I just visited this location yesterday and was really impressed with their COVID compliance standards and their commitment to keep everyone safe! MJ technicians greeted me at the door outside, checked my temperature and made me put on hand sanitizer. They require masks while inside. There is plexi glass up in every two pedi seats and every manicure station. There is also plexiglass separating the hand washing station. The nail technician that worked on my nails in the photo attached, wore a mask and a full face cover. There were only 2 other people there with me who were properly spaced out. I felt really safe and like MJ was going above and beyond for the safety of their staff and their clients. ***Updated photo as the gel nail manicure I recieved started peeling this morning. Not even 48 hours since I had them done.***
Thank you MJ nail for getting my nails done for my proposal. The color and the ring compliments each other so well! I was a little late to the appointment due to traffic but they understood the situation and welcomed me with a big smile. Staff are really nice and friendly. And the place was so clean and followed the COVID protocols (temperature check, mask, and dividers). They made me so comfortable and relaxed during the appointment! I'll be back soon and thanks again!
Listen, this is my favorite nail salon hands down. Warning, it's by appointment only and I love that! No waiting. It's very clean and I love that too! You know how you go into many nail salons and it just looks so unorganized with all the products stacked up all over the place and random plastic containers? Not here. As soon as you come in the decor, the ambiance and the feeling exudes class and relaxation. They are constantly cleaning the surfaces of everything and they still wear their masks. Clients are not required to wear masks. They don't do all of that unnecessary talking. Instead, they just focus on your nails and allow you to relax. I love that! And my nails? They ALWAYS look amazing!
Decided to check this place out since Yelpers have been scoring them the perfect 5. Attentive service as soon as you walk into the space. Relaxing atmosphere,drinks and snacks are available. I picked the pedi spa and the attendant showed me a card where I can pick from the different scents of soak and lotion to be used. The price was $55. This would be high compared to the going rate. What you can be sure of is the cleanliness. I like the fact that they have disposable plastic liners for the tub per client. Come and try for yourself.
I truly think Ellen is a wizard. She took my super short natural nails, which had all broken recently, and gave me the most beautiful full set stiletto nails I've ever had done! They're so thin and natural just like I like them. The staff here is always so wonderful. Thank you Donna and Ellen especially for always being so kind and attentive to detail, the staff at MJ are amazing at what they do
More like a 2.5, I think. My daughter and I got traditional (not gel) spa mani/pedi services on Wednesday. This is what it looks like 2 days later. Even if it's not gel, it should last more than 2 days, especially since we paid $170 plus another $40 for tips.
I had a good experience here. Parking looks limited but I did not have any issues finding a space right in front of the shop. I called ahead but did not have a pre-scheduled appointment. They told me I could come in twenty minutes. I got there and was greeted with warm and friendly service and had my services verified with me. That means they remembered that I called and listened to what I said over the phone. In the front area they had tea, coffee, and a few treats. I was escorted back to the pedicure section and handed the gel color swatches. This was great because I've been to places where "pick a color" was being yelled at me by a nonchalant technician that's fully engaged in a nail service. I came in on a Saturday mid-afternoon so I was expecting a delay. I was able to begin my services as soon as I got there which I truly appreciate. That tells me the timing of 20 minutes that they provided over the phone was accurate. Refreshing! I was offered a beverage and I chose tea. The place was very clean and neat. There was no yelling or kids running around. They used an insert sleeve for the pedicure bowl which I think is great to ensure cleanliness. On to the services, I had to explain what I wanted a couple times, even changed the color I wanted for a pedicure, and had issues with the gel curing process on my toes. Through all of that she remained friendly, patient, and understanding. This I am truly grateful for because amazing customer service is what maintains a large customer base. My only complaints are that (1) matte polish still comes out shiny (see pic) and (2) the curing gel lamp used for pedicures is too big and heavy for pedicures. It is uncomfortable since its pressed up against your skin while you wait, also I had to lift/hold my leg up and my toes flat which made it challenging for me to relax during the process. At first, I thought it was because they didn't have the smaller gelish curing lamp (the one with no bottom), but then she used that for my nails?? So my recommendation is that the smaller lamp also be used for gel pedicures. I didn't get a chance to check out the facilities more or get a full set so I cannot report on that. I would return to try other services.
This place is the Gold Standard of nail salons!!! I called to make appointment for myself and a friend. I wanted a classic pedicure and my friend wanted a gel manicure. We arrived for our appointment on a Saturday at 5pm. The salon is beautiful and clean with a sleek modern interior. Their color wall is elegant and they had plenty of summer neon colors to choose from! Since I got a pedicure, I loved that this place has the bowl liners. Healthy and clean! And they have the BEST massage chairs!!! My back felt amazing during my pedicure! The girls who work there are Sweet and LOVELY and engage in conversation with you. I didn't once hear them talking to one another in a different language which I VERY much appreciate!!! I have absolutely nothing against someone speaking in their language to communicate for a quick minute, but most salons just drone on with endless chatter that is rude and annoying to customers- but NOT this nail spa!!! The atmosphere was quiet and tranquil (with soft background music) with very little chit chat. My toes looked amazing when I was done! Bright summer neon pink for me! Many, many thanks!! My friend also enjoyed her gel manicure and said the attention to detail was fantastic!! I'll definitely be back to this nail spa! Just know that this salon is Appointment ONLY!!! Thank you ladies!
I've been to a few different nail salons since moving to the area and this one by far has been the best! I did a Gel Manicure and the MJ Gel Pedicure My technician did an incredible job ensuring that every single nail was done perfectly. I always tend to get colors that take three coats and have to make sure to ask because many places try not to do more than two. She did three coats without me even having to ask and checked everything 2-3 times to make sure all of my nails were perfect! I also did a gel pedicure and that was incredible! The salon also has incredible practices in place for COVID. Appointments are required and they check your temp before going in. I called two hours before and they were able to take me no problem!

