I called that evening before closing and was told they would have my glasses on Tuesday, 5/5. It is now the afternoon of 5/5, and I still have not received any updates. When I called again, I was told the glasses had not arrived and that they "might" be available sometime this week, but no specific timeline could be provided. It has now been 12 business days, and there seems to be no sense of urgency or concern for the customer experience. Payment was collected promptly, but the product has yet to be delivered, and communication has been consistently lacking. Based on this experience, I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I was greeted by friendly people at the front desk who looked at my glasses and with a smile said we can fix this in a flash. They did and bonus, didn't charge me because I was a returning customer. I was willing to pay whatever and I am so appreciative that my favorite glasses are as good as new.

From a few days, to a week, to nearly four weeks. I was repeatedly told to wait for a text message with a pickup code, but never received one. I had to call myself to find out my glasses were already ready, and after specifically asking if I still needed to wait for the text, I was told yes. Five hours later, I called again only to be told I never needed the text in the first place. The interaction afterward made me feel like I was somehow at fault for following the instructions I was given. I was also disappointed with the fitting process. When I asked how to tell if the glasses were too tight or needed adjustment, I was basically told it was up to personal preference. Previous eye care offices I've gone to would at least visually check the fit and help with adjustments, but here I was mostly just handed the glasses and a case without much guidance. Delays and miscommunication happen, but the overall experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. However, the doctor was really nice, he deserves better.

Insurance concerned a whole lot. (Thank you to my job). I haven't gotten a call back for glasses. They said two weeks. Hoping I hear back by the end of this week. I chose some really cute ones that are popn. They have a variety of styles and I paid with Apple Pay lol. Before knowing whether I was even a patient there, she told me that only my doctor could provide it, or they could measure it if I was purchasing glasses through their office. I explained that Dr. Vu is our doctor and that we've been patients here for years, but she simply said that next time I would have to ask him. What was especially frustrating is that I have EyeMed insurance, and Target Optical is in-network, so of course I wanted to use them. I only planned to order online because of the limited in-store selection. I've worked in optometry for years, and in my experience, measuring a patient's PD is a routine task that opticians perform regularly. The interaction left me feeling disappointed and undervalued as a long-time patient. Because of this experience, I ended up canceling my own appointment that was scheduled for a few days later.
