I was soon referred to Miller Optometry, one of the longest established Optometry offices in my hometown. Dr. Dosaj took over the practice a number of years ago after Dr. Miller retired, and he is the real deal. I am super picky about health care providers, and this guy is top notch. Really disappointed in the $39 charge for the eye tests that is not appropriately consented by patients. When I called after my appointment questioning where I signed off on that, I was sent my online documents where the very last page states "I understand the importance of these tests" not that I had an option to opt of the tests (which you're not given that option at the time of your appointment anyways). When I asked that's not a consent to add a service though, she said the scheduler should have confirmed that with me over the phone. I guarantee you they did not confirm that with me or I would not be this surprised or upset over the fact. Since services were rendered, I didn't feel it was fair to request a refund but I feel like that charge was very sneaky and the clinic can do a much better job at collecting consent for that charge specifically. read more

I've seen eye doctors yearly for over 40 years and worked in the ophthalmology field for 20 of them, and this was the first time I left an appointment feeling truly discouraged. The doctor told me my eyes were damaged from lack of oxygen due to contact lens wear, but the way it was delivered felt final and hopeless. There was no reassurance, no discussion of next steps -- just a heavy statement. There was also a misunderstanding about how I wear my contacts, and instead of clarifying, he repeated it in a way that felt like blame. I didn't feel comfortable or supported, so I chose not to return. Bedside manner and communication really do matter -- especially when delivering difficult news. read more

Everyone is nice, but they don't disclose that they don't give you your PD. So you go in and pay for extra services you don't necessarily need but then they won't give you the information you need to buy your glasses anywhere else. So make sure you like their selection of frames before your exam otherwise you can't get glasses anywhere else. read more

Terrible service and a total money scam. They lie to cover up their own workers backs when something doesn't get done right. We bought contacts on Monday and paid for $25 rush fee meaning they would arrive in 2 days. It is now friday and they still have not shipped them and they blame everyone else but take accountability for their bad service. Getting my last pair and never coming here again. Work on accountability and stop focusing on how much money you're going to make instead. read more

I've been going to Miller optometry for many years and never have had any problems. I recently was suffering from dry eyes and discussed the possible solutions with Dr. Dosaj, He suggested the IPL procedure where they work on relieving the rosacea and open the plugged ducts that help produce moisture for the eyes. 3 treatments and my eyes feel fantastic. I'm pretty disappointed after being a customer for 6 years, but in 6 years, I've never had a problem that I needed help with until now. For the most part, my needs are pretty basic : annual appointments and ordering before needed. Today, however, my son broke his glasses and had already been fitted for contacts, so I thought it was a super easy fix. We would get him some contacts. Well, we wait for new contacts and a new pair of glasses to come. Nope they didnt want to give him the pair of try ons and instead I wasted my entire morning going to other places who told me my doctor should absolutely give us something temporary well we wait for his stuff to come because thats what they would do for us but since he didnt get his prescription from them they couldn't. It wasn't until I called back for the 3rd time and asked to speak with the doctor that my problem was solved. What do you know they did have something he could use temporarily until his new order of contacts could come. It's not cool making me waste a morning running around for no reason. read more

I was a patient about 3 years ago. Since then, I've had a really hard time finding an optometrist. Dr. Nassar set the bar high. I was very happy with the outcome, didn't have any issue with my contacts. We moved to Orange County almost 3 years ago, and had a hard time ever since. It took my current optometrist 3 months before finding the right fit for my contacts for astigmatism. The staff at Miller Optometry were all so friendly. I was referred to Miller Optometry by the VA because my vision was blurry. I arrived on time and waited in their lobby. However 5 other patients were called before me where I had waited for 1.5 hours. While waiting I could hear several staff members (about 5) laughing and what sounded like they were just playing around. They were very unprofessional. I was frustrated and decided check in with their receptionist and she told me they had lost my records, even though that was my first time there. As a retired military combat veteran they treated me horrible. I do not recommend anyone to use their services. read more

Holy Molly! Where to begin! I had the best experience here at this office. I was swept off my feet right away with how gorgeous, and clean this office looks. Following with how cordial and genuine the entire staff was during my visit. I had a stye for two days before i decided to give this office a call for help. My two options were antibiotics, or getting the stye removed via laser (aka the IPL machine). Surly with my luck, my birthdays was 4 days away, so the IPL was suggested because it would remove my stye within 3 DAYS!!! Crazy, right?! I didn't even have an appointment yet they managed to squeeze me in. Not only that, but the procedure was quick and easy. No more than 10 minutes tops. Dr. Dosaj and his helper Mirany were very reassuring during the process because I was a little nervous at the beginning, but these two made sure they told me everything I needed to know and were ready to resolve all my issues that day. Fast forward day two; very minimal swelling, aching, and a small bump in my eyelid from the stye. Then, BAM! Da three, my eye is brand spanking new. No swelling, no aching, and no bump to be seen. My eye was perfectly fine to apply makeup, and even use my contacts lenses without any doubt for my birthday. In my before picture I could barely open my eye, and in the after picture, 3 days later the condition of my eye is wayyy healthier. Thank you soooo much miller optometry. I don't normally leave reviews but i wanted to send out a fair warning about my experience. Check in was fine. All digital. Wait time was about 10 minutes. Nothing out of the ordinary. Exam Experience was actually pretty good. I liked the optometrist i saw and was fitted for contacts as well as progressive glasses. This is where everything started to go sideways. They didn't have the brand of contacts I'm used to but I'm not married to my brand so i tried their recommendation. Pretty quickly i could tell i didn't like the fit. No biggie they would get me the prescription and i could have them filled elsewhere i thought. (wrong). When to select a new pair of glasses and was quoted a very high out of pocket price (with my insurance coverage applied). About 40% higher then my previous glasses with the same addons. No biggie i thought I'll just get my prescription and get them elsewhere (wrong). Went to pay for the exam and was not given my RX... was told that they would do it digitally. OK i think I'll go home, print them out and take them to get filled... Yeah nope, not on the website they said they would be. I called a few days later (to give them some time) and they emailed me my glass RX but it was not signed (useless). Now a week later i had to call back again to be both my RX signed this time and they still dont have them on the website and im waiting on emails. The issue with the emails is that they are secure emails (good) but the RX link expires in a week (bad). so i will have to call again if i need them again. Overall a waist of my yearly free exam with my insurance. Advise would be to skip these guys unless you want their contact brands or to get glasses from them. If you just want a RX to get your own, avoid. read more
