Come here for their wonderful breakfast Alpina omelette with crescenza cheese mushrooms and fresh Tomatoes with Prosciutto di Parma. Good service and delicious coffee and omelette with good atmosphere and ambience with live music by guitars musician. Nice cloudy weather and cool ocean breeze will bring smiles for the whole family experience. My service lady is Rowanne. She is fantastic with good cheer and good recommendations. My table is at the center of this beautiful courtyard next to Chafinity tea House. Enjoy your Cappuccino and embrace the sunshine of love today. See you soon love Tin Tin.

I can't believe I haven't written one review on Vitaly! Shame on me. Vitaly has been here for over 17 years, at least! I know I was coming here during my college days and Vitaly is one of the few businesses at the Camp that has been there since the Camp opened! IYKYK!!! I love this family owned restaurant cafe. Vibe is good and chill. Love their gelato and coffee and food is high quality and so delicious. I hope they stay here forever because they are one of the personality and backbone of The Camp! Service has always been awesome all the times I've been here and I love their outdoor seatings... so European. Highly recommend!!!

I visited this cafe with several members of my family for breakfast. The location is charming, in The Camp. Cute shops, winding paths, artwork, and lush plantings. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Italian cuisine is their specialty. Indoor and outdoor patio seating available. On this weekday morning, they seemed to have inadequate staff. Wait times for ordering and receiving food were slow. (One cook and two servers). They seem to have a hybrid of counter service and waiter table service. Our general impression was that pricing tended to be high. The food is good quality. Presentation is nice. I did not feel my dish was as great as it should/ could have been So...nice ambience, but I won't rush back.

Vitaly Caffé is located in Costa Mesa's The Camp. It's surprisingly large inside. One part sells coffee and pastries, another serves gelato, and it's a full blown restaurant if you'd liked to dine in. I ordered the $3.80 larger iced drip coffee - it was nicely sized for the price and came out quickly. The service here is friendly and fast. The outdoor, covered seating is cozy and feels very romantic. The inside has a homey atmosphere to it. Parking can be difficult due to the small parking lot. I'd love to come back to try some of their dishes and gelato!

I have visited this vitaly location many times and always love the atmosphere. It's cozy and it's located in the camp so there's a lot of plants and you can smell the aromatics from the restaurant. Theres a small bakery and a sit down restaurant outside where you can order pizza, sandwiches, pasta, and Italian drinks like espresso, lattes, and wine. We got two pastas the lasagna made with a green pasta and the tagliolone which was superb and unique. It has a tomato base, squid ink pasta, some seafood, and it was something I have never tried before. Something was off about the lattes both the pumpkin spice and the chai- had a very bitter taste or maybe the issue was the milk. Overall, I had a great Italian lunch and I will come back to try one of their sandwhiches and gelato.

If you are in a mood to catch up with a friend over coffee and some nicely made snacks, this is the place to be. Great Italian style caffe in The Camp. Nice evening ambience too with smaller areas in which to converse. Open fire pit adds really cosy feel heading into winter. You'll love it! The menu is pretty big considering the small space. You can have dinner, ice cream, Italian cookies and coffee, tea and other Italian style drinks. Service is decent. Their coffee is delicious specially cappuccino and latte. Ice cream just ok for my taste. Prices are reasonable. Not cheap but not expensive. Parking is a challenge if you go on weekend evening!

Rubus Bowl Breakfast shrimp and pineapple pizza

Food, service, and vibe were all amazing. The smoothie bowl was so fresh and the perfect topping to base ratio. I didn't think I'd like the pizza topping combo but it actually slayed and the crust was so yummy. Only knock is how tiny the biscotti was because it was so delicious I wanted more. Can't wait to come back and try more!!

A great evening for a latte!

I LOVE frequenting this cute little cafe located right at The Camp for some wonderful bites, tasty gelato, and delicious coffee. I really love their pizza as it had great flavor and texture! They've got the best ambiance and a cool small patio area to sit at with a fire pit which my friends and I particularly love. The staff are the best being super friendly and always so nice. I'd highly recommend making a stop here while at The Camp in Costa Mesa!

I haven't been to Vitaly Caffe in a while. It was nice to be back! I made a reservation for a Sunday and wasn't sure if it would be busy (it wasn't because it was a gloomy day). I love to sea that they had a reserved table set up for us right near the fire. It was thoughtful, since it was chilly out. My favorite thing about Vitaly is their delicious coffee drinks, gelato, and pastries! It's a great location with great food. My only negative today was the meal I ordered. I got an egg dish and they were really watery and didn't taste very good - had an odd flavor. I'd also love to see some French toast or more sweet brunch items. But, I usually get a salad or flat bread and those have never disappointed!!

