2-3-2026 This is my first time at a Bass Pro Shop, and I was overwhelmed, needless to say. The taxidermy is beautiful, and I had no idea they would actually have live fish inside their building. It's a remarkable establishment. It felt like a football field inside. This is definitely THE place for outdoor enthusiasts and folks who fish, hunt, camp, and so on. They have BOGO 40% Costa sunglasses. I ended up getting a 3-piece utility box crate. Customer service was standard, but I was mostly taken away by the beauty of nature, and of course, I had to donate to the conservation fund. I'll have to do more research on what entails, but there is so much to dive through and explore here. read more

This establishment is located where the Walmart used to be in this plaza. A friend drove me here because they wanted to check the store out for an article of clothing that I usually wear and wanted my input. Internally it has a very high ceiling and a large selection of items to look at. They also had some taxidermied animals which were cute and an aquarium with some freshwater fish in it. The other members of my party were not impressed. Despite needing to only shop for one item we kept getting hounded by irrelevant sales pitches for items we did not need, including vacations. They did not have what we needed in stock so we left without buying anything. Not surprisingly this just resulted in the other members of my party asking to borrow my clothes. It would have been nice if it was in stock here. I might come back if I want a plushie. They had a North American animal I liked in the relatively large plushie section, but the other members of my party were not impressed with. read more

This is a rather new Bass Pro Shop with everything a father would want. The aquarium was stocked with black fish and the surrounding was of nature. Every employee was helpful and courteous with a fairly good background of the outdoors. Prices are about the same as sporting goods stores, but the surroundings much more pleasant. read more

I went in today just to look around not looking to buy anything specific they ended up buying too small items I get in line there are two people ahead of me with carts full of stuff which normally I wouldn't care but this was the only register of all the registers working they had one person at checkout so obviously I had no choice but to use this line unfortunately the customer in the front of the line was very talkative making the checkout process even longer again nothing I can do about that so I see a guy over in the customer sewer serious so I ask him if there's any way did they could please open up another line or if he could check me out because I only have two small items and I really need to get back to work this guy and by the way his name was CODY according to his name tag the first thing this guy does is give me the nastiest dirty look like I asked him something inappropriate or something I don't know and then his response was when I asked him about opening another line or could he help me was I have to help somebody else first so I guess I was out of luck at that point and I'm standing there he helps somebody else check out instead of myself and I told the guy I was asking can you check me out if you're going to check somebody else out I could have just waited in this line anyways this guy was extremely rude really ruined my Bass pro experience which I enjoy every time I come here you really need to give this guy a talking to you I don't know if something about my looks bother them or he was having a bad day or what but I really didn't appreciate you might want to put this guy through customer service training again read more

Sunday, August 24, 2025 You can't miss seeing Bass Pro Shops off the freeway. Parking aplenty, it's in a big shopping center. It's a gigantic store! We can here hunting for a XL navy hoodie. I think they were out of stock. We didn't see any navy, most popular color. The employees on the floor didn't seem to be proactive in helping us out but we managed without them. The checkout experience was better. Although, their card only line was a problem when they didn't have a cash drawer for a debit-cash back transaction. The employee was super nice though. We were told that customer service can order the size and color of the hoodie and have it shipped to store or home. Good ol experience here! read more

Bass Pro Shops is one of those great businesses where you can get just about anything you want focused on the outdoor lifestyle, from backpacks, to sleeping bags, to hiking boots, to guns, ammunition, fishing poles, fishing boats, and pretty much anything else outdoor orientated, they have it and you can purchase it here. There has been that great Bass Pro Shop located in Rancho Cucamonga forever. For those of us in the LA/OC area that always tended to be a bit of a drive to get to, however. Now, they have this new shop in Irvine, right off of the 5 or the 405. It's great! The new Bass Pro Sop is a single level store, compared to the two levels of the one located in Rancho Cucamonga. This comparison certainly does not mean that they have any less to offer. This location is stocked full of everything that the other location has and maybe even more? This new shop has a great aquarium as a water feature, similar to the one that they have in Rancho Cucamonga. It's one of those great things to just take a look at and watch the fish swimming around, taking a moment out of your shopping experience. Out in front, they have a gigantic parking lot. So, parking should never be an issue. Overall, if you need anything outdoor sport orientated, you can surely find what you need at this business. read more

I come here once a year for one thing only - santa photos with my puppy! We discovered this last year and it was my puppy's first Christmas and it was so so magical. The set up was cozy and beautiful, the staff was super dog friendly and kind, and the santa staff was just so sweet and awesome. They really took the time and effort to make sure we got a cute smiling photo. I was nervous about holding up the line but they took their time and made it such a fun experience. We went back this year obviously. It is now a yearly tradition to take santa pics. read more

