* Drinks/Food: I ordered a Matcha Einspanner and Ube Mochi Brownie. The matcha taste was really strong, which I liked. It was a good, solid drink and wasn't too sweet at all. I also loved the ube mochi brownie. It was so yummy and fun to eat. * Service: The staff were very nice. * Ambiance: This place gets pretty crowded, but there are plenty of seats and outlets, so it's still a good spot to hang out or study. However, their Wi-Fi sucks!!! I came here twice this past week, and both times the Wi-Fi was barely working.
The matcha flight was phenomenal! You get to choose four different flavors and I went with strawberry, ube, pandan, and banana. Each flavor was delicious and once mixed together, they blended beautifully with the matcha and creamy topping. I also tried their breakfast burrito and really enjoyed the sauce that came with it which added a great touch. The service was quick and I absolutely loved the ambiance! The decor is beautiful, with plenty of natural lighting that makes the space feel bright and inviting. Definitely a lovely spot to grab a bite and enjoy some matcha!
Friendly staff, quite busy on a Saturday afternoon. I got the pink coconut matcha and it was just okay at best. I was hoping it would taste more like Ayer's. I can barely taste the matcha in the matcha cloud. I'm going to have to try something else next time because the other drinks look more promising.
Guess who's back? Back again... and this time my matcha brought a friend. Came back to see if the matcha was still as good as the first time--and yeah, it absolutely was. We also grabbed the chicken pesto sando and oh my god. Both are seriously good. Highly recommend. The shop stays busy and the vibe is great. This is hands down my favorite matcha spot. Still haven't found anything that comes close to how they make theirs.
On my continuous journey to try different matcha places, my bf and I decided to try Vivot. I've sampled a few of their drinks at past Yelp events but it was my first time at their storefront. Parking can be limited on the street and there is a paid parking lot. Just be aware of parking signs in the area. There is a good amount of seating inside but availability can be limited during busy times. There are two screens people can order from or if you have cash, you can order at the register. In addition to their drinks, there are some various food options such as muffins, spam musubis, and a breakfast burrito. We ordered a double matcha, matcha einspanner, and a breakfast burrito w bacon to share. The drinks were decent but I've had a better matcha einspanner elsewhere. We had to wait a bit until our burrito was heated or made. It was surprisingly pretty good!
my friend and i checked out this cafe before heading to an event nearby - the interior was clean and had lots of picture frames hanged around the cafe. there are also lots of tables for seating and chatting. i visited the cafe before it became vivot and it still has the same vibes as the last cafe - we got the matcha einspanner with 50% sugar and the blueberry sparkling refresher. the matcha einspanner (4/5) was too sweet even at 50% sugar and it was a bit hard to taste the matcha. the blueberry sparkling refresher (3.8/5) was also very sweet and was indeed heavy on the blueberry flavor, but it was indeed refreshing to drink to cool us down. - we used the self-service kiosks to order and got our drinks fast. there is limited parking in front of the store and a parking lot in the back. i did hear good reviews about this cafe so i was a bit disappointed but i would like to give this a second chance overall, this was a nice cafe to try out in the fullerton area
You can tell this place really cares about every drink they make! Prices were super reasonable for such good quality drinks! This is the perfect study spot as well, good amount of seating with good food and drinks! I got the peach matcha with hojicha foam, perfect amount of sweet and not overpowering peach flavor in my matcha which I love so much!
Vivot definitely had its moment on Tiktok, and I've heard many mixed reviews from friends who have gone themselves. First of all, one thing that I appreciated a lot about Vivot was the price. I've gotten tinier matchas for much higher costs, so I like that the pricing is appropriate. I also really loved that I could ask for extra shots for no additional cost. The baristas were so kind and let me know that I could ask for more adjustments if need be. As for the drinks themselves, my friend got the matcha americano and I really liked the taste and consistency of the matcha. I got the mango matcha, and I had to add another shot to taste the matcha. I felt like in the fruit drink, the matcha was more bitter and coarse. I was informed that the fruit matchas may have a different matcha shot consistency to make up for the flavoring, which would explain why I felt like there were taste differences between the two drinks. Overall, I thought the mango matcha was fine and I would like to try a different drink to see if the matcha taste and consistency is different if I choose a non-fruit drink!
