My friend surprised me with a massage for my birthday. I was delighted when I found out it was with Abby at Touch. I haven't gotten a massage with Abby since she has moved into her new location. I've been meaning to book another massage with Abby since my first experience was wonderful. With her covid protocols in place, I felt comfortable and safe enough to get a massage there. Both you and the masseuse are required to have your mask on at all times until you are face down in the head rest. I received the 60 min Swedish massage along with the hot stone add on and a scalp massage. All of it felt so relaxing and I think I fell in and out of sleep throughout the entire treatment. I had a prenatal massage with Tracey and it was wonderful! The office is located in the Gum Spring Library building. Plenty of parking which is a perk. It's a smaller office space but once you enter it's decorated nicely! Not an office vibe at all. The massage room itself was impressive. The room is spacious and not crammed. The wall art, decor and sconces were all nicely done! I did the 90 minute prenatal massage. Tracey made sure the pressure was right and that I was comfortable. I have a lot of lower back pain from being 33 weeks pregnant. She paid special attention to that area. I could feel my joints opening up. She definitely can put on the pressure, in a good way! I normally opt for softer massages but I know I needed my tension to be worked out. They follow covid procedure and I felt completely safe as well. One recommendation would be to offer water to guests upon arrival! And when they're leaving. I will definitely go back and visit Tracey! I am so glad my husband found this place. Well, here I am for my 9am massage standing at a locked door and closed business. Abby tried changing my appointment within an hour of when it was scheduled and I was unavailable to confirm that was fine. She took it upon herself to assume it could be changed which was not the case. So, I arrived to a dark office. No answer to my texts of phone calls until 9:05am when Abby finally called and said she was still 15min away. At that point she told me "things come up" and she "didn't owe me an explanation". I have been removed from her client list, which, honestly, I couldn't care less. An absolutely horrible way to conduct business. With so many massage locations this is how you lose clients. This is my second time having a problem with Abby. The first time, she was trying to text me around 11pm the night before my appointment, which is an unacceptable to communicate with clients. When I booked (weeks in advance) I requested an earlier time then was listed on the website. She didn't bother to communicate that she couldn't accommodate the requested time until said 11pm text the night before a 10am massage the next day. At that point I'd obviously assumed it wasn't possible, but clients shouldn't be left in the dark for weeks on end. Her way of communicating is a disgrace. The one massage I had with her was "fine". Nothing noteworthy compared to others I've had. Dealing with her lack of acceptable business practices isn't worth your effort. Find somewhere else to give business to. read more

I have seen Abby many times over the last few years. She's my favorite massage therapist in the area. She not only soothes me, she helps my body heal. I have some damaged bits and most of those are associate with abuse, so there is also PTSD attached. Abby understands that is my situation and has always been so incredibly nurturing, compassionate, and kind. I feel safe with her and that is important for my ability to relax. Abby knows where to go on my body, she listens to her intuition, as well as my body. She pays attention to what my body needs in that moment and adjusts her plan of action accordingly. She can go incredibly deep to the point I have to tell her it's too far (my muscles are INCREDIBLY messed up) and she immediately pulls back from that intensity. There are definitely times that intensity is needed, wanted, and I can let it help me heal. I appreciate that she immediately moderates her motion and depth. If you've never had an Indian head massage...get it! :) It's such a delight. I leave her house looking like I haven't washed my hair in years lol. But omg! It feeeeeels soooooooooo good!! Haven't slept in ten days because of leg pain. It is a small price to pay you are making a baby. But still, Momma needed the pain to go away! A prenatal massage was much needed. Abby asked me a lot of questions to understand where I felt the pain and also took time to understand the history of my pregnancy. When my massage started, I realized I was knotted up more than I realized. It was evident from the relief I was getting as she worked into my back and legs.
