    Garlic cheesesteak, wonderful!
    Megan E.

Vito's! Wow, this place is great. One man show, cash only, honor system, simple. The food is great and fast. He's even wonderful about substitutions, which I tend to omit things and very much appreciate this about him. Sometimes the line is long, sometimes you walk right in. Totally worth it no matter what. I just wish this place was a tad bigger to accommodate more tables, but either way, I'll be a customer for life! I live in SLC but drive to Bountiful for this gem. I will come back many times over when I'm craving a cheesesteak, which is often.

Vito is the man and his cheesesteaks are fire. Get here early and try the garlic Philly!

    Hot Sausage Sandwich

Was bumping around Bountiful around lunch time and had to take advantage of Vito's open hours and so we stopped by for lunch. Vito is a graduate of WX High so love supporting an old classmate from my graduating class. I usually get a Philly but decided to try the sausage sandwich and it was amazing. Greasy as you'd expect but very good. It's a sausage patty, not a link, grilled with onions and peppers. And packs a ton of flavor. 5/5 My wife ordered the classic Philly with just onions and loved it. I put a little jalapeño sauce on the bite she gave me and thought it was amazing. But I like a little kick. 5/5 Cash only, pay as you order on the honor system. Comes with a drink and chips. Great food. One man operation, only open for lunch.

I drove up from salt lake on a day off, and was very impressed with so many things about this business. The quality of my meal was fantastic and watching g someone make it in front of you really sets this apart. Fresh, flavorful, and great ratios, this really is a great place. I love that the costs are kept low by having people clean their own tables, the fact that it's a 1 man show, and that they are cash only and require you to handle the cash transaction. Fantastic sandwich, great experience, and the only thing slowing me down from visiting again are the limited hours.

Great food and line went fast. Highly recommend but could have used fly fans for sitting outside.

Oh wow, these Philly steak sandwiches are delicious. I think this has been the best I've ever tried. I was lucky when I arrived. I was 2nd in line, but the line got all the way out to the restaurant once I was getting my order. This place only takes cash; I wasn't prepared, but good thing they had an ATM. Great customer service; they're really friendly. The place's small, but there are also tables outside to enjoy the good weather.

    Mushroom cheesesteak sandwich

Have been waiting to try their cheesesteak sandwich for awhile and was finally able to grab lunch. Was quite a line inside but it moved pretty quickly even when the cook was also the person taking your order. Ordered the mushroom cheesesteak. Mushrooms were added on top (I do wish it was adders tot eye steak, onions and peppers for a few seconds). Sandwich was huge but so flavorful. A bag of chips and drink are also factored into the price. Cash or check only. They do not accept credit or debit cards. As others have mentioned, it's "honor system" when you're paying and if you need to make change. If you have exact amount, you're much better off. Can't wait to come back and try another cheesesteak.

**CASH ONLY ESTABLISHMENT** food quality: 5/5 service: 5/5 cleanliness: 5/5 value: 5/5 Wow! I'm sad it took me this long to find this place! Vito's Cheesesteaks are pretty amazing and it was everything I hoped for. This quick service restaurant was very unique not only with their food, but their payment system as well. This is a cash only establishment and even if you are not prepare with cash, they have an ATM readily available. The payment system made me laugh a bit as there is no cash register and Vito operates as the cashier, chef, and owner amongst many other roles. When you go up to order, he is extremely nice and takes your order, then tells you the total. You drop $20, $50, $100, and checks in the cash "hole" and anything less goes into the glass dish. If any change needed, you grab it yourself out of the dish (including quarters!) and it's on the honor system to not take more than you should (he's also watching ;) ) The orders came out fast and fresh - so incredibly delicious!! We ordered the classic Philly and the Roasted Garlic Philly - both amazing. The bread is from Stoneground Bakery and the meat was seasoned really well. Each sandwich comes with a bag of chips and soft drink that you fill at the soda machine. The rest of the staff was very friendly and attentive to refilling chips, cups, napkins, etc.. There is also a sign that asks customers to buss their own table, which I didn't mind as they give you the sanitizing spray to wipe down the table. Would recommend over and over again! Can't wait to go back!

