I had a disappointing experience with My Eye Guy due to poor communication and customer service. After purchasing my frames, I was given multiple inconsistent timelines for when my glasses would be ready. From a few days, to a week, to nearly four weeks. I was repeatedly told to wait for a text message with a pickup code, but never received one. I had to call myself to find out my glasses were already ready, and after specifically asking if I still needed to wait for the text, I was told yes. Five hours later, I called again only to be told I never needed the text in the first place. The interaction afterward made me feel like I was somehow at fault for following the instructions I was given. I was also disappointed with the fitting process. When I asked how to tell if the glasses were too tight or needed adjustment, I was basically told it was up to personal preference. Previous eye care offices I've gone to would at least visually check the fit and help with adjustments, but here I was mostly just handed the glasses and a case without much guidance. Delays and miscommunication happen, but the overall experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. However, the doctor was really nice, he deserves better. read more

Hi there! I had my first ever appointment about two weeks ago. The customer service was solid. I was received with a warm welcome. They used some cool new 2025 machines of the future to check my eyes. 20:20 vision. Seems legit. The doctor was contacted via zoom. She said I'd get some prescriptions for far distance and reading. Insurance concerned a whole lot. (Thank you to my job). I haven't gotten a call back for glasses. They said two weeks. Hoping I hear back by the end of this week. I chose some really cute ones that are popn. They have a variety of styles and I paid with Apple Pay lol. I will give five stars and update this review if I get a call back to pick up by this Thursday the latest. Pray for me so I get them asap!! Check them out! read more

The receptionist was very kind and tried her best during our visit. She was patient with my autistic daughter, gave her stickers and toys, and even placed them on the doctor's chair so my daughter could play and stay calm while we waited in the exam room. I truly appreciated her effort. Unfortunately, our experience went downhill when Dr. Lee entered the room. My daughter was calmly playing with the stickers and toys on the chair that the receptionist had allowed her to use when he walked in and immediately said, "That's my chair," and then told all of us to sit down in a very rude and dismissive manner. There was no kindness, no patience, and his tone was completely unnecessary. My husband responded that he didn't appreciate the way we were being spoken to. Dr. Lee then replied, "Are we going to do this or what?" which completely shocked us. I explained that there is a respectful way to speak to families, especially those already dealing with stressful medical concerns and children with autism. We came in worried because my daughter is having issues with her right eye and were already going through a lot trying to get her help. Instead of showing any patience or compassion, we were asked to leave and were told we were banned from the office. We left completely empty-handed without answers for our daughter. This was an extremely disappointing and hurtful experience. I'm not saying he couldn't ask us to move, but there's a respectful way to speak to people, and his tone was completely inappropriate. A doctor who lacks patience, compassion, and professionalism should not be working with families--especially children with special needs. Families deserve understanding and respect, and unfortunately we did not receive that here. read more

They do not know what insurances they take. If you have two insurances... they can't bill two insurances for appointments. Despite my wanting contacts I was not measured for contacts. I was not provided my full prescription to order glasses. I was on time and waited over an hour to see the eye doctor. And yet I did not leave this place with my full prescription. Nor was I measured for contacts despite mentioning contacts repeatedly. Once I noticed this information the idiots who knew their boss has left and is presumably driving presumably kept me waiting for his responses on various things. Despite he has left for the day. I was not demanding them call him back. Once provided the information that it was too late for x. I just kept trying to have my insurances billed for the appointment. The appointment that I again did not actually get me information that I need to order glasses. I don't even know if the doctor actually examined my eyes fully. They didn't do dilation. So not only do I think they didn't exam my eyes fully. They clearly were running over an hour behind so the doctor whom I am the last patient of the day clearly doesn't care about me and wants to get home. Leaves me without a full eye prescription, without a contact prescription and possibly without a full eye exam. And I was in that office two hours. Not with the doctor that was less than 10 minutes. And he bolted straight after. Waiting for the receptionists to figure out what I owe so I can leave while they try to sell me glasses I'm not interested in. Or contacts that I can't buy because I wasn't fitted for them while they wait on their driving bosses responses. Instead of trying to figure out how to bill my insurances so I don't have a copay. I rather never see the inside of this building again. They also do not give you PD measurements unless you buy from them so if you just need your prescription and don't want their eyewear you won't be getting it from here. read more

Came in for an eye exam to get prescription glasses for the first time. I did the pretest with Poppy and she was very helpful and kind. The entire process went smooth and they said it would take about 2 weeks for my lenses to be ready. They called me two weeks later, went and picked them up with no problem.
