I really dislike writing negative reviews especially since I'm a big believer that not everyone has the same experience. However, I feel compelled to warn other people about this practice. My first experience- went in for an eye exam that took a total of 2.5 hours. It was clear from the get go that there is no real process in place as the staff kept going in circles trying to figure out what patient needed what procedure done next. My second experience- called to ask if my contact fittings had arrived because the optometrist explained during my eye exam that because I was a new patient, they need to order me contact samples and I would need to schedule a fitting to ensure that they were the correct fit. I called on week #3 (even though I was told that I would receive a call in 1-2 weeks) and was nonchalantly told that my contacts had arrived and yet had not bothered to give me a call to inform me. My third experience- I went in to pick up my contacts and the staff scrambled to locate them. Once found, they were given to me with no further instruction. I asked the staff member what the next steps were and she said, "what did they tell you when they called you to pick them up?" At that moment, I almost lost my cool, but remained composed and explained to her that I had not received a call but rather had to call in myself to check the status. The optometrist overheard me and quickly offered to do my fitting then and there. Contacts were fine but she suggested I try them for a few days and told me to call back if they fit okay so I could order my yearly supply and use my insurance credit. Final experience- I called twice, left a message and no one got back to me. Called again on a different day to place an order to use my insurance credit only to find out that their office charged my contacts fitting (6 pairs of contacts) to my insurance and so now I nave used up all of my insurance credit for contacts. As you can understand, I was livid at this point because the staff member mentioned that I had the option to pay out of pocket for my fitting instead of it being charged to my insurance. So basically, the staff who ordered my fittings made the choice for me. She mentioned that she would call the insurance to ask if it could be reverted and up to this day, I have yet to receive a call back. I will never return to this practice ever again. Like other reviews have mentioned, the optometrist is nice but the staff is incompetent and disorganized. I really hope the business takes the time to read their negative reviews and do something to improve their business practices. read more

I usually love Focus Vision I used to go to the one in Beaumont but I recently moved. The one closest to me is the Redlands location. This location is the worse location. I'm currently going on my fourth month of waiting for my replacement glasses. On top of that there never open! Even though there hours say open online, you show up and find out it's not open! The Redlands location isnt the best location to go too. One is better off going to the Beaumont or Calimesa location. Or just a different place overall. read more

My husband and I went here for the first time this month. Everyone is super nice and accommodating. The doctor is very thorough and knowledgeable. We ordered a few pairs of glasses and they are perfect. No complaints. They have a pretty good variety to choose from and conveniently located. read more

BEST optometrist and staff in Redlands. New staff came in February and things are so much more efficient. I was helped with glasses and lens choice, I put my order in and 8 days later picked it up. There was no hassle not issues nothing. Not to mention the day I picked up my glasses they were extremely busy, but everyone was polite and helped me promptly. Other reviews are old , I went in in March of 2022 and it was fantastic !!! read more

I have worn glasses and contacts for over 25 years and been to countless optometrists (from small boutique practices, to Costco, all over the country) and never have I experienced such disrespect, lack of care, and completely wrong prescriptions in my life. So, I'm here writing a review to let everyone know this place is not worth doing business with! They first of all got my prescription wrong. I had to wait two weeks to get my glasses and then another two weeks because of the bad prescription! Now I'm trying to get someone on the phone and All I get is a recording so I leave a message and after 2 weeks no phone call. I go in to the office and there's a hand written sign on the door they are closed all day (Monday) due to short staffed! Really??? Then hire somebody!!! People are looking for work all the time!!! read more

The staff are nice but after that it goes south. My prescription is not right and the girl told me it's because I don't have them sitting correctly on my nose. whatever my second pair got sent to wrong office back in February! I still don't have them. Actually should be 1 star. read more

Would not recommend at all. Focus vision is beaumont great service so i decided to try this one in redlands but that was a mistake. I decided to order contacts , they called me to tell me they were in and i could pick them up. When i called back they told me i needed to make an appointment which is not what the message said. I go in for this appointment and the provider is confused on why i was there. She told me she was going to give another brand to try for a week and then i was to call back and let the receptionist know which one i wanted to order. I call back to place the order they gave me the run around saying i needed an appointment again. They told me they would call me back to clarify. 3 days went by and no call so i decided to call once again and was able to place the order. 3-5 weeks went by and no call on contacts being ready. I call today and they said they are ready and that someone tried reaching out on 9/24. Which is funny i have no call from them or any message. Not very happy with the service here and will not be coming here again. read more

This facility is is very disappointing and the staff is very lazy and won't return calls, or do anything to help get your glasses. I waited 10 weeks to get my kids glasses and no one would return info after asking for help every week. Please find another office. I can only visit an optometrist on weekends bc of my job. This is why I chose this place. I gave them my frames for the new lenses. I wanted to order a second set of glasses. So as I'm waiting for my glasses (at this point it's over two weeks) I called to order my second frames. I called three times and was told someone will call me back. No one called. The next day , same story. The third day same story but got a call back. I was told I couldn't order my second set of glasses bc they have to measure. So I said I'll be there Saturday. NO ONE gave me a courtesy call to say they will be closed Saturday. It's an hour round trip. I got there Saturday and they were closed. Next week will be almost a MONTH trying to at least get my new prescription glasses. What a waist of time and effort. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. If I could, I WOULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS!!!! read more
