This is THE place to go for matcha. They have a matcha flight so you can try different flavors! They def have a fun menu, including non-caffeinated options. They also have milk substitutions at no cost, except something called Japanese soy milk $0.50. They also offer coffee. There are a lot of tables inside. Even on a Saturday night, many of them were occupied by people with laptops. It's great they close late (11PM). Parking is on the street, can find 2 hour spots for free WiFi is free Bathroom available No outside seating Order by kiosk with credit card/apple pay only
Super cozy vibes here. It's giving cafe/let's chill and study. I'm here from Fresno and is visiting family, my cousin-law recommend trying this place. Located facing street, you can find some parking in the back parking lot. The order: I got a few items and honestly honestly, pretty darn good. They whisk the matcha here and it looks like matcha is their highlight items. Very popular. You can order at the self ordering kiosk , pick your matcha level , sweetness etc. It took about 15 mins for all my drinks to come out. I like that they tape off the opening of the drink if you take it to-go to limit spillage. No complaints here, great tasting drink and will come back when opportunity arises.
Avoid getting the matcha flight. Tastes nothing like their regular drink and seems like the ratio is off for the flight. Each one of them were milk heavy and wasn't cold enough. The cream was ok but the milk was too much. Ordered via kiosk and got drinks pretty quick. The matcha pandan was surprisingly balanced. Usually the panda flavor is too strong. The blueberry lavender matcha had a sweet lavender flavor with bits of blueberry. Busy matcha shop with decent amount of seating. Parking on streets for free or parking lot nearby with $5 flat rate.
Upbeat vibes, service was quick and direct. Busy place, quite a few people studying around. Cute decorations around the store, ample seating. We got the matcha and Hojicha einspanner. To me, the matcha wasn't as intense as I'd hoped it would be, perhaps a little diluted? It felt somewhat creamy but didn't feel rich in flavor. Overall, it is a decent matcha drink and in the future I'd come back to try other drinks. My friend seemed to enjoy her Hojicha einspanner however!
I recently came back here with some friends and loved it all over again! The matcha was sooo good. We got two of the matcha flights, the Sweet Top flight and the Fruit flight and honestly, such a great deal. You basically get to try almost all of their matcha drinks, and it's crazy because they still have even more options. My favorites were definitely the strawberry matcha and the vanilla soft top matcha both were so good. The space is pretty big with lots of seating, but it does fill up quickly, so it can be a little hard to find a spot sometimes. That said, there are plenty of seating areas with chargers, which is a huge plus if you want to come here and get some work done. I also love that they close pretty late, so you have plenty of time to grab a drink, some food, and just hang out. The staff are super friendly too, and they don't rush you at all, which makes it such a nice place to relax and enjoy your time.
Self order kiosk at the front. We went on a Saturday afternoon around 1030am and thankfully no line. There's honestly no cons I can think of for Vivot. The high reviews are accurate because their matcha is really delicious, smooth AND aesthetic. I got the strawberry matcha latte & hub got the blueberry matcha. No complaints. They use high-quality matcha that doesn't taste powdery and the fruit purées are balanced well so it's not overwhelming. The strawberry matcha loaf was also good! Not too sweet which is always a great compliment for a baked item. What surprised me more is how frickin amazing their tamago (egg) sando is!! Pretty filling portions. Highly recommend it over the pesto chicken sando.
It took me so long to try this and as a matcha lover I regret it! The menu is HUGE which I love there's so many flavors you can't really find somewhere else. We came late afternoon on a Saturday and it wasn't too packed, we got seating and waited maybe 5 minutes for our drinks. My favorite was the Pandan milk matcha, it had a great balance of flavors without being overly sweet. Their plain matcha less sweet was good for someone who doesn't love sweet stuff. The eispanner with horchata cloud was good too once you mix it all in which I definitely recommend!
As the ultimate, self-claimed, matcha enthusiast, this was a huge disappointment. I got the einspanner & tamago sando. Matcha was good quality but felt really watered/ creamed down. I like my matcha bitter and grassy (like real matcha) and felt the einspanner had too much cream. Would be interested in trying the double or just the latte. Tamago sando was yummy but WAY too much bread and not enough egg. The bread was overwhelming. Went on a 8am weekday and I was the only one there. Street parking available right outside but very limited!
Came here this morning for matcha and a croissant sandwich. I got the ube matcha at 125% sweet. It was amazing. My friend got the regular matcha and ham&Swiss croissant sandwich and loved them too. The inside and outside are very cute! It's also right in the heart of downtown fullerton so it's such a cute area. Very clean, lots of seating, and just great vibes. The girl making the drinks was so sweet and she made our drinks delicious. Overall, 10/10 on drinks, service, and vibes. I'll definitely be back for more, next time I'll try the matcha flight!
This place was ~alive~ even at 9pm with a line and people studying...I was much intrigued. Such a nice and airy space with plants around -- even ones they are selling. Looots of seating and I can see that this is a great study spot for college students, which I wished I had during undergrad. You order at the single kiosk. Good amount of options from regular tea, boba tea, matcha, and hojicha. They had your einspanner option with that sweet whipped milk foam top and fruit puree at the bottom (mango, strawberry, and raspberry). A hard choice had to be made, but I decided on the hojicha einspanner and my sister opted for the mango matcha. I neeeed that hojicha powder. Great flavor of that nutty "chocolate" profile. Not too rich though with the einspanner balancing out, which was more on the liquidy creamy side than thick. What did throw me off was the cinnamon. The mango matcha was just okay. Couldn't really taste the flavor of the matcha as much, but it had more of a bitterness / sour note... The mango was also just kind of ~there~ Seems like a solid spot. I wouldn't be mad if i studied here and had to drop a bit of a bag to get drinks here due to the lovely ambiance with ample seating!
I've been to Vivot Craft Café in Fullerton multiple times now, and it's officially one of my go-to spots when I'm craving matcha and a cozy late-night hang. First of all, I love that they're open late. It's honestly hard to find cute café spots in OC that don't close super early, so Vivot automatically wins points for being the perfect late-night yap + dessert spot. Their matcha is consistently good -- creamy, earthy, and not overly sweet (which I appreciate). You can adjust the sweetness level, so whether you prefer a stronger, more traditional matcha flavor or something lighter and sweeter, it works either way. It doesn't taste artificial or watered down -- just smooth and well-balanced. And if you go, you have to get the sandwich. It's easily one of my favorite items on the menu. The bread is perfectly toasted with that slight crisp on the outside, and the fillings are generous and flavorful. It's satisfying without feeling too heavy, and pairs so well with one of their drinks. The space itself is cute and comfortable -- great for studying, catching up with friends, or just winding down at night. Every time I've gone, everything has been consistent, which is why I keep coming back. If you're in Fullerton and love matcha (or just need a late-night café option), Vivot is definitely worth checking out.
Vivot was amazing. Stopped by on Sunday afternoon and it was so easy to place your order on their tablet. I opted for a dirty matcha with the banana cold foam. The banana cold foam was light and not too sweet. I got my drink 25% sweet, and it was perfect for someone who doesn't like too much sweetness. The employee working was really nice and very quick in preparing our orders.
I've seen soooo many tiktoks and videos about Vivot and finally decided to give it a chance because I was in the area. I ordered a Einspanner latte for my mom and I and unfortunately was very let down :(. It was way too milky and had no matcha flavor at all! I kept mixing it and trying to make it better but unfortunately it was no good. My cousin got a Tropical Fruit refresher drink and it was actually really good. If i were ever to return I unfortunately would not get a matcha but I would probably order what she got. It was a Sparkling Tropical Fruit refresher drink and had bits of fruit in it that was soooo refreshing! The inside is quite spacious which several seating. It's very chill and the workers were nice but unfortunately I would not return.
Half a year ago, contacted Brandon to get a quote for doing boba catering for my wedding reception. Yes they do events/catering for those interested. He was responsive and I was able to just go pickup of the jars and drinks the day of. It was a self served situation so I didn't need to request a staff on site so that made it easier for me to do pickup and return of the containers. Tried Vivot for the first time and it did not disappoint! We got 3 matcha flights so we could try all the fruit flavors + the four cloud flavors (sea salt, ube, pandan, and pistachio). Honestly, every single one was good. The fruit matchas were so yum. they actually tasted like real fruit and not that fake syrupy stuff. The fruit kind of acted as the sweetener, which I loved. Banana matcha was my personal favorite. It had mushed up banana at the bottom and it somehow brought out the strong matcha taste. Service was really fast even though the place was busy. Lots of people studying or just chilling with their drinks, so it has a nice calm vibe too. I loved the aesthetic! Definitely coming back to try more flavors (and get another banana matcha because I'm obsessed lol) read more
Came here wanting to try the matcha flights, but my friends weren't up for it after dinner, so I got the Mango Matcha with pistachio cream (extra charge) on top with 50% sugar instead. The pistachio cream didn't add much flavor to the overall drink, so I might skip the add-on next time but I did like the mango matcha drink itself. Another thing I liked was that prior to paying at the register, it'll prompt you to select if you want your matcha and milk mixed or not. It's nice to have the option in case you want to snap a photo of the different layers in the drink. They have plenty of seating inside. Loved this rebranded coffee spot in Downtown Fullerton(DTF)! We got their OG Matcha (rich and classic) and the lighter Pink Coconut Matcha (refreshing and slightly sweet)--both were great. I've heard good things about the matcha here so I was looking forward to trying it out. The interior is clean and minimalistic with lots of plants throughout the store. There's lots of tables so it'd be a nice place to study at, but it's pretty loud in there. Would recommend bringing noise cancelling headphones if you want to do work here. Seems like it's always busy in here. I do like that they handwhisk their drinks in front of you but this does slow down service a bit. What we ordered: Strawberry matcha: strawberry flavor is stronger and overpowers the matcha. The drink doesn't taste super artificial. It's tasty but nothing special Matcha latte with ube cream: ube is sweet and creamy, but unfortunately the drink was watered down so I couldn't really taste the matcha Matcha latte with original cream: this drink was also watered down so I couldn't taste much of the matcha. Cream was okay I was really hoping I'd like it but maybe we just got unlucky to get watered down drinks :( The matcha flight seems like a unique experience so I'd consider getting that if I were to come back. read more

