I usually like to converse during my massage as it helps me to relax. She was also texting and only used one hand to rub my legs. Upon leaving, the only thing she was interested in was counting my tip money immediately. Since my job as a limousine driver requires a lot of sitting down, I also asked for the glutes to be massaged. The last massage I had a week ago (at another business) didn't do massage. It was a body rub with no pressure whatsoever. I needed pressure applied to my body and Coco delivered on this with precision and know how. The first 40 minutes or so I was covered and massaged through thin sheet. The sheets DID NOT smell of mildew like other places I have visited. The sheets were fresh and clean. Coco worked out the kinks in my muscles, but this was just the preliminaries. When the preliminaries were over, the sheet was moved down to my buttocks. Oil and a mix of lotion was rubbed into Coco hands before massaging my back. Coco then worked my shoulders. As instructed by me, Coco worked on my Frozen Shoulder and Arm more than my other shoulder. Coco worked on my neck and back with the same amount of care she gave me frozen shoulder. All of this steady pressure Coco was providing, is highly appreciated and extremely delightful. How I did not fall asleep during my massage is beyond me, but I enjoyed every waking moment of the massage. Coco checked on me to make sure my massage is copacetic. Since I did not wish to talk during my massage, I gave Coco a thumbs up sign. She liked this and laughed. A pleasing sound. I could hear some other men and woman getting massages, but like me, they did not wish to talk unless need be. When chitchat was in session, it kept to a minimal. *The music selection unfortunately is very limited. The same song(s) get repeated over and over again. I highly recommend updating the musical library like the new store owner has with the store* Coco as instructed spent more time on my gluteus maximus and thighs. Coco informed me that my left side buttock and thigh were extremely stiffer than the right side. This explains why sitting this past week was much more uncomfortable than weeks prior. The past few times I have been stomach massaged by Coco or Jennifer, I knew the next day my bowels would be cleaned out. A very pleasant bonus after a monumental massage. I decided I would get ten minutes extra add-on to my massage. The foot massage and light body massage to end the session was exquisite. Coco let me know the session was over and I thanked her. As soon as I walked in, the masseuse immediately tried to upsell me to a deep tissue massage for an additional $15, insisting that the Swedish massage would be too light and not firm enough. Despite my previous experiences with Swedish massages being both firm and gentle, she continued to pressure me into paying more. She even called her manager to upsell the deep tissue service. Reluctantly, I agreed to proceed with the Swedish massage I had initially booked. The massage room itself was dark, dingy, and unwelcoming. Once the massage started, it was clear that she was merely rubbing my back without any real technique or pressure. When I inquired if this was how the entire massage would be, she confirmed it. Frustrated, I agreed to pay the extra $15 for a deep tissue massage. To make matters worse, the massage was repeatedly interrupted. Her manager barged in at least twice, yelling at her in Chinese, which was extremely unprofessional and unsettling. At one point, the masseuse even left the room because she felt hot, only to return a few minutes later. Despite my specific requests to focus on my feet, ankles, upper back, and shoulders, she spent 60 minutes solely on my back. The final straw came when her manager rudely interrupted us again, accusing me of only booking a 60-minute massage and demanding the session end immediately. Even though the masseuse had initially confirmed a 90-minute session, the manager insisted it was my mistake and refused to complete the massage. We argued for 10 minutes, but she was adamant that the session had to stop, leaving my massage unfinished and my pain points untouched. Despite telling her I was an angry customer she didn't do anything to make me feel better but offered free 15 mins for next time. Unfortunately I will never be returning here and would advise you all to steer away. This was supposed to be a relaxing experience 3 week postpartum, but I left feeling furious, frustrated, and more stressed than before. They lied and said it was them. They took him into start a massage, I continued to call him to let him know he was in the wrong place. He finally realized it, stopped the massage and got up to leave. He paid them for a full hour even though he was only there for less than 30 minutes. Then they had the audacity to ask for a tip. Apparently they poach clients all the time. Very disappointing business practice. Thai Healing Arts is excellent and right next door. Go there instead.
