I have been to many gunsmith over the decades. This one's knowledge is by far the most important have delt with. I have had very minor work done to several, and heavy work to 2 different guns. One of them was turning a G19 into a G19C (ported barrel and slide), trigger work, undercuts and more. I have ran about 5k rounds through that one without a hiccup. Runs like a cheat code lol. Good pricing to. Huge selection of private party transfer guns on consignment to select from also. Bought a few of them over the last 2 years also. I had a really disappointing experience with this gunsmith. They originally told me it would take a couple of weeks, but it ended up taking a month and two weeks. I needed them to Cerakote the slide, cut a notch in my grip module for the safety fit, add a trigger, and switch the mag release from the left side to the right. The communication was awful--multiple times I was told different pick-up dates, and they kept pushing it back without any clear updates. On top of that, they lied about the status of my firearm. They told me it was basically done, just needed to be put back together. But when I came in, they were still working on cutting the grip--so it actually wasn't close to being done at all. The lack of transparency was really upsetting. However, I will say, the only reason I'm not giving this a one-star review is that the gun actually came out really well--the Cerakote was nice, and the cutting done to my grip was done very well. read more

Came here to swap my Glock 19 iron sights to Trijicon iron sights. They took 1 month to do this minuscule job, and did it poorly. The front sight came loose within the first 20 rounds at the range, and the rear sights were not centered. Took it back and the guy just screwed the front sight back on without even looking at it so it was crooked again. Took it to another shop to get the front and rear sights centered, and they did it perfectly within 5 minutes. Very disappointing experience. read more

I needed help with some firearms to not be named in this review and my buddy who is a frequent partaker in the firearms world told me about OC Guns and this shop directly next door where he got a red dot site put on. I tried looking up the shop and nothing. So I went on faith and just showed up with a couple of firearms and met some of the friendliest gun people I've ever met! Right away Ryan helped me and gave me multiple options. He was so friendly and knowledgeable and the douche factor was a zero. And the Reza the owner came out with his lost surfboards hat on with a deep tan that showed he surfed as much as me. In fact there was surfing on the screen behind them on the TV both times I went in. Guns and surfing? Ok if there was tacos and beer i might have found Nirvana. But i digress. Go here. Excellent work and communication. I had a 13.7 Upper that needed to get a muzzle device pinned and welded to be compliant. I walked over from OC Guns to check it out the new shop next door and met Reza. He said he could get the job done by end of day. I left it with him and within a few hours he texted me to let me know my upper was ready for pickup. When i got there, he explained to me what he did and how he did it. Not only was it completed, the pin and weld was very clean and sleek. I will be taking a 14.5 build for them to pin and weld soon. They also have Glock and other AR related products in the store.