Clean, calm, and serene experience. I had the basic pedicure that was done by Jennie. She took her time, which is always appreciated. She was super gentle and operated with precision, which I absolutely value. Things to notate and are nice to know are: they operate by appointment only. Additionally, each seat has dividers, giving an extra layer of protection for all these viruses going rampant during this winter season, which is a plus. And everyone has a mask on. They have multiple, luxurious options for pedicures with the basic option starting at $40. Great first experience here! read more

Stopped by for a gel manicure and spa pedicure during my day off and so glad I did. I had a great experience with Ellen (she is an older Korean lady that had a very caring auntie vibe) who made sure I was comfortable the entire time (I'm currently pregnant). I'm very happy with my nails and loved the service/attentiveness. I will be back :) read more

Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. This has to be one of the worst nail jobs I've ever gotten done in my entire life. Literally started peeling off within a couple hours. On top of that overly expensive for no reason, 100$ for a manicure and pedicure is completely absurd. read more

Tanny did a fabulous job with my gel mani pedi! She was very meticulous and made sure I was okay with the shape of my nails, the color of the polish, etc. The salon itself was also very cute and clean. She did take a bit of time, but I'd rather wait longer to get a good result. read more
I needed a mani/ pedi desperately and decided to try this place. It's absolutely beautiful and clean inside. They are incredibly sanitary and use the foot bath protectors. She was very thorough and took her time to make sure my nails were perfect. Good find! Gel mani and normal pedi was $70. read more

Initially came for a walk-in gel manicure, but was advised to do classic manicure due to my damaged and brittle nails. I really appreciated how Amy was honest about the condition of my nails. My hands and nails are terribly dry and my cuticles are always messy, but Amy cleaned them up so well! She also painted on a coat of treatment. The entire staff was just great and offered us tea and coffee. The place is very clean and the air purifiers they have in the shop make it less suffocating to be in a nail salon. Will be back! Came in for a gel mani/pedi and was not disappointed. The salon is super clean and spotless and the owner was taking extra precautions to ensure safety. Masks were worn at all times and they have plastic screens dividing the customer from the technician. The service was really good, my nails look the best they have since March of last year. It took about 2 hours to get everything done and was worth the cost ($95) in my opinion. Will come back again! read more

