    Outside of restaurant!

For starters the staff here is so kind! Everytime I go I feel the mutual energy of excitement to see returning customers! I wish I knew everyone by their names personally! The way the staff check on all customers and make sure everyone is ok and comfortable is a life and beyond amazing! The ambiance! Ten out of ten! Please keep playing great music! It just makes the vibe feel so fun while I enjoy my amazing food! Did I forget they have so many menu options! My daughter absolutely loves the boba tea here! The bowls my pho is served keeps my pho hot and fresh the entire time! The garnish is always fresh! Lately the weather has been chili lately so I have been a lot more lately. I'm sorry I didn't snag a pic guys but the seafood pho is great too! The cleanliness of the restaurant is too tier also! Spread the word and come eat some of the best TASTING PHO IN HOUSTON!!

Arrived at around 12-12:30pm on a Sunday. I really enjoy the ambiance, they had a real nice soulful playlist playing The food & service is very quick. I feel like I barely waited no longer than 13 min for two entrees of the Pho Dac Biet & Banh canh cua.

    Crab udon noodle soup.

I really like that this place is right down the street from me. I've been to a lot of pho spots, and this one didn't really stand out when it comes to the usual noodle soup stuff. Nothing bad to say it, it's your standard pho. But I decided to try something different and got the crab udon noodle soup--and wow, it was so good. Like, really flavorful and umami, and the broth was thick and tasty, not watery at all. There wasn't a ton of crab meat in it, but it had that crab flavor that made it hit the spot. Super glad I tried it. Sometimes it's nice to switch it up from pho, and this was totally worth it. In fact, there are a lot of non pho options I'm going to try that I'll update later. Just come and try the crab noodle soup. While I like udon noodles I might ask them substitute vermicelli next time.

What is not to love about this place? The customer service is impeccable. They're so welcoming and friendly. They make you feel like family. The food is always fresh and delicious. The music is on point every time!! We absolutely love this place.

The vermicelli and egg rolls were both delicious, the egg rolls were perfectly crispy with lots of flavor, and the vermicelli had tender chicken with fresh veggies. The plate was a good proportion, and the fish sauce was lightly sweet and not overly fishy or strong, which I enjoyed. The milk tea was perfect and not too sweet.

Nice atmosphere and friendly service. I arrived on a Saturday around noon. In ordered a small pho with chicken. This is my 3rd restaurant in the last two weeks and, everyone is out of bean sprouts. Bean sprouts really make the pho taste great! Pho Chicken 3/5: The broth was very oily! The oil was floating on top of the broth. The broth tasted good, but it was too oily for me. The picture is prior to adding basil, cilantro, hoisin and sriracha sauce. Vietnamese Egg Rolls: 2/5: Too greasy and lacked basic flavor.

    Side of rice.

I ordered a large pho to go and there was barely any noodles in my bowl and the broth was barely over half full. They also didn't include any of the fixins (onions, bean sprouts, mint, lime) and when we asked for 2 of each sriracha and hoisin they only gave us one. I ordered a side of rice to go with my pho and there's barely any in there as well. I didn't think to take pictures until after I poured everything together but here's a picture of the rice for reference. The broth, noodles, and rice were all cold as well. And the fried rice was cold and honestly tasted horrible. I'm not usually one to write bad reviews but we spent over $40 on our meal and I'm sick and was really looking forward to a hot bowl of pho to make my day a little better and it just wasn't. Super disappointed.

I actually went back twice in less than seven days because I enjoyed the beef noodle bowl so much. Plus, the inside is so cute and calming, with a great playlist of songs, and the staff is friendly. But this was my first time stopping by in those seven days. It all started with me always searching for a particular beef bowl I used to get in Japan and Singapore. It is called the Singapore Beef Bowl. It's so hard to find, but this time, I sat in my car going through my food collections. I drove to two other places, and it was a no-go. This was my third place, and as I was describing what I was looking for, the hostess started flipping the menu pages, showed me what I was looking for, and told me exactly what noodles and beef to ask for, along with what broth, which is the spicy broth. The taste of the noodles and the beef was dead on, which was exactly what I had been hoping for. So, let's fast forward. I discovered that this dish is very popular at Pho Q Long. I went a few days later in the afternoon, and it was sold out. But that's okay; I know to get here right before noon, and my bowl will be waiting!

Walked in for a late lunch on Saturday (7/6/24) very welcoming atmosphere, great music playing. We were told to sit anywhere and tended to quickly. We had the shrimp & pork spring rolls but they were so good we didn't even take a pic! All the food was very fresh, tasted delicious which made it a great first time experience! Prices are great too! Will definitely come back for some great Vietnamese food!

This place is great! Very friendly service, and they are quick to pick up finished dishes. I ordered #15 raw round eye. The broth was so flavorful!!! The meat was perfect. Great bowl of Phó. I also ordered the fried #1 Vietnamese egg rolls. They were good. Pretty big so if you are eating alone, go with the half order.

Not many restaurants in Houston offer Takowasa, which is marinated raw octopus with wasabi; and when we find one that does, it's our must order for appetizers. We also ordered the chicken karaage and agedashi tofu. The karaage was juicy and slightly larger than the size of popcorn chicken. The tofu was soft and lightly battered, however the downside is that it gets soggy quickly since it's sitting in the sauce rather than on the side. For our entrees, we got the carbonara, curry tonkatsu rice, niku tama ankake, and kakuni udon. The carbonara was nice and creamy. The curry rice tastes exactly like the Japanese box curry. The niku tama is more of a thicker soup base similar to egg drop soup, however has a more slightly sweet umami flavor. The kakuni udon had a lighter broth with braised pork belly. The service was a bit slow here, but we didn't mind it too much. The interior had a cute traditional Japanese style decor. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and we'll be back to try other udons.

Before their recent expansions to Austin, it all began here in Rice Village exactly 15 years ago. The vibes are contemporary and casual, with the kind of space that fits for just about any scenario. Whether it's a solo meal, a lunch date, or a group led affair, the experience is almost always an excellent one. Start by ordering at the counter and find a seat where the food will brought directly to the table. So much of their variety caters to all sorts of dietary restrictions from vegan to gluten free to nut free. Their spicy crispy brussels sprouts ($10) are a nice starter, as is the squash "onion" rings ($12). The local power bowl ($16) is a classic and I've always enjoyed the brown rice and quinoa combo. Their chicken "posolé" is solid, and I love the large hominy bits along with the clear but green tint of a broth. The chicken shawarma bowl ($20) is an interesting mix that includes pickled beets and strawberries, along with their market cheddar burger ($17) and fabulous twice cooked fries. The carrot cupcake is strangely addicting, and I think their gluten free brownie is a bit of a sleeper. Some of their items didn't jive with me previously, such as an underwhelming cashew queso ($9), a semi-laughable Vietnamese steak bowl ($22), and their semi-gringo version of a banh mi ($15). It's not that these items are bad per se, but they definitely don't live up to the same standard that I feel their other dishes do best. Where they hit the biggest home run is their customer service. Everyone working behind the counter does their best to deliver and they almost always do by staying on top of refills, cleanups, and customer greets. I've always enjoyed my experiences here and look forward to every visit.
