Trying to be a responsible citizen and not through the sample jars in the trash I brought them into the store for them to recycle. I was told by whom I presume was the manage that "He didn't have room " and I should take it to another Sherwin-Williams . The store shelves are half empty! We're talking about a few sample containers the size of a mayonnaise jar! I said can you help me out they are only samples and I bought all the house paint here? Again, he said I don't have the room. I'm a senior citizen and I can assure you I will not be patronizing this store again nor will recommend it to my neighbors and community. Also as the former President of my homeowners association I will recommend my fellow homeowners do not buy their paint there. Bottom line: He just didn't want to deal with it

We mainly shopped in the garden area, but we also looked around inside for a bit as we're getting ideas for a possible kitchen remodel. Of course, we had to admire the Halloween decor. We found the plants we were looking for, along with some soil, which, I have to say, was in pretty good condition when we visited. Soil can often be messy, with bags ripped open, etc. And after a rain, it's even worse. The rows and pile of bags almost look like they were cleaned off. The garden center doesn't have self-checkout (thankfully), and the person who checked us out was super friendly and helpful. They had brown paper to lay down in the car right by the cashier, which is a nice touch.

Like some of the reviews mention about employees going above and beyond, she truly stood out with her customer service. She was proactive, knowledgeable, and genuinely willing to help instead of just pointing me down an aisle. The store itself feels like an improvement from the older location--clean, organized, and well stocked. It can be a little tricky getting in depending on how you enter the parking lot, but once inside, the experience was smooth. Bobbie made sure I found exactly what I needed and took the time to answer my questions without rushing me. Overall, she made what could have been a routine Home Depot trip a great customer service experience.

While in the store purchasing two pendants, I asked for help. The salesperson couldn't locate the remote and said he would follow up later that day. Crickets. I called, was told Monday, and again--crickets. Today, I called again and had an amazing experience because Adrian Brunen picked up the phone. He asked me to send him a photo of the fan and model number. Within 30 minutes, he called me back and we ordered the replacement remote over the phone. Adrian is a stockroom supervisor, but he is so much more than that. He is customer-service oriented, a doer, a fixer, solution-oriented, a critical thinker, and genuinely committed to helping people. He handled everything with grace and professionalism. What impressed me most was that he never once made excuses or mentioned the challenges with the new system, even though I had heard about them during my store visit. My experience with the process may not be something I would give five stars, but Adrian absolutely deserves five stars and recognition. People like Adrian are valuable. He represents what great customer service should look like, and I hope Lamps Plus recognizes his contribution and gives him every opportunity to grow.