Tasty Cheesesteak, Very generous helpings, and tax included in the price! I love it. Today was a tomato cheesesteak day. Great value for money, cool vibe, and cash only which is a fun twist of nostalgia & coolness.

    Alfredo Philly + Cactus cooler

Made a big order today for the office and he did it incredibly fast and with a smile even though he told me he had some supply issues today. I'll come here until he retires. Also check it out, I've never seen anyone else with cactus cooler. If you like a Philly cheesesteak and you haven't stopped in, make a trip, it's worth it. CASH ONLY, ATM INSIDE

The in depth: Rj grill is just off of Main Street in the business center with Spankys, Costa Vida, etc. Just hopped in after a workout via the recommendation of my barber. The interior wasn't anything to write home about but that's not why I go somewhere to eat. I ordered the bacon cheese burger with waffle fries, and within 5-10 minutes they were out with my order. The star of the show turns out to be those fries, I don't know what seasoning they had in there but it was honestly fantastic. The burger itself was nice and juicy with chewy bacon. As I write this my mouth still feels the amount of salt that I just had so if you're wary of that here's your warning. They also had Mexican sodas and sweet treats, I didn't get any but it could be a fun addition to an outing here. In the end if you're in bountiful and want a good burger that isn't a chain, this is probably a top option. Burgers will also run you about $13.5-$16 before tax with fries included) Rating: 4.25/5

We usually go with the hamburgers and they're really quite good. Today we tried the following; Monte Cristo sandwich and it looked good and had good flavor but it was really thickly battered, too much so taking away from the flavor. 3/5 And the fluffy sandwich. Two grilled cheese sandwiches, as the buns, and a hamburger patty with mushrooms and bacon in the middle. Not something I would normally order but the guy at the counter said it was amazing with even better flavor than the burgers. It was good but I thought the bread took away from the overall flavor, needed more sauce, and the round patty doesn't fit with the square bread. And it was quite the bomb, as expected. 3/5 We'll be back but will go back to the burgers. Their fries are very good much like McDonalds fries if you like those. 4/5

Which was made up of perfectly fried pork topped with Dukes mayo (my fav), ranch-kraut (my new fav), and dill. You can really taste the ingredients which is such a plus for me as too many ingredients in a sandwhich can get muddy. - They had a special butternut squash soup with calabrian chili which was phenomenal. At only $3 it was a perfect side for winter. CONS: - Pricey. I think at this price point if it added a bag of chips or some time of fruit or a small little side or maybe a can of soda included it would be a perfect meal and a very reasonable price point. I…read morehad noticed Deadpan from some foodie articles and accounts - amazingly, they decided to keep their business going due to the massive support they received when they announced their closure a few months ago. The owner was kind and helped me pick between the two sandwiches I was being indecisive about - the Oh Schnitzel and the Hot Chopped Cheese. He asked if I could handle spicy and I said yes. I let him choose a sandwich for me between the two and he chose the Hot Chopped Cheese and said he thinks I'd enjoy it. He described it as a sandwich with chopped-up cheeseburger fillings inside, and they use a lamb and beef patty instead of just beef. Right, he was. I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich and the meat was spiced and slightly spicy, but nothing I couldn't handle. The sandwich was flavorful, and I'm impressed that the bread wasn't too thick because sometimes places serve sandwiches with way too much bread-to-filling ratio. The bread was also a nice texture, I'm glad it wasn't too toasty or crunchy like some sandwiches can get that rub the roof of my mouth raw. I felt like I had a well-balanced meal out of the Chopped Cheese. Flavor-packed meat, cheese, veggies, bread - that's all you need. The food was delicious, and I don't doubt that the rest of the items on the menu taste great, but the prices feel high, yes, even in this economy. I say this because I was able to finish this sandwich and still felt I had room to eat some more, perhaps a little snack. I almost always cannot comfortably finish my food in one sitting when dining out, so that was a sign to me that this wasn't all that much food, and I could tell from the get-go because the sandwich did look small.
