Vista Paint is our go to for any and all of our painting needs. We have been going to them for both our home and Chiropractic office for may years now-since 2005. The Santa Ana store was where we originally went to but found out about the Fullerton store. I would recommend both stores equally. The service is A + The store is clean and full of everything you need for a successful painting project. The staff is amazing, really! When deciding on a color for my kitchen I wanted the "white farmhouse kitchen" but because of the help of the staff they came up the perfect solution. A "Hint of Vanilla" paint color solved the stark brightness of the blinding white. The color is perfect! Each morning my kitchen is welcoming and cheery! I am a senior painting contractor with decades of experience with this company; while never completely satisfied with management as company is family owned ; good relations with employees. I find some of their products superior some not as in any paint store. However, I take exception with their latest money grab in addition to frequent increases they have instituted a supply chain disruption charge of 4 percent. While this is legal to my knowledge; I don't know if it can be levied legally or ethically without notice to contractors. It is true that SHERWIN WILLIAMS DID THIS AS WELL DIFFERENCE BEING THEY NOTIFIED THEIR CONTRACTORS IN ADVANCE IN A 30 day prior billing. Shame on Vista Paint. Contacted them and all I get is hostility and too bad so sad you can shop elsewhere and last I looked this America and you can shop where you want from Denise B a very hostile and unprofessional management level pro at this co. Well yes completely right it is still America and you legally did not have to notify us as Sherwin Williams did; it is still extremely poor business practices and clearly shows your disdain for doing what is right. read more

In full disclosure, I have always been a fan of Vista Paint. Always great quality product and people. I used to go to the one in La Habra until it closed this week. This was my first trip to the Fullerton store. It didn't start out promising, as there was a mismatch on the paint color. That created a bit of a problem and I wasn't real happy when I had to come back. When I did come back Morgan, the manager, helped me as did Kareem, the paint matcher. By the time I left, I was in a great mood. Morgan knows how to take care of people. This guy is good. And Kareem? Good lord. That kid could color match paint off a black and white photo. Color matching is almost always a little off, but not when this guy does it. As a footnote, I hope the La Habra store gets re-established sometime soon. Clint took good care of me for several years over there and he's the reason I began to love Vista so much in the first place. Apparently customer service is just a way of life for this company. read more

I did not see Vista's Santa Ana location, but know their HQ is in Fullerton. The local branch on the corner of the 55 Freeway, 17th Street and Tustin Ave is amazing! I also love to support not only a California company, but knowing they are OC based, and make their paint local (according to the store personnel) is even better. I had a great experience with them helping me choose the right paint for my outdoor project and help me get the color right. We used Vista years ago and found the quality to be great. Too soon this time to weigh in on that, but can say it went on easily and my husband was impressed with the first coat coverage. Thanks Vista Paint!! read more

I visited this store for the first time in many years and boy what a disappointment. I needed a special color and I was directed to the paint mixing counter. I couldn't get near the counter since there was a mountain of paint barrels in front of the counter. I did walk trough to where the employees were and they were very helpful but I annoyed a guy who appeared to be a supervisor of sorts who was moving some paint cans. This guy didn't say anything -no customer service I encountered the same supervisor guy on the way out of the store and he totally ignored me. This used to be a great friendly place. I am sad that it is so horrible now. read more

Very nice staff here who helped me out with colors and quickly offered me their complete deck of colors to take with me so I could properly choose the right paint colors. Had a much better vibe than another Vista store I went to. I'd go to this store if you're using Vista paint. read more

My wife came here to pick up some paint for our baseboard (flooring vendor is installing new baseboards and painting them). Paint is very specific to the builder, it's called IP white. She called ahead to made sure it's in stock and that was confirmed over the phone. When she got there, Juan helped her. He gave her a generic white paint and told her it's the same one. When she insisted and asked if it was the right paint, he said yes in a rude manner. Well after we brought the paint back, we were luckily told that it was not the right paint by our flooring vendor and that it wouldn't match with rest of house. She went back and another attendant helped her and provided her with IP white paint. Basically, Juan bad advice could have made us pick the wrong paint. Unacceptable read more

In 2012 I spent hours/days trying to get the perfect color with the custom paint dept at Vista paint on Orangethorpe in Fullerton. I bought several gallons and am so happy with the color. The custom color guy told me I never had to worry that my formula would always be available to me. So a few weeks ago we decided to paint the office the same color. I called Vista on a Saturday to order another gallon of my formula and the guy told me there was nothing on record. Long story short, I sent an email to them complaining and Carlos Esparza responded that they did have my formula and the guy on Saturday just didn't know where to look. Thank God! Because now I have two more gallons! read more
