The general expectations for install were never communicated to us, we have never replaced flooring and didn't know they would be demoing the entire house and then installing, requiring us to vacate the home. For someone new, it's reasonable to assume they might go room by room? Maybe not. Setting out general expectations and timelines in advance would be great. 2. The job took much longer than originally stated. 3. Quality of baseboards that they replaced was much lower than what we originally had installed. 4. The overall quality of the install was poor. It was clear they had no idea how to work with this newer product. Especially when it came to the stairs which they redid and it's still not right. 5. Photos included of messy filler/caulking, install spaces between joints and large spaces next to walls, creaky steps (multiple). I waited one year to review as the sales person said that "of course the steps will creak when they are new but when they settle in it won't". I feel like they are "settled" now but they still creak like crazy. They weren't the cheapest quote we got, we thought we were getting quality install and were ok with paying more but that was not the case.

I reached out to Allstar Installation Specialists and Ernie responded extremely quickly and came to my house the next day. We wanted to replace all the carpet with Luxury Vinyl Plank, and Allstar had the best price out of everyone in our area we got an estimate from. Ernie worked with us closely, was the only company to bring samples, and we hired them on the spot! They got to work quickly and finished 900 sq ft carpet removal and LVP installation with stairs in a day and a half! Ernie even went above and beyond to come after the job was finished and personally add some closet dividers to our children's sliding door closets, since our old ones from the carpet were removed with the carpet demo.
