Barely rubbed-nothing deep tissue about this massage. She kept whipping the sheet off and on abruptly. The oil she used was cold. She left two more times to get Luke warm wet towels to wipe off the excess oil. She set a 90 minute timer when she started (left those six times), then when it went off, she stopped abruptly and said, "okay we are done", then she walked out. Don't waste your time or money here. I wanted to stop payment on my card payment but I thought that would be unethical. This place is horrible!!!!!

She didn't explain what products / treatments she was going to perform and it overall was not a relaxing experience. The massage was 'okay'. It felt like someone just rubbing oil on you. The pressure was kind of weak. I felt awkward bringing it up more than once. After we redeemed our gift card, there was an issue with gratuity. When we were gifted this a few years back, our friends mentioned they had added 20% tip. I believe the price of the massage went up, which makes sense. However, the front desk person made it seem like prices haven't changed and it was odd that the tip was so little. It would have been nice if they were just honest with why the top was much less now, which is probably because the price of the massage went up. I would probably check out another place.

My experienced with Dr. Su was like no other chiropractic experience I've had before. He intertwines his extensive education with Chinese medicine. I was able to actually move my neck when he was done with me. I trusted him and his techniques involving scraping, needling and cupping. I literally thought I was going to walk in and get the basic adjustment, but he really took it to the next level with his techniques and knowledge on pain. To top it all off, he was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. It's so hard to find any Dr. like Him. He educated me on ways to strengthen my back and posture in kind and informative ways. He didn't just say "go work out". It's been almost 10 hours since my visit and I am already able to move without sharp pains, and feel 10 times better than when I walked in. He's magic! Allow me to start off by stating how lucky I am to have found Holly and Shannan. I have had a hip replacement and although it went well I could never shake the chronic groin pain I had that had slowly taken away my quality of life. Holly blew me away with her ability to do what other doctors have not "Diagnose my PAIN and tell me how to treat it". Holly's highly detailed knowledge and explanation of the body and how the muscles interacted to give me the pain I was feeling has allowed me to feel confident in stating that I will be a life long client. Holly and Shannan worked on me with such precision and explained everything they were doing. The techniques used by this pair were like no other massage I've ever had. They isolated and manipulated every muscle need to relieve my pain. I have a goal of beating my 17 year old son in a sprint race and I truly believe with the help of Holly and Shannan's treatment I will be reaching my goal. After having a treatment from Holly and Shannan I realized that the so-called massages I have had in the past were NOTHING compared to pain relief treatment received from MpowerD. I was able to have my lateral movement and run with considerably LESS pain only after one treatment. I have been taking my daughter who plays soccer at the ECNL level to Holly and her team for 2 years now. This place is the real deal! Recently my daughter suffered a level 2 sprain (pictures below) on Wednesday May 12th. Typically this would have been a go see Holly thing and let's get her better however, This isn't typical because she was scheduled to be seen by Top D1 coaches June 4th in North Carolina for her NC showcase. (The NCAA hasn't let any D1 coach look at the girls since last year due to covid) so needless to say we all freaked out because this weekend IS the weekend. Right when the accident happened we called and sent pictures to Holly of the swelling we also I immediately went to take x-Ray pictures to make sure it wasn't broken. Holly and her team as soon as they saw the pictures started guiding us what to do to get this healing done the correct way! Well, I am happy to say that my daughter is back at practice fully functional after only 13 days... the typical healing time for a level 2 sprain is 4-8 weeks! THANK YOU HOLLY THANK YOU! This is my second time leaving a review for MpowerD. I just wanted to say that I have have been following all of the advise I have been getting there and it all works! I feel almost as good as I did in college! But I have to tell the truth, I saw a groupon for a place in Ashburn (Premier Massage I think, I will leave a review there too). I thought I would try it for less than $50. All I can say is you get what you pay for. My membership is $85 at MpowerD, so that $35 was more than worth it and always will be! Sorry, but the lady at Premier just is not that knowledgeable or effective. Although last year I would have thought the massage was okay now I know all of the other places I have gone are so ineffective. It seems like they only do a routine and do not understand my problems or want to really help me. They just want me to rebook. Not MpowerD! They have me update exactly what I want focus on and then it's almost like magic, by the time I leave I am pain free! I feel like this is going to be my best summer playing tennis in a long time. Holly is simply amazing. There is nothing that compares to her touch. I have been seeing her now for a couple of years. With every visit, my body improves tremendously. She has treated my knee pain, back pain and neck issues with extreme care and delicacy. Not only does she take the time to educate me about my condition but also shows me the best way to recover along with what steps I should take to avoid re-injury. On more than one occasion I went her completely beat up from the long hours at work, driving, sitting in front of the computer and she applied her magical healing powers to help relieve my pain and invigorate every one of my muscles. Holly and the staff at Mpowered are great! I've been a client a few times now and have chosen to make this my mainstay for therapeutic massage. Holly's attention to detail and customer service are beyond compare. I came into the office from my car barely able to walk. She asked me how long had I been compromised this way, I told her 2 weeks. Doctors told me I had a SI joint issue in my lower back and if left untreated, I may need surgery or chiropratic for months to correct my back. In ONE visit will Holly I was able to bend and flex my lower back, she applied an athletic tape 'brace' system on my back and she gave me some techniques to do at home that actually help me stretch and repair my back on my own without surgery! The best part about her is the day after seeing her, she called to follow-up to see how I was feeling. You can't beat great service. I really can't adequately explain Holly's skills. It is unbelievable how she can figure out where pain is coming from and why. I have suffered, and I mean suffered, for YEARS with neck pain and pain in my calves from running. She had me lay on yoga