We got the matcha cloud flight (comes with 4) with ube, banana, strawberry and sticky rice. The ube and banana were super flavorful but the strawberry didn't have as strong of a flavor. The sticky rice one was just normal matcha with pieces of sticky rice in it which I don't think I'd get again. They had a ton of other flavors I want to come back to try! Also got the egg sandwich and ube mochi brownie, both of which were so good! Bread was buttery and the egg salad was so flavorful. Ube mochi was flavorful and I liked the texture. I expected a chocolate brownie with ube but it's more like a nian gao (Chinese rice cake) texture and no brownie/chocolate in it. Forgot to take a photo of it but it was really good!
Was walking around downtown Fullerton and decided to pop in after hearing so many incredible things about this place, especially from TikTok! I tried a matcha latte as a baseline drink so I could really taste the matcha, and it did not disappoint. It was incredibly packed, but honestly, well worth the wait. The matcha was high quality and had a great flavor, although it was a little less sweet than I personally prefer. Definitely want to come back and try a matcha flight next!
Located off Commonwealth Ave in Fullerton. Street parking and lot in the back not sure how that whole lot works since it's shared with all the businesses and there are signs all over and a parking machine as well so I was a bit confused with that parking situation it fills up quick. I parked and hurried to this place got my drink and left since I'm not familiar with this area. The place is not big a few seating. I got the strawberry matcha it was good. The staff were nice and helpful the gal that helped me was awesome. Overall a cool spot I will come back if I'm near or in the area their matcha was good.
Vivot Craft seems like an ideal place for a study session. The space is large and open, with plenty of seating scattered throughout, making it easy to find a comfortable spot to settle in. The interior design is minimalist, giving the café a clean and relaxed atmosphere. Ordering is convenient with two self-service kiosks, and the menu is surprisingly extensive. In addition to food options, they offer a wide variety of drinks, including matcha, coffee, teas, and refreshing beverages, so there is something for almost everyone. I ordered the Strawberry Matcha and the Matcha Einspanner. While the drink sizes were generous, the flavor of the Strawberry Matcha was a bit disappointing. The strawberry flavor was very minimal, and the matcha itself was difficult to taste. My friend felt similarly about the Matcha Einspanner. That said, I am still willing to give this place another try. It may have just been an off day, or perhaps a different drink would be a better fit next time. Vivot Craft has a great atmosphere and plenty of space for studying or hanging out, though the drinks did not fully meet my expectations on this visit.
This place is a very cute place in the middle of DTF and they have a lot of options from flavored matches to milk teas and food as well. I decided to get the horchata matcha b/c it sounded rlly good and it didn't disappoint at all. It is by far my favorite bc I haven't seen anywhere else serve that kind of matcha. Service is fast and you'll be in and out less than 5 minutes.