The cafe has been on my must-visit list, and I was finally able to stop by! First impressions of the cafe were that it was pretty busy it was a weekend evening when I stopped by, but they have ample seating. They have lots of options for matcha, but I kept it simple and ordered the iced matcha latte and it was delicious, and my order came out very quickly. A perfect place to study, enjoy good-quality matcha, with the bonus of being open late. Can't wait to visit soon! read more
Food: if you're all about matcha, this is the place you need to try. They offer variety of flavors and even flights of matcha to try! Fulfill all cravings you have for matcha! It was my first time here so I ordered the original matcha latte/ whole milk/ no sugar, and it's really thick in taste! There's a huge parking lot next to the building but it gets pretty crowded on the weekends. I've visited Vivot Craft Cafe twice, once during weekdays and once during weekends. It is definitely much busier on the weekends so be prepared if you plan to study/work here. Personally, I wouldn't recommend their Matcha Flight because every single one of them are overly sweet. I did not see any options to adjust the sweetness when ordering at the kiosk so I'm not sure if there's an option to adjust the sweetness if you were to order in person. As for the environment, it gets a little noisy but it could be the vibe or atmosphere they are going after. Outlets are available at some tables near the wall and the internet speed is decent for regular web browsing and video streaming. Overall, it's a decent cafe if you don't mind the noise level and "pretty sweet" matcha. read more

