The place isn't easy to find. It's in a business building by California Pizza Kitchen. You have take a ticket at the gate but they validate. I've eat here at the San Juan Capistrano, the good is just as good. The area behind the cafe outside is so nice to sit and lounge especially for breakfast. Will come back now that I know where they are

New cafe at the business complex that offers various breakfast, wraps, Sandos, and pastries. Stopped by for late afternoon coffee, saw that they had an assortment of 12 pastries for $56. I picked 6 pastries and colleague picked the other 6. From top left to bottom right, Vegan German chocolate cake, truffles, bribery banana bread, double chocolate cookie, chai tea cake, and sweet potato tart bread. It's great they offer various gluten free and vegan options along with other food. Service was nice and friendly. It's a nice cafe with amble seating options outside. Definitely a quick bite after working out at 24 hrs works as well!

    Grand opening today!

Today was their grand opening. I'm so glad they came to Costa Mesa. They are worthy of the drive to San Juan Capistrano though. MoonGoat coffee and gluten free desserts. It's such a treat! Love the grilled cheese kale sandwich as well.

Both the tuna melt and smoked salmon sandwich were excellent! The tuna melt is probably the best I've ever had.

It's got that raw, industrial aesthetic, but they've clearly put a lot of intention into the details to make it feel welcoming rather than cold. The service was top-tier! Even the Wi-Fi password was a highlight (it's hilarious and definitely fits the "coffee" theme). I originally stopped by specifically for a secret menu item they happened to be out of, but the guy working was so nice about it that it didn't even matter. I ended up with the Peaches and Cream Matcha with oat milk. It was delicious and super well-balanced. I also really appreciated that they double-checked with me about the topping--it's dairy, and since I ordered oat milk, it was great of them to confirm I was okay with that instead of just serving it. If you want a place with character and staff that actually pays attention, this is it. I'll definitely be back to try and snag that secret menu drink next time!

Hands down some of the best coffee in OC. If you don't like sweet, don't get a drink with flavoring. Or ask them to adjust. Simple! If you want something yummy and different, try their seasonal menu. I have never once felt like staff was rude. Every interaction has been authentic and genuine. The best. Lastly, long lines happen because this place has grown A TON post-COVID. They're also in the same building as a church, so get there early on the weekend or sit in line and enjoy the atmosphere. There's a friendly crowd there. For our drinks, we got two signature drinks: *lucky matcha* and *cookie butter latte* They're both on the sweeter side but still good. They live up to the name and description. You're able to taste the marshmallow in the matcha and the biscoff and cinnamon on the latte. For food, we got *avocado toast* The bread was very fresh, thick and moist. My favorite part was the pickled onions. I'd definitely get it again. And the *breakfast burrito* is okay. Nothing outstanding - they did tell us they get them made a day before and they warm up upon order.

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! It's right next to colorful barrel fountains, and on a sunny day it honestly felt like the perfect coffee outing. The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte. Definitely worth the visit!

The gentleman welcomed me as soon as I walked in which I absolutely love. After a quick glance at the menu, I decided on the iced coconut macadamia latte. It was so delicious.