We are talking about an insane amount of different items and virtually every out door product you could possibly imagine. The layout is nice, the options plentiful, and the store amazing. The decorations are perfectly done to represent the great outdoors with fish, sharks, mountains, hunted animal heads (). Value: I think the pricing is pretty fair. Overall: The store is really cool. I'd be back for sure. So with all this greatness, why only 4 stars you ask? They took way too long to call for more help. There was the typical customer return that stopped the entire line. With only one line open it grew to about 8 people. After about 8-9 mins of waiting they finally called others and the calvary came on. Customers should never have to wait this long. I'd recommend that returns be moved to the center of the store as completely stopping the line like this makes for a bad customer experience. I truly love Bass Pro Shops and it's to the point in which I will visit a local store whenever we are traveling throughout the US. Every store has the same storefront that helps you realize that you are at the right place. I love how there's some consistency when you go from store to store. When they closed Walmart and stated that Bass Pro Shops would open at this location, I was excited! I figured that we wouldn't be driving to their store in Rancho Cucamonga for a while. It took some time to complete this project and when it opened, a lot of outdoor enthusiasts were super hyped to check it out. The one thing that you'll notice is that it is much smaller than other locations. They had to work with the amount of space that was available and make the best of it. They do have all of the standard items that you always see at their stores: boats, clothes, hunting gear, and so on. However, the selections are much smaller than what most patrons are used to. I was taken aback by how small the clothing section was as I was looking for some winter gear! They do have a fish tank that is standard at every Bass Pro Shops store that I've visited. This however is much smaller than expected. It just doesn't feel the same. The employees have been pretty helpful and incredibly nice. They'll always point you in the right direction or look up your information to help you get your rewards points. They also work hard to maintain a store that is clean and welcoming. Overall, yes, Bass Pro Shops is a great store. It's nice to have one much closer to home. We like to come here from time to time to pick up snacks and dog supplies. Our dog really likes this place too, so it's nice to have another dog-friendly business in the area. read more

Today I visited Bass Pro Shops for the first time, and wow, it was quite an experience. When you first walk in, it's like you're transported into a whole new world. Who knew that the headquarters for all things Santa and Santa photos was Bass Pro Shops? To be honest, I had never set foot in a Bass Pro Shop before and the reason for my setting foot in one this time had nothing to do with fishing or camping! I was introduced to this place because they do great Santa photos! At first I was skeptical, but by the time I left, I was a believer. They had a great set up that was beautiful and dog friendly and that let us get some awesome pictures with Santa! (Plus, one of the younger customers told me my dog was "fire", and I enjoyed that.) I wasn't much of a camper when I went in, but I wound up buying a Yeti backpack because of this place and now I'm sold. Did I mention the staff was extra friendly and polite? Went in today 06/07/26 to purchase some items as well as to get my reel spooled waited over an hour and a half as i asked for help several times. Guy with a black shirt updated the customer on the spooling who got there after me and gave me no updated as he continued to walk away. I then asked for help again and was sent back to the same location were no help was found. Another guy came and was helping a customer who got there way after me, basically skipped over me and moved onto the next person. I then went to customer service and asked for help as i was getting no answers. My answer given by the lady was "come back tomorrow morning or after work", if i'm here already why should i have to come back. I had heard that this place was top notch. Maybe I was influenced by their advertising. I booked an Alaska salmon fishing trip. I don't know much about cold water salmon fishing. I've fished from cabo(both sides, Sea of Cortez and pacific) up through the channel Islands. I wish I had brought a search and rescue team to find floor help. The help I was able to find had minimal knowledge at best. The rain gear for females was minimal and hidden amongst the male rain gear. This was my third attempt in a week to purchase a firearm from this store. On my previous visits, I arrived too close to closing time, which I understand isn't ideal given the paperwork involved. So this time, I did everything right: I called ahead to confirm that arriving an hour before closing would be enough, and then showed up exactly as advised. Despite that, the experience was a disaster. The check-in kiosk was turned off, so I checked in by phone. Within 30 seconds, an employee told me there was only a "5% chance" I'd be helped tonight--despite being second in the queue and seeing at least five employees behind the counter. That statement alone speaks volumes about their priorities. I asked for a manager. Five minutes later, Travis (the manager) came out. After explaining this was my third trip and that I had called ahead, he assured me they would take care of me. I appreciated the promise--until it became clear it meant nothing. An hour later, the store was closing. I still hadn't been helped, and two customers who checked in after me were served first. My original check-in had been removed from the system and pushed to the back of the line. When I raised this issue, Travis doubled down, insisting they could still help me and claiming he had done nothing wrong. Instead of resolving the situation, he became defensive and combative--completely failing to de-escalate. Bottom line: This was an appalling experience. I went out of my way to follow their rules, called ahead, and arrived early, only to be ignored and treated poorly. If this is how they handle customers who are ready to spend money, it's no surprise retail stores like this are dying. This place is like the Disneyland of anything outdoors: fishing, camping, sailing, and so much more. The store is huge and so much to see. Upon entry, you are transported to the outdoors. There is a fireplace at entrance which invites you into their lodge aka store. There is some chairs to sit in front to just rest an enjoy the heat especially on a cold day. As soon as you walk in the gates, you can see a huge aquarium towards the back of the store. Such a relaxing feeling just stopping and taking time to look at all the fish. The sales floor has so much apparel for both men and women and for your little ones. I really enjoy the clothes they sell here and the prices are great unless you are getting brand names. Natural Reflections is a favorite of mine so browse around to find some cute sweaters or jacket for winter. There is a whole section on fishing and camping. You can find anything you need. Prices are great and the selections are always stocked up for the visitors. If you cannot find an item, the staff is available to assist and are quite friendly. If you go online, you can place your order and ship to store so you do not have to pay for shipping. I tend to use this service often but I would warn you, be cautious when using this feature during the holidays. Unfortunately, my order was lost and it had to be returned to me because the item was out of stock. Staff was great during the whole process so kudos to them. Overall, great store and a great exploring/shopping experience. If you love the outdoors, you can definitely find what you need even if that means a brand new boat! Happy sailing! read more

