My husband and I have seen Stacy for years(2012, if not earlier). She's always been great & never had any issues. A little over a year ago my husband started to be unable to see out of a portion of his eye. During an eye exam Stacy suggested that it might be glaucoma & he should see his primary to get a referral to a specialist. We finally got in December and just saw the specialist last week. 3.5 weeks ago, my husband had another eye exam from Stacy for new prescription for contacts. Stacy stated that everything looked healthy. As soon as the eye specialist, that the primary sent a referral for, looked at his eyes he saw that he had a detached retina. HOW DID SHE MISS THIS 3.5 WEEKS PRIOR?! Not to mention in previous years, we've paid no more than $350 for a year supply of contacts. This year, the receptionist quoted a little over $500. My husband goes in to pick up the contacts today & receptionist states that we owe an additional $200 for the contacts! I'm frustrated with the fact that we're supposed to pay $700+ for contacts but I'm PISSED that she missed the detached retina. How does this happen?! read more

I went to see Stacy Vo for the first time yesterday. I was due for my routine exam but my old place is not open after 5pm or on weekends. I work full-time, as well as go to school, so my schedule is a little hectic. I was able to get their latest appointment, at 5:15. Upon walking in, I was very nicely greeted buy the gal working behind the front counter (I forgot her name and I feel terrible about it because she was awesome!). After getting checked in, I was taken back by Dr. Vo, she said to just call her Stacy. Stacy was very nice, and straight to the point, which I like. Since my eyes arent crazy bad, I was in and out of the actual exam within 10 minutes. One thing that I really appreciated was that she walked me through what she was doing, what machine does what, and she even took the time to show me photos of my eyes and showed me how healthy they are. They do have a good, small selection of glasses. The more unique designs that looked the best on me were designer, Tiffany & Co. I only did not get these frames because they would have been an additional $200 on top of my $150 allowance *insert crying emoji here*. I settled on a pair of Ray Bans that I felt just looked okay on me, but I wanted to take advantage of what my insurance is going to give me. My glasses will take about two weeks to get in, which seems average. Overall, I will be returning to see Dr. Vo and her awesome staff. Check-in on yelp for a $20 discount off your total! read more

After a not so great experience at another optometrist, I found this place on yelp. I didn't have my eye exam done by Dr. Vo as I already had my prescription but her staff is top notch! They are fairly busy but they were still nothing but helpful and friendly. Definitely a breath of fresh air compared to my experience at the previous optometrist office I visited. They have a great selection of reasonably priced frames and I was still able to use the additional yelp deal to save some extra money! I won't be going anywhere else from now on! read more

Once again Dr Vo for the WIN!! Dr Vo, has cared for our families vision for many years now. Recently, my husband started experiencing pain, redness and itching to his eye. We thought it was allergies but after trying over the counter eye drops and his condition continuing to get worse, he went in to see Dr Vo. She knew right away that he had a pretty bad eye infection and prescribed medications and a follow-up visit. Within a few days, the eye was on the mend and now he has fully recovered. Also, her team( employees ) are super helpful and friendly. Making appointments has always been quick and easy and we receive our new prescription glasses timely. They are also very clear when explaining what is covered by insurance and what amounts are out of pocket, which we appreciate! Dr Vo is easy to talk to, family oriented and most of all she remembers her patients. Great character traits! We feel very comfortable and trust in her treatment. If ever we've had a question or didn't understand a diagnosis, she took the extra time to explain so we left fully informed and could make a educated decision as to our course of action. First time here, saw all the positive Yelp reviews and decided to give them a try. So far, I'm impressed with the way the office and doctor handle appointments , especially during Covid. I like that the waiting room wasn't crowded the times I've come in. The girls at the front desk always greet you as you walk in the door and seem to be joyful, and like their job which says a lot. Each time I've been there, they offer to wipe the room down a second time ,if that would make me feel more comfortable, and they don't seem bothered in the least. The doctor is good at what she does, very precise and explains things as you go along. I appreciate Dr. Vo explaining the details of the retinal image that she took looking at the optic nerve and surrounding blood vessels. I felt confident that the exam was thorough. My contact order was very prompt, they only took a few days to arrive which is good because I was almost out of my current supply. I subtracted a star because I paid for the contact lenses and I never got a follow up from the office as far as coverage. I paid extra and I really thought it was expensive. DO NOT GO TO THIS OPTOMETRY! They were rude from the very beginning! My insurance provider is PPO and they cover basic examinations and they said my insurance doesn't when it clearly does! They charged me $50 for a basic exam and said I needed to pay when they should've dealt with the insurance company! Then they sent my payment to a debt collector saying that I must pay them! Horrible business practice and there are plenty around the area! You have been warned! read more

I am very please with this office. We live in the mountains and or Dr offices are quite limited up there. My daughter who is a teenager insisted that I find her a new eye dr. She just wasn't comfortable with her current especially wanting to try contacts. So I did my research and came across Ms Vo. Thank goodness I did. She was so kind, patient and highly skilled. My daughter felt safe and now has contacts! This is the place to go especially for those teens who are nervous about contacts but desperately want them!! Btw the office is very cleaned and organized. I went in yesterday, not exactly a walk in but only had an hour before and luckily they were able to squeeze me in. I've been having very blurry vision and Google was telling me the absolute worst. I went in and everyone was absolutely amazing and unbelievably patient. At the other place i went to they got frustrated because I blinked during the pressure test and just decided I didn't needed it. It was so nice and refreshing to have a staff that truly cared and went above and beyond to keep me comfortable. The doctor also performed a retinal exam and explained EVERYTHING! She answered every single question I had and not only answered it but also explained it all! Dr. Vo's staff is inept to a degree that the purchase of any lenses will not be appropriate to daily use and, hence, mostly unusable. After 45 years, I needed my first pair of glasses (for reading). After getting confusing advice from the front desk about what the UV option would entail, even though I spent so much time on the computer, I declined. However, in later discussions, I learned the staff's advice was deceiving, so I tried to change my order. After an unsuccessful talk with the front staff (who provided incorrect information on the order change process and refused to call the lens company as they were "certain" they already knew what the company would say), I gave up. I later received a call from Dr. Vo who explained all the details, called the company, corrected the advice her staff had given, and ordered my new pair of lenses - Dr. Vo herself was great. Fast forward to my glasses pickup today: in trying them on, if I'm reading a cellphone or a book, they're great; however, if I'm reading from my computer screen (how I literally spend my entire work day), it's blurry. In questioning the staff, they informed me that it was my issue because I ordered the glasses for "reading", and if I had wanted them for the "reading on the computer", then I should have ordered a progressive lens (which I didn't understand because they never bothered to explain a progressive lens, and incidentally, which my insurance would have covered for free). So now, in order to "read" on the computer, they informed me that I would need to have my screen about 6 inches from my face, which is ridiculous and not doable. I can't redo the lenses at this point - I used that "credit" on making the UV change. So I am basically stuck with my annual insurance allocation of inappropriate and mostly unusable lenses until the year ends. At which point, I'll be going elsewhere as Dr. Vo's staff literally can't perform in an effective way to fulfill the most basic needs of an optometry business (to help people see better). read more

For what it's worth, the optometrist has been helpful and knowledgeable the few times I've been here. Other than that, there's no reason to go. It's unorganized and EXPENSIVE. Orders can take weeks (and in my case months) to fulfill. The staff doesn't seem to care how long you walk around blind for and just want you to swipe your card and move along, so needless to say I'll be going somewhere else from now on. read more
