One of the receptionists told me they had a much bigger selection online if I couldn't find what I was looking for. Since I planned to order online, I asked if she could provide my daughter's pupillary distance (PD). Before knowing whether I was even a patient there, she told me that only my doctor could provide it, or they could measure it if I was purchasing glasses through their office. I explained that Dr. Vu is our doctor and that we've been patients here for years, but she simply said that next time I would have to ask him. What was especially frustrating is that I have EyeMed insurance, and Target Optical is in-network, so of course I wanted to use them. I only planned to order online because of the limited in-store selection. I've worked in optometry for years, and in my experience, measuring a patient's PD is a routine task that opticians perform regularly. The interaction left me feeling disappointed and undervalued as a long-time patient. Because of this experience, I ended up canceling my own appointment that was scheduled for a few days later. I expected much better customer service from a practice I've trusted for years.

My son and I got upset with her; her attitude changed a bit once my son confronted her, but from the moment we arrived, she was incredibly arrogant and rude. I didn't like it at all. I know I'm not the only one who has experienced this it has happened to many people and that is why this place has such bad reviews because of her. Her employers really ought to consider this; if she doesn't like working there or being patient, she shouldn't be working at the front desk.