I came here after seeing their matcha flights all over Instagram and wanted to check it out for myself. The place was extremely busy -- the line wrapped around inside, and it was clear that social media hype had a lot to do with it. Service was okay overall, but they seemed a bit overwhelmed. To be fair, the staff were doing their best to keep up with the nonstop crowd, but they had already run out of some ingredients by the time I ordered, which was disappointing. I got the matcha fruit lattes flight, which looked nice but honestly tasted pretty standard. Nothing bad, but nothing that really stood out either. Definitely not worth the long wait or the hype it's been getting online. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back. If you happen to be nearby and curious, it's worth a try once -- just don't expect anything mind-blowing. read more

A cute cafe known for its matcha drinks. I came with a friend on a Saturday morning, and it was PACKED. Considering how busy it was, the cafe was small and pretty cramped. I made my order at the kiosk. The vibes are definitely casual and welcoming, with many people chatting and others studying at the tables. (It may be hard to find seating.) Parking can be a tad difficult, but it's not too bad if you circle the nearby lot and make the short walk here. DRINK: I'd like to preface that I am not the biggest fan of matcha, so I guess my review would only be meaningful to someone of the same tastes accompanying their matcha-loving friend(s). Blueberry Matcha Latte (4/5) - I got it at 75% sweetness and with the recommended whole milk, which I thought worked well. Matcha flavor is definitely there, and I surprisingly enjoyed it. The blueberry flavor was lovely and was my favorite part of the drink, both taste-wise and visually. SERVICE: Service was fast despite how overwhelmingly busy this place got. The line can seem intimidating, but it moves pretty quickly since most people choose to order using the kiosk. TLDR// Vivot is a solid, popular matcha spot in Fullerton, and that opinion is coming from someone who isn't a big matcha enthusiast, so take that how you will. I have been here 3 times. First time was good, I am a fan of their double matcha and customer service. Second time I came to try the matcha flights, they were horrible. Idk if they didn't add any sweetener but it was undrinkable, and all the flavors tasted the same, I couldnt figure out which drink was which. I also ordered a spam masubi and my friend got a breakfast burrito. When we ordered they were out of sausage for the burrito, so she got bacon. After ordering and paying, they tell me that they are out of spam masubi and refund me. Then minutes later, they tell me they don't have bacon for the breakfast burrito either, we had to get another refund. Today I came for their $3 drinks. They did not have the OG matcha listed, like stated in their instagram post, I got the fugi matcha, it was not good. I again ordered a spam masubi. Because it took about 30 minutes to order and get my food and drink, I was in a rush to leave to work, after getting in my car and driving away, I noticed they did not give me a spam masubi, they gave me what I assume was a ube brownie, i'm not sure if it is supposed to be served like this, but it was raw, and tasted like dough. Good study spot that sells good matcha! This place has recently been a go to for getting work done. They have some seating with outlets which are only on the side so you may have to get lucky to get one. They also have a variety of seating throughout. You can order online through a QR code or order at their self order kiosks. They have different kinds of matcha like guava and pandan. I got the blueberry matcha and it's sooo good! You can also make any adjustments to your preference. The service is pretty quick too if you just wanna order and leave. The inside is also decorated really nicely so it would be great if you wanna take photos too. There is also a bathroom in the back. read more
I've seen soooo many tiktoks and videos about Vivot and finally decided to give it a chance because I was in the area. I ordered a Einspanner latte for my mom and I and unfortunately was very let down :(. It was way too milky and had no matcha flavor at all! I kept mixing it and trying to make it better but unfortunately it was no good. My cousin got a Tropical Fruit refresher drink and it was actually really good. If i were ever to return I unfortunately would not get a matcha but I would probably order what she got. It was a Sparkling Tropical Fruit refresher drink and had bits of fruit in it that was soooo refreshing! The inside is quite spacious which several seating. We ordered a Guava Matcha and Blueberry Matcha. Both were yummy! There was a strong blueberry flavor in the matcha and the guava was a bit more subtle. We ordered at the kiosk and the drinks came out within 5-10 minutes on a Saturday night. There were plenty of small tables and lively music in the background. Came around 11 am on a Sunday and there was a line but it was worth the wait! I ordered the blueberry matcha 75% sweet. I loved how smooth it was and it had just enough blueberry flavor. I do wish I chose 50% so I could taste more of the matcha. Luckily my boyfriend got the matcha maniac and I got all the matcha flavor I was craving from his. Surprisingly it isn't as bitter as you think it might be. It was really creamy and the matcha tasted strong without being overwhelming. We both loved it and he definitely got his caffeine fix! It would be great if they had a larger location with more tables. It is a little cramped and hard to find seating. However we would definitely come back. I want to try the other matcha +fruit combos like mango and banana! read more

