My male masseuse was so firm and painful. Despite being told the pressure was way too hard at least three times - he did not change. I was literally writhing in pain. My body was so tense the whole time and I have a high pain tolerance . Normally I am disappointed when a massage ends. I kept looking at the clock and it was the most painful hour I experienced. He was unapologetic and tried to put the blame on me for being tight and not stretching. He was not professional at all. Out of respect. I won't identify his name. And my back, neck and legs are sore even though it was meant to be a foot massage. The few minutes he spent on the other parts did enough damage and most of it was dry with no lotion. Highly recommend! Had some extremely sore feet and calves after several days of walking and needed some relief. I had heard great things from friends and family. They are open quite late and were able to take two of us last-minute. Really high quality with LOTS of pressure in all the right places, foot soak, and a hot towel. Best use of $40 I can think of. In addition to the foot massage, I added an upper body massage. I don't think I'll do that again. Not that it was bad, but the relaxing chairs for the only-foot massage people looked way better. And after the body massage, they don't move you to the comfy chair. I will start with the cons first. When I called to make the appointment, I couldn't hear and had to keep asking him to repeat I could tell he was getting miffed. When I walked in I smelled fish. Yes it was lunch time but I don't like fish so it was only going to go down from here. No salon lavender smell going on here. The rooms are sectioned off with curtains, if you want complete privacy and hear nothing but salon massage music and lavender essence smell this is not the place for you. The therapist spoke very little English and just kept telling me to lay down. The room was clean and the massage was fine. When I came out I see signs that say be quiet. Now this is the reason he was talking so softly on the phone. When I was asking him questions on the way out he was speaking softly with a mask on. I had to ask him to repeat. Maybe a wall should be built between the rooms and checkout so one can ask question and speak freely without disturbing others. Also they ask if I wanted a cup of water on the way out and gave me a Dixie cup of water. It was also warm in there. Maybe they can get small fans to use as a noise canceling machines. It wasn't great but it wasn't the worse. It all depends what you want. They could make it a great place I was going to give feedback but didn't want to speak and disturb others, and the man wasn't acting like he wanted to hear what I had to say. read more

My first time getting a foot massage here. My daughter and I went for foot massage as a Mother's Day treat. The place is nice and clean and the quality of massage is high quality - started with a warm foot soak with the masseuse giving a neck and shoulder massage. After that worked on the calf muscles and foot with lots of pressure in the right place. Both the masseuse were very good, however my only complaint is that my massage kept getting interrupted as my masseuse was managing the front desk as well as appointments on the phone while he was attending to my massage!!! It was very frustrating to have him pause every so often. If he had done my massage without any interruption, it would have been a great experience. Because of that, I felt like I did not feel like I got the full benefit of the massage. The shoulder, neck, and arm massage which accompanied the foot soak was unexpected, but the perfect way to wind down. The pressure was intense, but it hurt so good! When it came time for the foot reflexology portion, I was expecting more technique and pressure points to be relieved. There was a lot of all over massaging of my legs and feet. The bottom of my feet were neglected, and that's the part I was looking forward to the most. At the end, you're oiled up with warm oil and receive a hot rock rubdown. That was nice and unexpected, as well. I have now upgraded from the combo foot/chair massage to the full body table massage for $60 for 60 minutes. Post baby, I've had terrible back pain. I've tried prescription meds, chiropractors, massage therapies, acupuncture, etc. and nothing worked. My issues are muscular which is affecting my nerves and spine. I was practically coming to CH Foot massage weekly but my guy is no longer there. I haven't found another person who could accommodate to my needs as well as Kevin but I have been back at least monthly and have seen others. They are all really great and by far the best massages I've ever received. The table massage isn't for the weak though. The entire masseuse staff is men. But it's still in the open style atmosphere on a table. You keep your clothes on so they are using techniques which massage the muscles without burning or pinching your skin. These techniques include using towels, lotions, elbows, etc. The average pressure I've experienced is pretty deep, deeper than any Massage Envy "deep muscle massage" that I've ever had. At first, it does hurt and sometimes I am sore the next day BUT after the first day, I'm feeling like a 20 year old tween. Over time, I've gotten used to the pressure and I'm not as sore. If you're looking for a relaxing massage, go with the full hour of the foot massage but if you're looking to get out those kinks, the table is the way to go! read more