Lasagna a La Bolognese
Mary Anne W.

Friendly workers, we dined in wish we didn't, the food was super expensive, the flatbread pizza was good! My kids ate 2 of those pan square margarita pizza's. So I'm not complaining about the flatbread because it was super light and the kids finished it. The lagnasa bolognese was different to order, I would not get it again. I just don't think the quality of it was worth the price, but first time for everything to try! Parking can be hard, since it's various restaurants throughout the whole plaza. I parked across the street next to Pepboys area to since I struggled in the main plaza lot. The decoration inside was amazing felt like some parts of Italy. Behind the counter area is another back area that has the Gelatos too. It was good, some flavors were overly sweet but its gelato.

How much is the corkage fee?

Hi Janis, thank you for asking, it is $18.00

Do they serve cacio e pepe or spaghetti carbonara?

Hello it is a special request out of our regular menu right now, but we always spaghetti and the ingredients to do a Cacio e Pepe or a Carbonara so Yes we can ;-)

Is this place good for studying?

No, it's more of a place to eat than study. Tables are small and it can get loud.

Can you bring in your own cup for coffee drinks?

Yes of course :-)

Is there an area where we Can host a baby sprinkle?

It depends on a size of your group. There is a pretty large patio, and I believe it's heated. The area inside of the restaurant isn't that spacious.

Bacio di Latte recently opened a location where I'm from, but I haven't gotten around to trying the place because of its ridiculously long line. We strolled into the storefront around 6:45pm. Since we were the only customers at the time, I took my time trying as many samples that piqued my interest. I tried the salted caramel, strawberry cheesecake, caffe & caramel latte, buttercream pretzel, and fragola super latte. The consistency of the gelato was smooth and creamy, and the flavors were bold and pretty spot on. I honestly couldn't have gone wrong with any flavor, but I settled for a piccolo (smallest) cup of two flavors: caffe & caramel latte and fragola super latte. Particularly the fragola super latte was noteworthy because it reminded me of strawberry milk. Absolutely fantastic!

We have never tried their gelato before and we figured if lots of people are willing to WAIT in line for GELATO then, it must be really good! Right? STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE GELATO: 8/10 I really like it! It does taste like a cheesecake but, I felt like I got a lot of milk or yogurt flavor. It wasn't a bad thing, it just kind of gave my taste buds a curve ball... CHOCOLATE & SALTED CARAMEL:8/10 It seemed like my hubby enjoyed his gelato but, he said it's was just OK. He is more of a COLDSTONE guy... OVERALL: They take pride and care in making their products. My friends said the afoggato coffee was good! SERVICE: B+ The gals seemed a bit over whelmed by all the customers and giving them samples. Everyone is just there to do their job and get it over with... KEEP IT ROCKN BACIO DI LATTE!!!!

Staff was very patient with me and my group. We were a group of 9! We also mentioned that it was my cousin's birthday and the rule at the store is that they offer a free small ice cream on your birthday (with showing ID). They also added a candle on top of my cousin's ice cream, lit it up, and sang happy birthday to her! It was so cute! Ambiance: So clean inside and there is a lot of open space inside which I appreciated! Since there was a lot of us in the group it didn't feel to cramped. I've been here twice now and tried about five different flavors total, and every single one was gross. The Experience: * Bad Flavors: On my last visit, I actually had to ask the worker to swap my flavor because I was convinced I just got a "bad" one. The second flavor was somehow even worse. I didn't even finish it; I just threw it away because it was that nasty. * Texture & Taste: It tastes like watered-down diet ice cream. It lacks any of the richness or flavor you'd expect from a specialized shop, especially for how expensive it is. I wouldn't even go back if the ice cream were free. The Location Trap: This place is right on 17th Street next to Sidecar Doughnuts and Pop Pie Co., which is a great, convenient location. I think people only go here because it's a "cool-looking" spot to stop at while driving to the beach or grabbing a donut next door. If it weren't for the location, I don't see how they would stay in business. Final Verdict: Don't be fooled by the convenient location or the surrounding shops. The ice cream is truly disappointing and definitely not worth the price. I won't be coming back ever.
