9/26/22 Upon a disappointing massage experience due timing…read moreissues at Relax Station, I wandered upon J Foot Spa which is located by Macy Department Store. Anna happened to be sitting outside waiting for the next available client. I happened to get to close and her eyes focused on me. Wanting another massage and her wanting another client, everything worked out beautifully. The curtain area I was lead to had solid curtains that were NOT SEE-THRU. The curtains came nearly to the floor. Music did play when I arrived, but after some time, the music stopped and I wasn't disappointed. There are so.e massage places that might play the same song(s) or album over and over again. J Foot Spa perfer you leave your underwear on. This is what I was informed for my first time here by Anna. Okay, no big deal. The Massage: The massage I chose was for 90 minutes. Since my body had already been massaged for 45 minutes earlier, I did not need Anna using to much of her forearms or elbows. My body had enough of the repeative practice of elbows and forearms going over the same spots. Anna like Fiona from Relax Work, I had to instruct her to move on from one spot or the whole session time would have been in that one spot I feel. Anna broke this worry by moving on to different body parts on her own. I am grateful for this. A lotion ointment that gave off a flowery smell was one option. I don't think most men would want to leave the shop smelling like it. Massage oil is another option. The massage table had the biggest colorful towel I have ever seen in a massage place. I am happy to have had the towel on me, because a cold wind did seem to blow on me from time to time. The massage room I had was surrounded by privacy screens. My right hand side had some kind of red fabric covering the tiny gaps in the cracks of the privacy screens. On my left hand side, the privacy screens had no red fabric covering the gaps. If I could see outwards, some one could see inwards. Anna's station area was at the end of the curtain area. Since the three other male masseurs were massaging other clients, I did not see them moving around much. Felicia is awesome and understands that most people get a massage to relax, so once we started there was no small talk, etc. Most importantly she knows how to work out knots. I sit at a desk on a computer (who doesn't?!) all day and had so many! I asked her to focus on my back and shoulders and she did not disappoint. I have never had a more thorough massage. Yelp did not disappoint me! The massage I received was everything I needed and more. Felicia was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She worked out the areas that required the most attention and I could really feel the knots coming out. These deep massages do hurt a bit, but are also relaxing. I never felt uncomfortable. This massage was exactly what I needed. Worth every penny! Hayes is located in a small office building, in which Felicia has a room in one of the suites. So, don't expect a day spa or anything of that sort. Felicia really specializes in this kind of work, which is what I really liked about going here. My PT recommended that I get massages often due to my accident and line of work. I will definitely be coming here to get those done!

My baby is now only starting to wean nursing and so I went to go schedule my final massage and realized my certificate had expired two weeks ago. I contacted the office and they were kind enough to honor my massage and provided me an extra month to schedule it. That to me is top notch customer service!! I'm so excited, thank you Massage Hope!! I loved the experience so much that I immediately booked the longest session available (90 minutes). I have had two long massages with Kaui, and both have been truly sublime. So much so that I have two future sessions booked now! I will mention a few things about Kaui the person, Kaui the massage therapist, and about the spa. Kaui is an extremely likeable, friendly, and intelligent person who communicates well. An example of how kind and thoughtful Kaui is: after my last massage with her was over, she gave me a box of macadamia nuts covered in chocolate (macadamia nuts are not cheap!) she got on her recent trip to her home state of Hawaii. Kaui really goes the extra mile to please! Kaui's very wonderful qualities as a person would be admirable but they would largely be irrelevant when you want a great massage if Kaui did not deliver on the massage table. I have had massages from multiple people. They all did a fine job. But after my 90 minute massage sessions with Kaui I never felt more relaxed in my life!! Kaui moves over your body at just the right "Goldilocks" speed--not too fast, not to slow--just perfect. Kaui made massage movements I had not experienced before that made me melt into the massage table in sublime relaxed pleasure. Every minute of my massages with Kaui has felt wonderful! When Kaui is working her massage magic on your body she is wise enough to stay silent (except for a very occasional "pressure level OK?" check-in early in the message) so that talk does not distract you from the blissful relaxation you are experiencing under her hands. But if you initiate a conversation Kaui is more than happy to talk. Kaui is wise enough to let you control how long the conversation lasts. A car analogy fits. For me, getting a massage from others has been like driving a Honda Accord--a good experience but nothing really shines. In contrast, getting a massage from Kaui is like the "ultimate driving experience" when driving a top of line BMW. Kaui has provided me with the "ultimate massage experience" (nothing sexual implied; Origins Thai Spa is a totally legitimate place). Origins Thai Spa is exceptional as well. It is in a quiet location in Sterling (not a strip mall or other busy place). The spa is quiet and soothing from the moment step inside. All the receptionists are very friendly. It is very easy to make appointments online. You can have a warm massage table if you want it. After the massage is over, Kaui wipes you down with a warm towel to remove massage oil from your body. Plus a very welcome warm towel for your face at the end that caps off this most relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Kaui even immediately gave me one of the spa's robes when my bladder made me step down the hall for a minute during the massage. Kaui, you have a customer for life. Then when I cancelled, Elise only refunded part of the remaining amount paid for my unused massages (50%). To date, a remaining $137 due has not been refunded and Elise is not communicating with me. Very unprofessional.
