To the manager/owner, your business here is new but I'm local to the area for decades. I'd LOVE to see how long your business sticks around and how well it does after being extremely unprofessional and rude to customers. After getting a horrible service, when I went there again to get it fixed, a nail technician, an Asian lady, told me that's exactly how they do manicure and there's nothing needs fixing. She definitely needs some training on basic manners on how to talk to people politely and then some training on how to deal with customers in a service industry! There was nowhere in the e-gift card email I received that stated this policy. I find the concept of a gift card that expires to be ridiculous in the first place (they already got the money from the person who gifted it to me!) nonetheless with zero disclosure regarding the 1 year policy in the email to the gift recipient (it is entirely unhelpful if only the individual purchasing the gift card is told the policy). I went for a manicure and pedicure. They do not have the pedicure chairs, and what they have looks pretty but is nowhere near as relaxing. The water is in a vessel above a little table, and honestly, it's not relaxing. I felt I was going to knock it over or whatever, so I never fully relaxed. While I was getting my less-than-relaxing pedicure, another nail tech took a Facetime call on speaker nearby. Most places, especially day spas, have a no-phones policy, but this was an employee. The nice tech doing my nails asked the receptionist to get her to go elsewhere; she did, but it was awkward. I shouldn't have to tell spa employees that speaker phones are rude in almost all circumstances, but at work, absolutely not. I wanted to like this place and would have tried a massage there, but the speakerphone killed it. read more

Came here for my usual nail tech, I can't find anyone else up here who can really do nails so wherever she goes, I'm going as long as I'm still in NoVa. She does a phenomenal job. My nails lasted over 4 weeks while I was in Thailand for my birthday trip. This nail salon/ Day spa is super cute, it's located by Reston station next to all the newly build homes and apartments. I will try the hair or massage next time I come in. I hope they end up getting a lash extension tech. They use non-toxic and and gorgeous gels from South Korea. I searched nova for a highly rated spa and this place came up. Almost every review I read was positive so I was pretty hopeful! I got there, was greeted and instantly offered a refreshment. Reception was personable and attentive. Full disclosure, it's been a few years since I got my last facial and I have pretty sensitive skin, so I was a little nervous. Donna did an excellent job talking me through all the steps of my facial and recommended a service slightly different than what I had originally booked as that better fit my skincare needs. I wanted to wait a full 24 hours to see how my skin would react, and it is glowing! I was looking for a nail salon that was going to give me a luxury experience and that is exactly how I felt. The place is beautiful inside, restrooms are immaculate, and it smells wonderful in there, like a gentle aromatherapy going on. They do NOT rush here so if your looking for a speedy service, this isn't the place. But I enjoyed that they take their time and when it comes to the polishing, are very meticulous. The manager is very hands on, and checks in on your service. They're incredibly flexible and will try to do whatever they can in the time that they have. My daughter and I got facials here today and it was a wonderful experience. The spa is clean, well appointed and we were offered beverages when we arrived. My daughter had a great experience with Jesse. My daughter's skin was glowing and felt plump and she said she had the most relaxing scalp/shoulder massage. My facial was with Donna who was very knowledgeable and made me feel very relaxed. She explained all the treatments and gave me tips on what I can do to keep my aging skin beautiful.
