I came in expecting this shop to stand out by having common sizes ready to buy that day, but almost every helmet I wanted to try was not available in a medium, and the same thing happened with riding gear in common sizes. The inventory screen on the wall was a cool idea, but it felt more gimmicky than useful because it was not very intuitive and did not even bring up a keyboard when trying to search. I ended up needing an employee anyway. Once someone finally came over, he was helpful, answered questions, and helped me confirm sizing. The bigger problem was the store experience. Three employees were behind the counter when I walked in and no one greeted me. The motocross gear section was also messy, with random sizes and colors mixed together, and multiple items falling off hangers just from touching them. The dressing room was also weak: no mirror and not much privacy. Overall, decent visit, but not enough to bring me back. This place has potential, but service, organization, and better stock in common sizes would make a big difference.

RED FLAG 1k, i should have walked away. I'M A BIG DUMMY History: My family and I have been visiting Freedom Cycles for at least 16 years. Building a friendship. The first time I saw the owners son's bike, I knew I wanted it. Through these years I thought we had built trust. Well, Obviously, not with the son Devon. When you pay $20,000 for a bike, you expect it to function for many years. It failed in 10 miles. While bleeding the back brakes, the worst looking fluid ever came out. The shifting lever bracket broke at a grocery lot 1/2 mile from home. I had to suicide shift just to get home, I didn't have AAA towing as Devon had foreseen. I had to reweld the linkage and paint. At this point, I can go on and on about Devon and his Devious dealings running his parents business into clown world. And I wish his parents the best, (I really, really do, and miss them). But being a sleazy, crooked used bike dealer isn't the way they wanted their business to be run.

Didn't want to settle for a color I didn't want and would ultimately end up changing anyway which would cost me more money. Anyway, why the 1 star review? I walked in this morning and spoke to Dwayne, one of the salespeople (or manager?). Extremely dismissive, short, rude, and clearly very uninterested in engaging with a serious buyer. Seems like attitude is an issue here based on previous reviews. All good though! He told me to basically kick rocks and go back to Bert's so I did exactly that! Not even an hour later after speaking with Dwayne I purchased my Ninja 500 at a steal of a deal over at Bert's. Bro's KPIs and metrics must be SOLID this month to let a sale walk out at the last day of the month. This was my second time at Bert's and both experiences were awesome. Lots of toys to look at, awesome pricing, and more importantly, excellent and friendly service the moment you walk in. This would've been my go-to place if I ever needed service or parts, but I'd rather ride/drive elsewhere than put up with the bullshit here. Oh, and if you hate your job bro, try doing something else. Don't get mad that you have to do your job when customers walk in. You're literally in sales/retail.

Thank you! Original review: I'd been shopping for a new bike for a few months and just going through my options, dealing with all the dealers in SoCal, online, private party, etc. and recently visited OC Honda & Kawasaki and met with Dwayne. Dwayne is a very chill, calm and friendly (read as "relaxed") guy, and let me look around the showroom and ask him questions as needed. There was no weird stigma or "club" here, where you feel comfortable and are greeted as soon as you come in, and get to check out bikes as well as ask them to pull some out for you to sit on if you're curious about seating position, controls, etc. I left with no pressure, and checked out some other local competitors and then continued to research and figure out what I wanted over the course of another month. During this time, I called Dwayne and asked him questions and he was always helpful and friendly, walked me through his experiences as a seasoned rider on both street & dirt, and was never pushy -- I never felt rushed as I continued to check out all my options. Finally the time came to pick out a bike, and I called and Dwayne put me in touch with Philip, who was also just as kind and a very cool, patient, and helpful person -- one that you can tell really cared about the customer experience. Philip also got me a price out-the-door on a new bike by phone, and I was there later that day to check out the bike they'd priced out for me, currently held in their storage. These guys aren't on commission so you feel free to work with them on your timing, pricing, as well as delivering payment -- they took great care of me. Communication was top-notch from the team; even if Philip was out or off, Dwayne is able to man the texts coming in, and vice-versa, so I always felt confident in my decision and their service. The fact that they're just around the corner from me is the cherry on top. When I went to pick up my bike, I was treated with respect and kindness -- Dwayne took his time to walk me through all the new features (coming from an all-analog older bike), and set my rider modes up as well as guided me through quick-shift options and service. I was kept updated by Philip and the team here from day-one, and the shop is really nice with a ton of new bikes on the floor, some great sales, as well as a ton of helmets and gear - many gear options priced to go as new inventory comes in for the different seasons across all manufacturers. Had a great experience at Orange County Honda & Kawasaki; I got no-nonsense out-the-door pricing, easy and chill service, and a great attitude from the team, what more could you ask for? I'll be back for an Africa Twin when the time comes, thanks guys!

When i FINALLY did find a bike i actually wanted to buy from them and went in, Rob wasn't even there Devin ended up helping me out and took care of everything. Super chill, helpful, and figured out all the logistics of getting the bike to me. It was also just fun chatting with Devin, hearing about the racing he's done and all his future plans. He's very relatable and easy to talk to. Also, shout out to Brian for getting my bike to me. They really only hire the best here. He was busy but fit me into his schedule.
