We were immediately greeted by Zeke as soon as we walked in. Both Joe and Zeke spent over an hour with me trying to help me find the perfect frames. Yes, I am that difficult! I finally decided on a pair and Joe began putting my prescription on the frames! I had a pair of new glasses in less than 15 minutes. They have state of the art technology which is why you can walk out with a new glasses the same day. The were very professional, knowledgeable and personable. I never felt pressured to buy. I was referred to Vision Tecnica by my cousin. I'm so glad I came to Joe and his son Zeke. I am new to wearing glasses and have heard horror stories on how hard and expensive it is to get glasses. I wasn't excited about it at all BUT, I could not have asked for a better experience with them! They really took their time with my sister and I and never did we feel pressured into just choosing just any frame. They spent over an hour with us until we found the right ones! I was greeted with a smile and Joe took his time with me as I selected a pair of frames that I liked. I can be quite indecisive so his patience and willingness to share his knowledge with me is greatly appreciated. I usually have to wait a week or so for my glasses to be ready, but that wasn't the case here. I absolutely agree with the other reviewers--Joe is the best! I needed replacement lenses with my new prescription. I didn't have the time to wait for the turnaround at most places, and I also didn't have much of a budget. After reading the reviews, I talked to Joe. My last set of lenses cost me close to $350. Joe was able to make me a new pair of lenses, complete with anti-glare, scratch resistant coating, in 10 minutes for $100. Well, I'm out $340 bucks to Joe over at this place. He promised me that I'd be getting my money's worth then he TOTALLY screwed me! I had gotten the RX from a Doctor at JCP but didn't want to have the glasses filled there because it was going to be REAL expensive. Joe promised me a better deal. BUT this better deal would only be GOOD if I paid in CASH not credit (my shady antenna should've gone up at that point). By the time I paid the plastic price for these "great" new glasses, the pricetag had escalated to over $340! Then within two days of wearing them I started getting double vision. He claimed it must be the prescription from the doctor. I went back to the doctor and she said the perscription was right, but the GLASSES weren't made right. When I called Joe about this he asked how long it had been, and when I said it had been more than 30 days (cuz it took a loooong time to connect with the doctor due to my work schedule) he said it was too late to do anything about it! What a crock! What a SHAM! Never, NEVER, NEVER trust THIS guy. He promises the world and RIPS U OFF!!! read more
