I don't normally leave reviews. The experience we had a few weeks ago was awful. We visited here based on the other reviews that seemed great. Perhaps it belonged to regular clients of theirs. The salon is nothing like what the reviews said. Unless you're just easy going have extra money to waste, don't care and want quick service done. The $32 pedicure is not even worth it, its basically the same as the $27 one, just with scrub. We're all entitled to our opinion and I actually find this place very unprofessional. Worst experience going there. I went them for the first time on very busy day. The lady done to me was so tired and she barely did any good on me. Pedicure was horrible not even cleaned my nails and the manicure was not good too and the owner I don't know weather she is owner or not she was not nice at all . Funds are tight so I just wanted to have someone fix up my ugly toenails. Little did I know I would get a great massage at the same time. Best chairs ever! I loved this place! I went with my mom for a mani/pedi after reading the reviews on here, and I was not dissapointed! The massage chairs were amazing, as were the mani pedis! Friendly staff! My mom even commented how quick we were in and out, though I do not get mani pedis were often so I wasnt aware. The salon was extremely busy, but everyone was getting the same awesome service! I didn't let mine sit long enough and messed up two fingers, but even with that both my toes and fingers are still going strong more than a week later! As everyone else commented, the free gifts are great! We each spent $36 plus tip (which to me is really cheap for both manicure and pedicure of this quality!) I decided to review after I had been twice. I went 2/12 ( right around Valentine's day rush). I got my usual pedicure, fullset and waxing ( face). They are attentive when you walk in ( which is a big deal to me) , they provide refreshments which is a nice touch and the salon is CLEAN. I would defintely recommend this nail salon to everyone. Came here based on reviews.. maybe just my luck. The ladies in here look very fake and mean. It was very noisy in the salon, made me I feel like I was at the seafood market fighting for a shrimp. Very upset with the service. I went their for pedicure and manicure. I had appointment and i told them that I want color french nail .As per request she did color french but with liquid gel nail polish. I told her that i want acrylic tip and powder gel on top so it will protect my nail from breaking fir at-least 3 weeks. But she didn't listen and did whatever she likes. I used to love coming here- most of the girls are really good and you can't beat the prices! There is one older woman (I don't know her name nor would i write it) but I am so disappointed. I've had her twice now- BOTH times I've left with all of my fingers bloody, my nails completely broken and destroyed, and one filed so far down that it's only hanging on by a piece of skin. Two days later and my fingers are still super sore, scabbed and my nails look horrible. I went in with long, rounded, strong, healthy nails (I'm lucky to have nice natural nails) and left with short, square (because she broke every single one off), misshaped nails and bloody fingers. She did not leave the acetone in long enough and just filed the gel off which is a huge DONT. This led to my nails being super thing and destroyed- and extremely sore. I will not be returning in Pure fear that I will get this woman again. I would rather pay more money leaving happy with no bloody fingers. She is extremely rough does not have patience to be doing nails! I'm disappointed that I have to pay to get my nails redone for the third time in two weeks- they usually last me about 3 weeks each time! read more

I have been going to VIP nails for a few years now and haven't been disappointed. This is a wonderful place to get your nails done and to take care of your waxing needs. Their gel manicures are the best. All the nail techs who have done my nails are nice and friendly and do an excellent job and they take their time treating each nail to make it look healthier and perfect with the polish. Their pedicure chairs are very comfortable and there are many pedicure options to choose from. They have a good selection of nail polish and they offer you soda and candy. I also get my eyebrows waxed here and they do a very good job. At the end, you are welcome to get a free gift if you spend about $15 or more and it is either lotion or hair care products. They are busy a lot of times so there may be a wait but this is a testament that a lot of people like this place! Come find out for yourself. read more

I'll just start by saying I won't return to VIP Nails. A friend and I went there during our lunch break today. She got a pedicure and was very happy with it. I got a full set of gel nails and am not happy with it. To start with, the nail tech took care of my cuticles by filing them down with the mechanical file/grinder tool - without pushing them back. So now my cuticles are inflamed and one of them is scabby (ew!). Then when attaching the tips she super-glued my skin (on every finger) to the nail, which she then had to tear apart to file. She knew when she was over-filing my nail beds that she was going too deep because I couldn't help myself from pulling my hands back a couple of times (and because I told her it hurt). I probably should have told her to stop and just left, but my friend had been there before for polish changes and pedicures and had never had a probem. Now that I've left and have had the chance to examine my nails more closely, I've noticed that on the underside of the nails I have gaps between the artificial tip and my natural nails - she didn't fill the gaps in! So now I'm going to have to go somewhere else to have them fix it otherwise I'm going to have issues with moisture/dirt getting between the nail tip and my natural nails! I wish I'd noticed this before I'd left. It was a waste of $50 and I'm going to have to pay someone to fix her mistakes. Again, my friend was happy with her pedicure but this is not the place to go to for gels. read more

