I needed my glasses in a rush, so instead of returning to LensCrafters, I went to IQ Optical in Encino, as they have very quick turn-around. The exam is a little more expensive and the Dr. is remote while conducting the tests, but I much preferred it as the exam felt more comprehensive and personal. The staff was very friendly and professional, and I received my glasses exactly when they were promised. I will definitely return next time I need new glasses. read more

Repaired my glasses for free even though I did not purchase my glasses form them and did a PERFECT job. It was very easy to make an appointment and they were on time for me. Repairs went very quick and I was not waiting long at all. It is better to make an appointment that way you don't have to wait and you also won't overwhelm the employees. read more

It has been four years so I was due for a new exam. there were lots of nice frames, but I have a new frame I purchased for sunglasses and an older frame that I just love and I'm having refilled with my new prescription. Just googled something in the neighborhood and IQ popped up. I needed the nose guard on my glasses replaced. When I came in, I was greeted and helped right away. Laura did the repair quickly and from what I can see, did a very thorough job making sure that nose guard would never come loose again. The price was VERY reasonable and the staff was so friendly. The folks at IQ Optical were incredibly quick and efficient in filling my 8-year-old son's glasses prescription. They worked with him very delicately and quickly to get us through the fitting process, while also allowing him to try on a lot of different styles. Once he decided, they gave us a discount on a second pair, so he has a backup. The glasses were ready in one day, and they once again worked quickly to make any adjustments he needed. I had been in desperate need of glasses for a couple of weeks. My glasses were scratched and the antiglare coating was smudged and so blurry I could hardly see. I really barely made it home with the condition my glasses were in. I was sincerely scared to drive one more night with current glasses. Thankfully I found IQ Optical. There were able make me a new pair of progress lenses with sun/transition tint. The staff were super helpful.