It's kinda a lack luster BPS . There is no restaurant which is kinda disappointing. As they originally said it would be opened shortly after the grand opening. It's been a while now and still no restaurant. The store is just average. I was hoping the store would be like the Las Vegas location or even the Rancho location. There is no shooting range also the aquarium is kinda of small and noting special. The workers also don't seem super knowledgeable about fishing . I think they just hired people that wanted a job . The fishing section should have people that are seasoned in the sport . The saltwater section is also tucked way in the back . I think it should have been more in the open and it just seems bland and ordinary. I would rather go to my local tackle shop that has avid fishermen that are more knowledgeable and involved in the sport read more

Bass Pro has a really good selection--pretty much everything you could need in one place. The process can be slow at times, but that's expected with a big box retailer. Customer service isn't the best, but it's acceptable for a store of this size. The one thing I really don't like is how hard they push the credit card. Rewards should be offered based on loyalty and how much you shop there, not tied to signing up for a credit card. Frequent customers should be able to buy into a rewards program or be offered one automatically. Overall, still a solid place to shop, but there's definitely room for improvement. read more

Both times I've visited, no employee approached us to offer help or check in--not once. On this most recent trip, I was shopping for some fishing products and wanted to get my reel spooled. I asked the associate in that section, and he immediately said, "No, I can't. I'm busy and already have three others to do." I told him it was totally fine, but then he asked if I needed to be rung up. When I said yes (if he could), he again snapped, "No, I can't, I'm busy." I completely understand being overwhelmed on a busy Saturday, but the attitude just wasn't necessary. It made me feel more like a burden than a customer. I'm leaving this review not to bash the store--because it's a great place--but because I genuinely hope this feedback reaches someone who can help make the experience better. A little friendliness and clear communication go a long way, especially in a place that so many families and outdoor lovers enjoy. Staff were so friendly which made it more enjoyable to visit. They had offered kids to do an activity with a scavenger hunt which was so fun! At the end you redeemed it for a prize. Kids got cotton candy as a surprise! They were definitely overjoyed with excitement! The store offered all kind of good products for a reasonable price. From sweaters, hats, fishing poles, archery equipment, snacks, camping gears, and much more were offered. We mainly go for the aquarium of fishes swimming in the tank. However, my recent visit left me shaking my head -- all thanks to a frustrating run-in with a low-level manager in the Firearms & Ammunition department. Let me set the scene: I was trying to use Bass Pro's price match guarantee, something I've done here before without a hitch. The policy is clearly explained on their website -- if the item meets the requirements, they match the price, no drama. Simple, right? Not this time. This particular manager acted like honoring the policy was coming straight out of his personal paycheck. Despite my items clearly qualifying, he flat-out refused to match the price. His reasoning? The price was "too low." That's not how a published policy works -- it's either eligible or it's not. Instead of handling it professionally, he doubled down and called his supervisor over to back him up. Here's the kicker -- the supervisor immediately confirmed that I was right. Not only was my price match valid, but as a Bass Pro Club member, I was also entitled to an extra 5% off. Rather than acknowledging the mistake or offering a simple apology, the manager just walked off mid-conversation, leaving me standing there like I was the problem. What should have been a quick and easy purchase turned into a 90-minute ordeal -- all over something that should've taken 5 minutes and a quick scan of store policy. To be clear -- I love Bass Pro Shops Irvine overall, and I'll still shop here because most of the team is fantastic. But management needs to make sure ALL employees, including lower-level managers, are properly trained on store policies -- and basic customer service.