This place is awesme! They do an extremely detailed job and I am always impressed. Everyone there is welcoming and hospitable. I have had acrylic, gel, and regular nails done there and always leave happy. I highly recommend going here, it's by far the best nail salon in the area. The salon is clean, neat, comfortable; they offer you refreshments, play nice music, and all are very nice. Tammy used such little acrylic that several of my nails cracked (i dont do manual labor for work), the acrylic was lifting on the second day on multiple nails, I got a refill after a week and two days.***updated review one month later*** after having such a horrible experience, management reached out and suggested I come back and see Linda so she could fix my nails free of charge. She was so great-she's such a sweetheart, very professional, didn't cut me, it was very neat and precise, and she listened to all my suggestions and requests. I got a facial there a few months ago and it was HORRIBLE. Some kind of Chinese weird mask gel thing - totally strange. I've been going to salons for over 5 years and go every other month to get facials and thought I'd cut back and save some money- bad idea! Exactly what I needed! Relaxing atmosphere, kind employees, clean salon and and nail tools are packaged for individual one time use. I called ahead and came in within the hour. Got a basic mani and pedi with paraffin wax treatment in 1 1/2 hours ($60 + tip). Such a deal! Mimi was sweet and did an excellent job. She was efficient but not rushed. She greeted me with a beverage and chocolate bar and I got a new lip gloss (my choice from two baskets full of goodies) when I left. This mama of four traveling for work felt pampered for sure. They have raised their prices recently (after the renovations) but I still love going there every month. The pedicure is amazing, they spend 15 minutes just massaging your feet and thighs. This is one of the reasons why I always go back even though I live 20 minutes away. The only thing I dislike is the women tend to speak in their native language right after you say something, I feel like they are speaking about me and I've experienced this several times. Makes me a little uncomfortable but apart from that, love it. read more

Worst place I've ever been. My nails weren't even and when I got my gel nails off, they literally seemed like they didn't care how I felt. It hurt and burned without being careful about it. After I ask for a manicure, they did such a crappy job that it came off partially. Since I got my gel nails in Korea, they didn't know what product they used which I understand. But they had the guts to say that things like I don't even know what kind of things they use in your country and start talking in Vietnamese about it. Legit. Are you serious. At the end, I paid with card and normally in other shops, they have a tip bar so I can write tip so I thought I can tip them through that and I haven't been to a nail shop before, so I thought $2 would be okay and felt like it was right since they didn't even care for me or did a good job, but they just waved to the door and sent me off. It was so rude that I couldn't even believe I had to pay $18 for this whole service. When I got home, I look at my nails and little air nail bubbles were in all of my nails. If I knew they were going to this, I rather done it at home. Horrible experience and worst customer service. read more

This is the best nail salon I've been to in a long time. I've been searching for my monthly nail salon and I've now finally found it! I went her last weekend and my mani/pedi is still fully in tact! First of all, when you're seated they offer you a drink and snack (water/soda/candy), which is a nice touch! The massage chairs are very comfortable and the prices are fantastic! $36 for a mani/pedi, best price I've found around here for the best mani/pedi I've had around here. I always recommend this place to anyone looking for a manicure or pedicure. I definitely love the extra amenities - free chocolate and soda or bottled water, a take home spa gift like lotion or bath oil. Sometimes when it's a little busy they don't get around to that or the nice lotion-y hand massage during a manicure, but I visited once 10 minutes to closing, and they were clearly getting ready to leave since no one else was there. One girl just took her coat off and got to work, and I got a great manicure even though she was eager to go home (and yes I made sure to tip very well for making her stay late). I went for a manicure over the weekend. The place is okay but services is very bad. I got a manicure for a tech name is Thuy or Thy (I think). She does a very bad job and try to move on to another customer very quickly. I don't mind quick, but it was just a very bad job overall. NEVER will I think about going back to this place again. I used to go here many, many years ago and stopped becuase I was pregnant and the fumes were so strong. I came back recently after finding they were the only salon open on the fourth of July. They have remodeled the salon, fumes are no longer an issue and the new massage chairs are awesome. Also the product is excellent, my pedicure was still in place after more than 3 weeks with no chips! I just went back today and everything was great again. The pedicures are $25 and take about 45 minutes. I think its a really good deal. This is going to be my new regular salon (again!). read more

She took her time and my nails look better than in a long time!!!! I will be going back again and again!