Wow, busy cafe! Very popular indeed. The Yelp reviews attracted me to this spot. I have been here previously for a yelp event. I wanted to come back to buy some drinks. It seems like most of their drinks have matcha in them. I wanted to try one of the matcha drinks. White chocolate raspberry matcha 7/10 I ordered this with coconut milk and the lavender cold brew cream foam. I really liked the raspberry flavor. That was nice. It was very sweet and delightful. I wanted more whote choocolate flvaor thoguh. I did notcie there were white chocolate chips in the bottom of my drink. It just didn't enhance the drink. Maybe the white chocolate chips were supposed to melt into the drink? Possibly, but they didn't. I got a strong matcha flavor, that I wasn't a fan of. The lavendar cold brew foam was nice. I liked that. It added a slight sweetness to it. Overall, I wouldn't order this again. Sure, it was aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The taste was just off for me. I also wanted this with honey boba and they later told me that they ran out fo honey boba. Boo, that sucks. No honey boba. My husband ordered a house black milk tea and they later told us that they ran out of the house black. Bummer. Strike two for us lol No honesy boba and no house black tea. So, my husband got a Thai Tea instead. The thai tea was alright. It just wasn't what he wanted. Overall, they were out of the things we wanted. Bummer. I think that really impacted our experience here. We will try it again and hopefully they have the things that we need. I took away the one start due to being out of things we wanted. read more
This was my second time coming here with a friend. I ordered the Mango Matcha again, but adjusted it with oat milk and less sweetness. The first time I tried it, I went with the default (regular milk and sweetness) and found it a little too heavy. Even with less sweetness, the mango flavor still comes through pretty strong, but it leans on the sweet side. Next time, I think I'll go half-sweet for a better balance. One tip: make sure to stir it really well so you don't end up drinking straight mango syrup at the bottom. I also had a sip of my friend's Matcha Einspänner, and it was really good. Smooth, creamy, and not too sweet even without adjustments. There was a long line when we got there, but it moved quickly thanks to their digital kiosk ordering system. Parking has been easy for me both visits. Plenty of street spots nearby (though I can imagine it might depend on the time of day). Seating can fill up fast, so it might be easier to grab your drink and walk around downtown Fullerton if it's crowded. Overall, I really like the vibe here. It's a cute spot with solid drinks, and I can see why it gets busy. Looking forward to coming back and trying the Mango Matcha at half-sweet next time! read more

I found out that you can seat anywhere and if you need to charge your laptop, you can borrow and power bank (a big one) , just give them your ID and get it back when you return the battery bank. Honestly I've been here a handful of times and each time I come, the drinks are consistently delicious. Their sweetness levels adjusted are so accurate and their drinks are fresh and of real great quality. The service is usually okay? I always use the self help kiosk so I don't interact much. Music playing is usually vibes but keep it kind it is ALWAYS packed- business is boomin. Ambience is minimal and clean looking. So far I've had the banana matcha, the raspberry matcha and the ube matcha and all of them were gooood ceremonial grade matcha with very fresh fruits and flavors. I always opt for half sweet and my drinks are consistently delicious. My sister tried the hojicha latte the other day with boba and that was fire too. I think I'm becoming a regular read more

I don't usually get blown away by matcha spots. Honestly, it's something I can make at home, so when I order one out, I keep my expectations low. As long as I can get it unsweetened with almond milk, I'm usually satisfied enough. But this place? Amazing!!! I ordered the OG matcha latte, zero sugar, with the lavender cloud. Normally, the "cloud" isn't something I'd go for, but after seeing so many rave reviews, I had to try it. And holy moly! The lavender cloud added the perfect touch of sweetness, was super creamy, and totally elevated the drink. Now I'm already planning my next visit because I need to try their matcha flights. Couldn't do it this time since we had a movie to catch, but it's at the top of my list for next time. 3.5 Stars! It's a decent spot to hang out at. We ordered the Matcha Flight, Tamago Sandwhich, Ube Mochi Brownie. When you get the flight, you're limited to just Matcha with flavored foam (cloud). We chose Ube, Strawberry, Banana, and Sticky Rice. Our favorite was the Banana then Ube, while the strawberry and Sticky Rice didn't really taste like much. The brownie was really good though and it came warm. Sandwich was also pretty good and had a nice ratio of tamago. Service was just okay, the staff didn't greet us or help us even though we stood at the counter for a few minutes because they have self order screens. We had to flag them down to take our orders since the self order screens didn't have the matcha flight option. read more