I previously had an amazing review for the spa but discontinued coming because My nails kept chipping within less than a week every single time. I thought I would give them one more chance almost a year later. The staff is so very kind but I have never had my nails painted so poorly before. It has not even been 5 days so it hasn't grown out but the sides of my nail were completely missed. It's not just on one nail it's on several. The tips of the nail were also not painted as well... I feel as if there was a lack of care. If it were only one nail I would not have cared but it's almost all of them. I Am only leaving 2 stars bc the owner is so kind. ... I sadly won't return. read more

Five stars, for sure. I went there as a walk because another nail salon had an hour wait. Reviews say it's pricey and it's true BUT the money is worth it. Manicure is 15$ regular. Pedicure is 30$. I got the gel nails which added another 25$ to my total but again, WORTH IT. Cindy is a wonderfully patient manicurist. She never complained about how short or fine my nails were and did a wonderful job with them. Cleanliness was amazing, they had covers for the pedicure tubs and even their tools were in separate sterilized bags, opened with each new customer. I even accidentally hit my thumb and another employee came to help Cindy so she could finish my nails in a timely fashion. All the employees were friendly and provided refreshingly sweet smiles! first timer at this place. was greeted at the door, temp checked and sanitized hands before entering. the place is super clean and nice. all tools are sterilized from what i saw. My nail tech was ellen and she is super sweet and kind. she was gentle with my hands & nails. took her time & made sure there was no little screw up. this place gained a customer. i absolutely love my gel mani. read more
It's been almost a year since I started coming to this nail salon and I still love their service; so much that I had to come back with another great review. My go to person is Ellen. She's been doing my nails since my first visit, roughly about 8 months ago. My first time going to MJ Nails, I walked in with fake nails because my real nails were too short and damaged, courtesy of a previous nail salon who did an awful job. Almost a year later, I now go in for gel manicures because I no longer need fake nails. I strongly feel that Ellen at MJ Nails is the reason why my natural nails are now long and healthy. I went in yesterday for an appointment and tried a new design on two fingers. Ellen did an amazing job as she always does. She's the definition of an artist. I'll never go to another nail salon. read more
I think I have finally found my pedicure spot. Although I have a goto salon for manicures, they don't do the best job at pedicures so I'm glad my friend referred me here. Today my technician was Christy (or Christine) and she was very nice. She suggested a darker red color for the fall weather and I'm glad she did. There were maybe 4-5 techs and the salon was very clean. I liked the simple neutral decor and that they had tea, coffee, water, and snacks available. Very happy with my toes! read more

MJ nails has officially become my nail care home. I have never really cared about keeping up with my nails until I happened to try it out last year and found my gel manicure lasting for 4+ weeks! $40 for gel manicures and so worth it with how long they last and how pretty and clean your nails stay. They are super clean and don't over do it with the cuticles. They are also the nicest people ever! Super pleasant, professional and actually gives you suggestions like you've been friends for a long time. I've been going there since, plan on using them for my wedding and can't believe I haven't left a review yet. Make sure you check them out! read more

Always a pleasant visit! My go to girl is Donna who is very patient with me and gentle with my hands since I have very sensitive skin. She always gives me great suggestions on nail colors and very creative as well. I will recommend this place to everyone! read more

This place is such a good find - Ellen did an amazing job with my nails! On my pedicure she was very gentle yet, got all the dead skin off my feet which doesn't always happen at other places. She really took the time to make sure I agreed with what she was doing every step of the way. She even helped pick out the sparkle colors. The space is also very clean and they are following covid/ mask protocol which is an added bonus. If you're looking for a nail salon, I would highly recommend them! I'll definitely stop by again! read more
