This is where I've always gotten my nails done but this last time I went I was REALLY disappointed. It seems like they got upset over the fact that I wanted regular polish rather than gel. They make it seem like it's mandatory to get gel ($$$$). Because of that, I felt like the lady chose the cheapest polish they had. Why do I say that? Well because the clear coat that they usually put over the nail polish started peeling off 4 days later. You can also tell in the pictures that the color is chipping on the top. I understand that regular nail polish won't last as long as gel but 4 days???? That's crazy to me. Anyway, I do not think I will be returning. read more

I am a perfectionist, but I understand some nail places are not comfortable doing more intricate designs and styles. However, I asked, if they were able to do this.. I showed them two different pictures as well to choose from. They happily said they could do it. At first, I thought it was going well, but after they put my nail under the gel lamp with pink, purple and orange residue from making the designs, I was worried. I asked multiple times to fix this or fill in that. Once done, I asked them to clean up the colors that were showing on the nail and cuticle. All the did was "file it" briefly and put lotion on. I am no professional artist, but with gel, there usually is a brief second where they inspect and wipe over the nail with remover to make sure it is well. After $80 spent, and 2 hours sat in a chair I am very bothered. I dislike when I spend a lot of money for an outcome I could've done myself. read more

I had a facial with Gina and it was truly the BEST facial I've ever received. It was totally customized to my skin and she paid so much attention to detail. There wasn't a subtle change in my skin, the difference was HUGE! I came out of the appointment with new skin. She even checked up on the status of my skin a couple days later. She really really cares about the quality of her work and that her clients see an improvement in real time. The results lasted for several weeks with the proper home care. Went in for a gel manicure then had to switch to a regular, because the technician I received created multiple different shapes on my hand, even after asking her to please choose one shape (either rounded or squared). I initially asked for a pointed tip, because my nails were finally long enough to do this shape. They sent someone over to fix her mistakes, but by that time, my nails had become too short from the previous technicians attempt of fixing the shape on my nails. When I thought it couldn't possibly get worse, the other technician could also not file a nail evenly and her polish skills were even worse. It looks like I had my child paint my nails. Highly suggest to find another place. So disappointed, because I came here due to the great reviews. read more

I had such a fantastic experience at Westone nail and spa today :) made a spur of the moment decision to go with my 6 year old to get our nails done for Christmas. They had availability for us within 15 mins. I definitely appreciated how nice and clean it was inside. I opted to get gel pedicure and full set. My daughter got her hands and toes done. I really appreciated the attention to detail. I was definitely expecting to pay over $200 because normally for just myself it's $170. Our total came out to $145. Wow what great pricing. And this is literally with the fact that they also removed gel polish I already had on. I got one of their most expensive pedicures. The guy who did my nails is named Jay and I will definitely be back. It's really hard for me to find a nail salon I like in this area because most places are good at one thing but don't have great shaping skills and I am very particular. After coming here in the past and being happy, I decided to come back. I came in for a full and pedicure. The pedicure was PERFECT, absolutely no complaints there. On the other hand, my fill is an absolute mess. I told the nail tech several times that the nails were not straight as asked her to file them. Instead she would buff them and do other things rather than fix the sloped nail. Square nails should not be sloped! It should be straight. I'm frustrated because it is literally six of my nails. Clearly they need to work in their nail shaping because this is a disaster. On top of that, she cut two separate fingers and didn't apologize or even acknowledge it. Definitely will not be returning for any future nail services and would recommend to stay away if you care about the shape of your nail at all. read more

She's spearheading a dramatic makeover involving new pedi chairs, new mani stations, fresh paint, and more. They are also offering organic manis and pedis at a great price. I think most of the makeover is complete, so if you haven't been in a while, check it out. This was my first time visiting Westone Nails and I came with a friend to celebrate our birthdays. The only minor issue was the timing of our appointments. Despite getting the same treatments, she finished a good 30 minutes before I did. We also got started a little late, but not a huge deal. I think they were running behind due to all of the renovation craziness, so I would guess this isn't a regular occurrence. I would definitely try them out again when I'm in the area! BEWARE!! My friend and I went for a spa day and expected this place to be good because of the reviews. I decided to go with the spa pedicure for $45 thinking it would be more relaxing with extra massaging, but instead she slapped some cream on my legs and wrapped them in old warm towels. Then when she was trimming my toenails she cut my big toe until it was bleeding. My toe still hurts two days later. It looks like a child painted my nails, it's a very messy job.