blocks 3 times a day in this weird position for a month and the pain is 90% gone! Now maybe if I stop looking down at my darn iphone all day the rest will go away. Then what I thought was calf pain, and could never really resolve with a runner's stretch, she figured out it was a different muscle and gave me some funny looking ballet kind of move and now that is gone! Plus she found pain in my butt that I did not even know was there, then showed me a very simple stretch, and now I run with much more ease! She is awesome and I will continue to seek her help. I had the pleasure of experiencing my first reiki session with Meg a few weeks ago and another one last week. I wasn't sure what to expect, but had an open heart and mind. During the session I was completely relaxed and found myself drifting in and out of sleep, letting go of my stresses and finally able to shut down my brain. The truly remarkable and unexpected part came afterwards when I came out of the meditative state and Meg started sharing with me what energies she picked up from me. Holly is a lifesaver. I have occasional but severe sciatica and I've been to dozens of massage therapists seeking help. Feeling better in my case doesn't require a Massage Envy / country club massage. It takes someone who understands physiology who is practiced in chronic pain-relief with the skills and strength to solve the problem. Holly is fantastic! And she's in a small minority of therapists I've been to who can make the pain go away in one visit. She was able and willing to walk me through a pretty effective nerve-block technique I'd never tried - over the phone. This brought me some relieve until she could squeeze me into her busy schedule. I've been coming to MPowerD for over a year and will continue to be a loyal customer. The first day I walked in there I was desperate, in pain, and could barely walk. Holly and Tasha put me in the cryo chamber and performed other therapy on me. I was miraculously able to walk out of there normal. I go there regularly for cryo due to my back issues and surgeries. Nothing helps my pain and surgery recovery better than cryo. Take advantage of their package deals and do cryo for pain or general well being. Holly is a life saver. My back went out 3 days before my trip to Cancun. I was petrified to get on an airplane for 3 hours. It was sooooo painful to stand up or sit down, I was miserable. One of my friends told me to call Holly! She said she is magical and to give her a try. I thought there's no way she could help me feel better in that short Of time. Holly treated me every day and gave me exercises to also do at home after work. She knew what was wrong with me just by watching me walk. I felt so much better! I was not 100% but she saved me. I completely yakked up my calf about a week ago. I was in so much pain, I thought I tore something. I got a tens unit, a compression sleeve and a knee brace to try to help, but I never stopped working out. Something told me it wasn't an injury... and it wasn't. Well, thank you to Lucy Rankin. As an Olympic athlete having my body operating at its best is not an option, it's a necessity. Since I started coming to MpowerD Massage in 2014 that has not been something that has ever been in question. The team at MpowerD keeps me feeling great from training session to training session and competition to competition. Their functional and practical knowledge of the body is inspiring and it shines through, even in a 15 minute massage session (although I would strongly suggest at least a half hour). I have chronic neck and shoulder pain for almost last 5 years now. I have been to many therapists and chiropractors and did not find any long term healing. For the first time, my pain reduced after Holly's magic touch. She is very targeted in her approach and unlike many massage therapists, has a great knowledge of the anatomy of the body and also of the musculoskeletal system. She can pin point the exact problem and work with you in fixing it. What an fantastic company. I was home for the holidays and wanted to book a massage. I had been to MpowerD in their early days and had an amazing experience, but their new facility far exceeded my expectations. I wish I had more time, and probably would have spent the whole day there. In any event, my 75 minute massage with Leo was incredible. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. He tailored the whole experience to my exact needs, and he gave me lasting tools to help combat some muscular issues I had been experiencing. After taking the more traditional medical route (and many visits to the physical therapist), my daughter had "hit a wall" in her recovery from an elbow injury she sustained last Fall. At a friend's recommendation, we went for a consultation with Holly and were very impressed by her extensive knowledge and straightforward approach. By the end of her first visit, my daughter could already feel improvement in her range of motion. Can't wait to get my next session with Holly at Mpower Massage. She's the best at what she does. As a professional athlete, I have seen a lot of Massage therapist from all over the world and by far Holly and her staff are one of the best. I always learn something new on what I can improve on to have better training sessions and competitions. When I leave, I always feel incredible!! I can't stress how important a massage therapist is to an elite and finding a great one is hard. Lucy was one of the best therapists I've ever seen. She had a very keen sense of awareness of the body and the areas she was working on; she went deeper than most therapists have effectively gone on me, yet the session was no more uncomfortable than other deep tissue work I've had done. I think this was in part due to the combination of modalities she used. She took the time to listen to my concerns and really tried to cover every area in the session. Once you tell her what is going on she tailors the massage just for you, from deep tissue to hot rocks and aromatherapy it is definitely a complete package. She also specializes in pregancy massage and also fibromyalgia treatments. I swear you will feel like a bowl full of J-e-l-l-o once you get off her table. The nice thing is that you can get 30, 60, or 90 minute massages, so you can pick whatever works for you.....I would recommend the 90! Finally, another wonderful thing is that you can schedule with her online, just check out her website.......that way you actually get in there when you can because you are able to see what she has available when you have your own busy schedule in front of you. Even after paying that fee, my attempt to move forward and rebook was met with short, dismissive responses. When I reached out to find a slot, I was told 'I must be booked,' and when I shared that I'd have to take my business elsewhere, the response was a curt 'No worries!' It is baffling that a business owner would choose a one-time fee over a loyal, high-value client relationship (I was prepared to spend over $1,700 annually). To treat a new mother this way is not just poor business--it's unkind. I will be taking my business to a provider who values their clients' well-being as much as their bottom line."
