This is a walk up and order place. First time here and came based on Yelp! Reviews and pictures from other patrons. Enjoyed it all. The Spring rolls, grilled pork bahn mi and grilled pork rice plate. Friendly staff and very clean.

Well this is a nice find and more than a deli. Lots of Vietnamese goodies to eat and drink. Service is fast. I watched the cook literally run from the kitchen to the front of the house to deliver my order and sprint back. The food is as good as the service with their v bowls top notch and abundant. First time I've seen chicken egg rolls and so I had to order despite not being a fan of chicken. Well made and my family truly enjoyed. I will be back.

Great food! The portion were big so you got your moneys worth. My rice platter had so much meat. I ate this for two meals and still have meat leftover to give to my dog. Ordered dinner from here and the place has potential but some things are not as good as others on the menu. I ordered the pho dac biet and my husband got the banh mi special with wonton soup. The pho was not very good. The broth had a lot of fat in it and the meat was mostly fat as well. The broth was also very plain, not like the usual bone broth with spices that is served with pho. Now the highlight of the order was by far the banh mi. It was absolutely delicious and I would go back just to have one of those. We got the beef and it was moist and well flavored.

First of all the Asian dude at the cash register was rude and didn't even say "Hi" when we walked into the store. I asked him if they had Goi Cuon (spring rolls), all he did was point at the menu and said, "that's what we have." Instead of answering my question he just directed me toward the wall menu, very rudely I might add. Then after I placed my order I my husband last minute ordered a Vietnamese coffee, he looked annoyed that I added another item. Then when I thanked him he just walked away. What a effin a$&hole!! We sat down to eat our spring rolls and coffee, the food was terrible. Not traditionally made spring rolls which contain pork and shrimp with rice noodle, bean sprouts and lettuce. It had everything except the pork which makes it a spring roll. They only had very little shrimp with tons of noodles and bean sprouts wrapped in lettuce and the rice wrap. The sauce was weak and watery. The coffee was too milky sweet and did not have a strong coffee taste. I do not recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good Vietnamese food. These guys are wanna-he's at best. Awful hole in the wall was the atmosphere. Very plain and ugly in my view.

First time here and I loved it! Small, clean restaurant right off of Stuebner Airline and Louetta. I found it on the yelp app after looking for sandwich shops. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Sandwich and it was amazing! Hot and full of flavor. I also ordered the spring rolls. They were good but the peanut sauce was too liquidy. Overall really good

One of my favorite places to grab Vietnamese food. They have great Banh Mi and even better noodle dishes, rice dishes, and appetizers. The put much work into making sure the presentation of the food is enjoyable and colorful. The taste is always great and they even pack your Togo food in high quality plastic bowls and boxes. The inside is clean, stylish, and would be a great place to meet with friends. Very nice employees and modern menu options, Vina Deli doesn't miss!

Lemongrass beef salad was absolutely amazing! And the service was just as good. Calming music and they made me and my daughter feel at home. Looking for legit Vietnamese this is the place! Thank you!

Really like this place! Their bahn mi is great, love the pork. Bread is fresh as well as the veggies. Drinks with the tapioca are really good as well. My favorite is the strawberry. It's quick, cheap, and good. Can't beat it. read more

I'm so glad this is here!! The closest bahn mi to my house was just not close enough. I've come here twice this week for lunch, and I'm in love. Some of the best bahn mi I've had. Definitely the best Banh Mi shop in the Spring area. This deli is associated with the original shop, in the Hing Kong Supermarket center. Their bread is definitely fresh, the meats are your authentic cuts, and the whole sand which as a whole was delicious (I got the combination) added a fried egg to the sandwich and it completed the meal. Very happy customer and happy to see a familiar name in my area. read more

I usually call my order in 15 minutes before I pick up and they have always been timely. I went there recently knowing they open at 10am and they didn't open till 10:20am! When I finally went in I ordered 2 banh mi and 2 smoothies and it took them 30 minutes to have my order prepared. Their food is really good but if you are in a rush I would suggest calling them ahead of time for them to start your order. read more

The egg rolls and spring rolls are great, but the main cashier ruins the entire experience. They close at 9:00 pm and the past few times I've gone has been barely after 8:15. Each time I get turned away because they are "closed". This past time I pointed out that they don't close for another 45 minutes and the cashier just said they're all sold out, before I even placed an order, so unless he can read minds or they sold out of everything I was turned away for their convenience. The food is good, but I will not be returning. read more

I'm lazy. Even if I'm super hungry I won't go out unless I have to. I will go to this place at the drop of the hat. It's so good. I must admit that I've only got the BBQ pork sandwich w a fried egg and the 4 fried Vietnamese egg rolls. The veggies are the freshest and everything is tasty. For most big guys like me u got to get double meat for it to be super tasty. read more

Food is great but the service/waiting for your food to be cooked needs some revamping. I should never have to wait 30 min on a Tuesday night especially when I called the order in advance. Unfortunately, there is only one cook and one server at ALL times. Vina Deli would profit from better business if they were to have two cooks. They cook "made to order" style and I can appreciate that. But (to the owner) you would "kill it" if you were to invest in one more cook to help keep your orders to a respectable "pick up time". I was quite disappointed. Located in a strip mall, the place is pretty small. There are a few tables if you want to eat at the place, but as we were waiting it seemed like most people only ordered to go and took it home. I had their grilled pork vermicelli. I'm not sure why they asked if it was for here or to go because they still served the food in a Styrofoam to go box. Once I opened the box, I saw the dish and the fish sauce. There was the noodle, the pork, one lettuce leaf - YES, just a leaf, not shredded or anything! And chunks of carrots. It tasted average and was not anything out of the ordinary. read more