One of the best matcha place! I tried the "Matcha einspanner" and it was absolutely amazing. You can order from the screen and see all the menu which is so convenient. You can also choose the sweetness level based on your preference, I choose the "not too sweet" option which was %25. There was no line when I got there the place was not crowded, I also see some people working there from their laptop, they have plenty of seatings and the cafe itself was really cute. Nice place to hang out! Please just go try their drinks, I cant wait to try more! :) read more
The matcha and hojicha was so yummy!! They are definitely dessert drinks more than daily caffeine drinks though because they are sooo sweet and creamy. We got the hojicha latte, lychee matcha latte, ube matcha, and matcha einspanner. The einspanner was definitely way too sweet at 100% but the hojicha at 50-75% was perfect. The flavor was super pronounced and strong though and the color was beautiful. There was a lot of study space so this is the perfect study spot but I think it gets pretty crowded. The cafe is a bit spacious and definitely is super aesthetic when entering in. Luckily I came in at a good time and before the line had started to form. They do have food here but they're really known more for their drinks! I got the matcha einspanner and adjusted the sweetness of the matcha and gotten it with oat milk. The cream top looked and tasted amazing! The matcha einspanner has a strong earthy flavor. I would recommend this drink if you love a good matcha. TIP: This cafe has outlets for you in case you're studying and/or needing to charge some devices. In addition, there is a restroom for Customer Use! There's a good amount of parking spaces but some have time limits ranging to 2 hours of free parking. read more
I had been wanting to check this place out since they opened. I finally had the chance this past weekend. I came with one other person on a Sunday and it was BUSY. The line area was a little confusing and they kept having to tell people where the line started. They have the kiosk you can order from or you can go to their register to order. But the placement of the kiosk right by the start of the line confused a few people. I like that they have organic matcha and lots of flavors. I got their original matcha with pandan cloud. It turned out to be much better than I thought and one drink was quite large. The person I came with got their regular matcha with regular cloud and they also enjoyed it. I want to come back and try their white peach matcha and their other flavors. Many people order the flight which includes 4 matcha drinks which you can choose different flavors. We did pay $18.50 for two matchas which I did find to be a little high. However, their drinks were pretty large. Besides matcha, Vivot also has yogurt drinks, coffees, milk teas, and regular teas, They also had bites such as egg sandos, sadwichs, and croffles. Theres tables and chairs but it gets super busy so you may have an issue grabbing a spot. We were able to grab a table and chairs but some people couldn't find a spot. It's also super noisy so working here wouldn't be ideal unless you don't mine sound. Our drinks were made fairly quick. it is downtown so parking can be a little crazy. Vivot Craft cafe is tucked in nicely in downtown Fullerton. Went for some drinks with the fam after dinner to give in a try. The first thing we noticed was the interior is still under renovation so we had to order from the backside with an iPad. We really liked that it had a boba tea flight option that comes with 4 flutes with different flavors. How unique and it was our first time seeing that in any tea place! We knew we had to order that. The order took about 20 minutes which was longer than usual. Luckily we didn't have more plans that night. We ordered the matcha strawberry, matcha mango, and matcha taro, and matcha lychee flight. It was absolutely delicious! Our favorite is the matcha strawberry, very refreshing and just the right about of sweetness! However, after having all four matchas in a row, it kinda all tasted similar in a while. Maybe we should give the non matcha flights a try next time around! read more

