From…read morethe moment you walk in, it feels personal, they know my name, and the welcome is always genuine. The manager, Jenny, is amazing and truly keeps everything running smoothly. Dr. Espinosa is cool, approachable, and clearly cares about his patients. On my most recent visit, I saw their newer doctor, Dr. Fabrizio, and she took great care of me as well, super attentive and professional. They always have a great selection of lenses and frames, they take insurance, and what I really appreciate is how helpful they are when it comes to choosing frames. They actually give honest feedback and help you decide what looks best, instead of leaving you to figure it out on your own. If you're single and need someone to externally process frames with you, this is definitely the place to go, they've got you covered! Overall, it's just a fun, friendly, welcoming office. They're also Christian-owned, which I really appreciate as a Christian myself. I can't recommend James Espinosa OD enough.

Dr. Espinosa and his staff have served my family for years. The ladies are always friendly and try to take care of patients quickly and efficiently. Jennifer, the office manager, has never hesitated to answer any questions we've had and she's gone above and beyond to answer any questions, make sure that we get the full benefit of our insurance coverage, and ensure that our glasses/contact orders are accurate. I went to pick up my glasses today and immediately noticed that they felt very heavy. I have a…read morestrong prescription, so I understand that the lenses may be thicker, but I was expecting them to be thinner like my current glasses. I really liked the frames, so I decided to give them a chance, especially since there's a 30-day return policy. After picking them up, I sat outside the store and tried them on again. A few minutes later, I realized they were simply too heavy, so I went back inside to return them. I asked if there were thinner lens options and was told there weren't for Transitions lenses. I then asked to return the glasses. The associate asked for my receipt, and I showed them my emailed receipt. I was told that wouldn't work and that I needed to find somewhere to print a physical copy and come back. I had literally picked up the glasses about five minutes earlier. If a physical receipt is required, you would think the store would have a way to print one for the customer. I asked if I still had 30 days to return them and was told yes. The whole experience was unnecessarily frustrating, and unfortunately, it has made me hesitant to shop at LensCrafters again

Sad to say, I don't foresee myself returning back to this office because of the staff. I used to receive either an email or a call every year to inform me about my annual eye exam and they would schedule me an appointment. This year I didn't receive any of that and when I called to get one scheduled, they told me that I only had a "home" number on file which is why they couldn't send anything (which doesn't make sense because they've emailed me before AND called me). However, that didn't really bother me because I assume there process has changed, new staff members and/or they could be using a new system. The representative got me scheduled for an appointment and asked if my insurance changed and I did inform her it changed but needed to locate the new insurance info and would call back. I called back and provided her with my insurance info. - Exactly 5 days before my appointment, I actually went into there office to 1) verify that everything was all settled with my insurance 2) view some of the glasses I would soon pick out when I come in for my appointment and 3) request one pair of contacts as a courtesy since I was on my last pair of contacts and one contact ripped. The staff member at the front desk CONFIRMED that everything is good to go with my insurance and was nice enough to give me one pair of contacts. -- About 1 hour before my appointment I received a call from Hospital Eyecare Center about my insurance, which puzzled me because I thought it was all settled. She wanted to know if I had PPO insurance, I confirmed that it was and she told me that they accept PPO so I'm fine. -- I walk in the office the exact time of my appointment and the women at the front desk was still trying to get clarification on my insurance. I wasn't worried because I was told more than once that my insurance was covered. After 8-10 mins another representative comes to me to inform that my insurance is actually not covered and that they don't take the "PPO" insurance I have. I'm not upset at the fact that my insurance wasn't accepted, I was upset at the fact that I called in ADVANCE to schedule my appointment, provided them my insurance, went into the office days before my actual appointment to make sure I was covered and was told my insurance was good to go, but the day I come in for my appointment (mind you I took off from work) they tell me my insurance was NOT covered! I was so furious with them at that moment! I said what I had to say to them and just walked out. My advice to the staff, as soon as a customer schedules their appointment, don't wait until the day of their appointment to fully verify if their insurance is covered or not! That should have been done well in advance. At that moment, I wanted to rate them a 1 star, but that would have only been out of frustration. I think it's fair to rate them a 4, since I've been going to them for so long and didn't have any issues with them in the past, their office is always so clean when I visit and Dr. Fletcher is awesome. I also received an apology call from Debbie, which is appreciated. Other than that, I am disappointed with some of the staff members that were responsible for fully verifying my coverage.

The building is older, the mall has been there a very long time now. Very fast, no screwing around. The eye doctor got right to the exam, I think both of us were out of there in less than 30 minutes. Michelle greeted me as I entered the facility, she was very pleasant. No kidding, I was in and out of there in 5 minutes tops! With everything done to my satisfaction! Got back home with way more time on my hands than I'd thought to have left after the visit. So why am I upset? Cause I'm a crabby guy who can find fault with everything, but I can't find even the smallest thing to complain about this visit. I took a pairs of my glasses and my wife's glasses for some new clear nose comfort pad repairs. I was nicely greeted and seated at the center by the Manager Optician Michele. Michele was very organized and very efficient, as she handled each customer waiting for service very professionally. Patricia was the Spectacles and Contacts Optician who took care of me and my two pair of glasses. Patricia went in the back room and installed new very small clear glasses nose comfort pads on my two pair of glasses. Patricia had a very nice personality, and the total cost of my glasses repairs were only $5.34. That's correct you heard it right, $5.34. I will definitely be coming back to this Walmart Vision & Glasses Center again !