The sandwiches are cheap which is always good but you get the amount of meat that you pay for... Not a whole lot. I've also never had a banh mi sandwich with so little flavor. The teas are good and made with fresh fruit. I even got a free refill which is a huge plus compared to other tea restaurants in the area. Unfortunately there aren't any boba, tapioca, or jelly add-ons for the tea. I have no plans to return. read more

This review is for their catering service. I was very disappointed with my decision to cater from them. I'm usually pretty happy with the food there as I've had their sandwiches and drinks several times. But i do not recommend them for parties. First, the spring rolls were not fresh, a few of my guests pulled out brownish lettuce out of their rolls. That was embarassing. And the sauce was extremely watery and not at all what I've had from the oven the past. The noodles were also too wet, plenty of meat and veggies but not enough noodles. Next time, I will just have to take the 45 min. drive to Bellaire for catering. Lesson learned. read more

Okay sooo I come here probably once a week after school and omg :) I love everything here. I always get the beef banh mi and the vina frappe and they're both so delicious and fresh and they make everything SO FAST!!! It's super cheap too and really close to my school and my house so yeah it's great. The service here is also really great, the guys who work here are all super sweet and they remember me so I don't even need to tell them what I want anymore :) Come check this neat place out!! read more

Today I ordered the spring roll catering dish and also the lomein....The peanut sauce for the spring roll was runny and watered down, some of the spring rolls had brown lettuce and some had no vermicelli...The lomein on the other hand did not have any noodle and was very bland...Will NOT be ordering food from here for future parties... read more

This place sucks! Over priced Boba Tea. Sandwich was fine. But very greasy. Egg rolls tasted like fish, grease you could tell hasnt been changed in ages. Why people why.. Well, well, well. Not much to say in all honesty. Menu is simple. They offer plates of vermicelli and rice and what not and then you have your banh mi's. Place was dead right at lunch time, maybe a sign from above that I didn't see. Was greeted by a friendly gentleman and he did attend me ok. I ordered a pork banh mi and a bottled water. Kinda wanted a tapioca drink, such as a milk tea, but it was $5!!! Usually $3.50 or 3.75 is what you would pay for such drink. Sat down, 5 mins later they had my sandwich ready and I went up to the window and got it. Sat back down to a sad attempt at a banh mi :(. Bread was not nice and crisp. It was soggy and sad. Might I add also that I has ordered a fried egg with it and it was kind of cold. Sandwich also had waayyy to much carrots, i know they're great for my eyes and all but it was overload. BBQ pork was ok, not great just ok. So it was a disappointment to me, Living in Houston we have a bunch of great Viet places, but this was a let down. read more

I always feel so bad giving a low rating, but.. I had fried rice, which I think we ended up trashing. It just didn't have that great of flavor. The fried spring rolls were good, but that is about it. I am sure their sandwiches are good, but I don't eat bread.. So no way for me to know. Service was okay. I have a very bubbly personality, so I guess I just like that in return. read more

A full Coke setup that also includes Dr Pepper AND Diet Dr Pepper is ideal. I realize a pepsi fountain is more profitable because of distributor incentives, but pepsi is favored by almost nobody and hated by many...so is it really worth it? Tony's is so great that pepsi just does not fit in. Hopefully they don't deteriorate further and change to Wonderbread for all of their sandwiches. Bottom line: at the very least, please add diet pepsi to your soda machine if that brand remains in place.

You can see them making your food fresh after ordering and I appreciate that they tried to move quickly because there were people going in and out on the Saturday afternoon I was there. I personally don't like the thick bread and prefer the pita pocket style of rolls, but that's just personal preference. So I'm not even counting that part of the review. Because I expected it to have the thinner bread, I asked them to cut it. I usually like to have my sandwich cut in the middle, so I can eat half of it while driving since I'm almost always on the go. When they cut half of the sandwich, the aluminum foil bits were inside of the sandwich and that was really annoying because I had to pick off almost half of the sandwich from the ends of the sandwich just to make sure I didn't eat any bits of aluminum foil. I would ask them to either cut sandwiches in half separately before wrapping or have better quality aluminum foil (You can see the aluminum foil in the pictures). The sauce and meat was good and the veggies seemed fresh. I'm not knocking this place down, I'll definitely be back to try out again but just something to be aware of. There are coupons for the pizza that you can pick up at the counter and already at a very purposely priced average layout of $12 ish you can even get a discount off of that which you can feed a small party. This is one of those places where I tried it three times in one week and those that know me no that I will legitimately return as a nuisance until I'm sick of an establishment... and here I am. That Ambience is Cafe style and you're not going to get any decorations or happy cashiers but you will get a glimpse of its past ghostly history which seem to have been a Mexican restaurant at one time....decades ago! Don't let the outside deter you because there's not much to see and if you're driving past here fast enough, you might not see it and then when you step inside, don't get a double whammy of being surprised but just try the product for pizza sake, you will love it.