There was a line when I arrived but they have a self ordering station and an extra cashier when needed. Waited about 15minutes as everyone was getting orders I sat there, girl staring at me and people getting order after order, yet didn't ask me if everything was ok. I had to walk up and ask, she said the "ticket" didn't print after 20min while everyone else got their orders within 2-3min. I waited so long. Customer service is not good, coffee okay. Inside is very spacious and very quick service! Came with friends and ended up doing both matcha flights. Amazing concept so that you can try different variations and flavors. Matcha Fruit Flight- Mango, lychee, blueberry, and white peach. ~My favorite was the white peach! Very good flavor and complemented the matcha well. The lychee was also very good! However the mango and blueberry were a big pass for me. They tasted extremely floral and had strange aftertaste. Matcha Cloud Flight- strawberry, banana, mango sticky rice, and ube ~This flight was incredible! All the flavors were great. They were well balanced with the matcha flavoring and the foams were delicious . I would probably skip the mango sticky rice just because I'm not much of a coconut fan and it over powered the drink. Overall this concept was a great idea! I will say the matcha is more on the floral side which isn't my favorite as the aftertaste becomes overpowering on the drinks but great flavors and fun concept! read more

Ordered on their tablet and drinks came out quickly despite how busy they were. Lots of people studying and hanging out so seating was packed on a Monday afternoon. Staff was very nice. Roasted Hojicha Latte: pretty good but Moongoat is a tad stronger. Definitely stir as the flavors sank to the bottom. Matcha Maniac: I've had stronger matcha at actual matcha shops (level 3 matcha at Mecca Matcha Artesia turned my blood green) so it's funny this one came with a caffeine warning. If you enjoy matcha, I recommend it as it is a little stronger than most white places. Matcha Latte with White Peach: very sweet and tasty even at 50% sugar. Himayalan Oolong Milk Tea: solid drink that I'd recommend for Oolong fans. You can definitely tell it's not your regular old Oolong tea. Next to a parking lot so it's a great place to try their flights. read more
Cute boba cafe serving a variety of desserts and small bites as well. I opted for the Himalayan oolong and my daughter go the lychee matcha with boba. The boba was perfectly cooked, chewy and sweet. The drink itself was a bit too sweet for my taste (I usually get full sugar at most places and it was very sweet here). Next time I'd go with 75% or even 50%. The pandan and ube crinkle cookies sounded tempting, but I was already over sugared out with the drinks. read more
I had the original matcha with tiramisu cold foam and it was delicious. It ran about $9, a bit higher than most places, but the matcha is clearly high quality totally worth it. The cafe has a cute setup and was really busy when I went, with lots of people studying, reading, or chatting with friends, which gave it a great vibe. Came here for the matcha flight and it did not disappoint! They have a good quality matcha (as you can tell) and offer such delicious flavor combos. The matcha flight is a bit on the pricier side and noticed that there's a lot of ice in the drinks especially if sharing amongst people (which we did). I also wish they were labeled in some way because half way through we forgot what we ordered and couldn't pin point the taste on some of them haha. Definitely worth checking out as there's a great ambiance, ample seating, and a chill spot to hang out with some great drinks! read more

We visited Vivot Craft Cafe on a Saturday, and it was definitely loud and very busy. My friend said the noise level was similar to a club. We ordered two matcha flights: one regular and the cloud flight. I asked the person taking our order to select their most popular flavors, so I don't recall the exact combinations. The cloud flight was unpleasant. It had an overwhelmingly milky taste, and the matcha itself was grainy and lacked the smoothness we were hoping for. The regular flight was slightly better but still suffered from the same grainy texture, which made the overall experience underwhelming. One of the drinks, I think their blueberry matcha was decent, but nothing that would bring us back. We drunk less than half of both flights and discarded it. While we understand that weekends can be hectic, the quality of the drinks did not meet our expectations. The presentation was beautiful but not the taste. In the end, we won't be returning. read more
Half a year ago, contacted Brandon to get a quote for doing boba catering for my wedding reception. Yes they do events/catering for those interested. He was responsive and I was able to just go pickup of the jars and drinks the day of. It was a self served situation so I didn't need to request a staff on site so that made it easier for me to do pickup and return of the containers.