The staff are so nice ! There's two lines to order , the cash only (discount when using cash) and the self kiosk for cards. They make it Infront of you too if you want to watch. There's a lot of seating indoor it was pretty busy when we came in but moved quickly. We got the matcha and houjicha both with coconut foam (vegan) super good!! You can adjust the sweetness level too. The houjicha was my favorite. The strawberry yuzu was so refreshing and the matcha was very smooth. I highly recommend the houjicha tho. My friends and I tried the matcha flight here and we have to say it's pretty strong and powdery matcha. Personally I like the matcha to be smoother and blended better. A little bit on a pricy side for 4 small matcha, but overall it's ok to try. I love the banana and strawberry eispainer the most. Been wanting to try this spot after hearing about the matcha flight. Ordered the cream cloud matcha flight to split with a friend. We tried ube, OG (salted vanilla cream), jasmine, and matchamisu. Between my friend and I, it was a good amount to share. Ube was my personal favorite because it had the right amount of sweetness. The other flavors started out bitter. However, once the cream/foam was mixed and had time to settle, they were more delectable ! OG tastes like sweet matcha, jasmine you can taste the strong jasmine flavor, and matchamisu tastes like sweet cheese. Ambiance is relaxed. Seems like people come here to catch up over drinks or get work done. We arrived about an hour after they opened. As the morning went on, the cafe got busy / crowded and there was a line. There's a touch screen kiosk where you order from, so they accept credit/debit and mobile pay. It is located downtown around other businesses so depending on when you arrive, parking can be difficult. Parking nearby (parking lot) is mostly paid parking (pay by plate) but if you're lucky, certain street parking (1-3 hour) is free -- just check the signs / area. read more

Cute cafe with ample seating to hang out. You order on a kiosk and take a seat while your drinks/food is being made. The drinks were pretty delish (plus aesthetically pleasing) and the sandwich I ordered was good but kind of small. The service was really slow though. Less than a handful of workers and tables were not being timely cleared. I can totally see this as a hangout spot to do work or meet with friends. read more

Solid spot for ceremonial matcha lattes with great service and easy parking. Couldn't decide which one to get so went with the matcha flight consisting of OG, Ube, Pandan, and Matchamisu. The OG tastes like a standard matcha latte, Ube was definitely the most flavorful, Pandan had a nice coconut flavor to it, and Matchamisu is like an elevated OG with a buttery finish to it. The flight service did take a while to come out but the staff was nice enough to comp some mochi donuts! The matcha and cinnamon ones were great and not too sweet but a little thick in terms of dough. Overall great matcha spot and will be back to try their other drinks as well! read more

Ceremonial matcha is top notch The drink options are superb Every drink is amazing but my faves are the Einspanner and the Mango Matcha Every barista checks in to make sure the drink is to your liking...I can't express enough how important customer service is and ensuring people are satisfied. Good matcha in a lively cafe. I had the original (OG) matcha with oat milk 50% sweet and it was really delicious. They hand whisk each order and half sweet was perfect, no bitterness or chalky-ness at all. Next time I'd give their "just" matcha a try to really test the quality! Drinks: 5 Service: 5 Ambiance: 4 We were in the area and were looking for a cafe and found this place (thanks Yelp!) The matcha flight caught my eye so we headed over. The cafe is located in the Soco Fullerton area, which is a pretty neat and walkable area. We visited on a random Thursday late morning and it wasn't crowded however there was a steady stream of customers. Service was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the cream cloud matcha flight (ube, salted vanilla, coconut and pandan). We loved the look but also the taste! The matcha was subtle but flavorful. We also ordered some mochi donuts which were also delicious. The ambiance was bright, welcoming and relaxed. We will definitely return again and again! read more

There was somewhat of a line on a Friday morning, but I love how they have a kiosk so that you can see the entire menu and customizations right in front of you. The interior is pretty clean and inviting. I didn't realize that the café was so close to all of the other businesses in the area that I like to frequent. I wasn't expecting much and I was honestly gonna try the strawberry first but once I saw the ube, I knew I had to give it a shot. And holy crap I'm in love with the Ube foam. It's one of the best things I've ever tried. The only downside is that if you do have little sweetness in your drink, the bitterness is kind of stark unless you mix it well. I'm not sure if I like the matcha or not because it doesn't really taste that fresh and the color is dull, for some reason. They do appear to have flights though. I was a little bummed when I didn't get chosen to go to their Yelp Elite event because I wanted to try it, but at the time they weren't offering any milk substitutes. The line does move pretty fast and I didn't have to wait too long for my order to be done. Not only does it taste decent, but the visuals are there. read more

Vivot was a cute spot, very lively and popular spot for gathering. The line was non-stop. I wanted to do something a little different and try the matcha, which is usually not my go to. I tried the matcha with mango and my friend tried the same drink with strawberry. She expressed hers was different but a 5/5 and the mango matcha was a 3/5. I swapped it out and ordered a white peach green tea. The green tea was simple and tasty. The staff was accommodating and willing to remake my drink. I'll be back! read more

A matcha flight is $17; your choice of 4 of our unique flavors in addition to having the option to add cream clouds (we have multiple yummy flavors) to any of glasses at no extra charge.
