60 a tire. When i arrived, there front office was nice, they provided complimentary drinks and even a charging station for your devices. While i was there they did an alignment and the price was very fair for my tundra. In the end i was there for about 90 mins and that was with 2 other people ahead of me. I rarely leave Yelp reviews, but I feel this is warranted. The TPMS light on my car came on due to a screw in my rear driver's side tire and I went to Best Value Tire and Wheel because they are conveniently close to my office. The gentleman told me it would be repairable after showing him the same photo attached to the review and said it would take about 15 mins. I paid the $25 to get it done (as shown in the attached screenshot). It ended up taking about 30 mins (not the issue, as things can get in the way). The very next day, the TPMS light comes back on and I check my tires--only to find THE SAME SCREW IN THE SAME TIRE. As shown in the screenshot, I had to get rear drivers side tire patched at Sam's Club because it wasn't ever done in the first place. The tech said there were no existing patches in the tire. I'm not going to die over the $25 I paid, but the principle of this entire situation is so wrong. What did I even pay for? Why was my car there for twice as long as estimated? I don't get it.
