Been eating Village baker for years and am so excited for the new location! The food is every bit as good as the original location's (can't beat their bread) and now I have a place to sit and park easily which is huge if you've ever been to the West Jordan location. This is THE place for sandwiches, pizza and dessert. Locally owned and operated also which is always nice. The french roll is a must try for sandwiches and you won't regret trying any of the specialty pizzas. I never seem to save enough room for dessert so i end up taking home a couple K Bars or a loaf of cinnamon bread. Really hoping to see a few more Village Baker's start popping up around the valley! read more

These guys are amazing! Not only is the food always wonderful, but the staff goes above and beyond. I order from here for my office frequently and they are ALWAYS on point. thank you for making it such a yummy experience. read more

AMAZING food and unbelievable service!!! Who would have thought a sandwich shop made the best pizza in the state!!! With all the choices on the menu I could come back every day!!! Completely satisfied with the meal what a great start to my Saturday!!! read more

We came here because of a recommendation from a friend. I'm hooked. The molasses bread is so soft and sweet. I love their chicken salad, and don't forget a pumpkin bar if they still have them. Too good! read more

I love VB! I work with a lot of different catering companies and VB is BY FAR the greatest to work with. On all levels they're awesome. The food is always a crowd pleaser and it always arrives hot and ready. The employees are a pleasure to work with on big orders. My husband and I visit the Sandy location a ton for lunch and dinner. Never disappoints! Don't forget to try their pizza. It is their hidden gem! read more

Went to the Village Baker in Sandy at 12:15 PM with work colleagues. I ordered the full/large Chicken Caesar Salad, to go. It was a good salad; tasted great. Well prepared. Presentation was nice with extra touches like a sliced lemon peel, nice toppings, bag of croutons, and a roll. We waited maybe 5 minutes during the busy lunch rush hour to get our food, which was very nice and unexpected how quick they were. So, the reason for only 3 stars . . . Their online website order form doesn't work on any of our computers. I tried different browsers as well. All I got was a blank webpage screen and a lack of secure http for ordering. Now, a colleague of mine was able to order from his phone; but no one could order from a desktop/laptop computer. Worse is that it was showing as an unsecured http connection. So, Village Baker really needs to get its web developers to check the order form portion of the website and make it more compatible and secure with desktops/laptops. read more

The bread is absolutely fantastic! The meats are what you'd expect of any deli, but the pizza is surprisingly good--available by slice at lunchtime, and as whole pizzas the rest of the day. My particular favorite is the meatball sandwich. read more

I'm a huge fan of Village Baker. I'd say that they have some of the best bread in town which make the sandwiches so good. Also, the desserts are top notch. I wasn't a fan of rice crispy treats but they changed my mind. Also, the bread pudding is wonderful. I do think they should make their own salad dressings like blue cheese. Something about pouring dressing out of a packet just doesn't do it for me. Village Baker is my favorite lunch spot. read more

The food is good but I waited in a long line for 5 min, which itself is what it is, but then I waited 25 minutes from the time I place my order to the time I got it. Not the place to go on your lunch hour. Its too bad because the food is good. Plan ahead and/or order ahead. read more

One of our family's favorite places to eat. Great sandwiches and pizzas. BBQ chicken pizza is outstanding. Good value and friendly atmosphere. Visit several times per month. read more

Pretty good turkey sandwich and their desert bars are tasty! I'd definitely go back again.

My got to for sandwiches and baked goods. Consistent and the staff is alway on top of it!

The food is good WHEN you can get it. Three times was the charm for me...tried on-line for lunches - they didn't get that order and said they have problems with that occasionally where it will come through the next day - well FIX IT PEOPLE!! TOOK an order there the day before and spoke to two people who perused the order and said tomorrow pick up; got there next day at time designated and NADA - what order? - not good when doing business with a company who could be giving you SO MUCH business down the road. read more

Came in with the coworkers and got a Monterrey Pizza! This thing is massive and has tons of every vegetable on it!!

Amazing food, and love the atmosphere at the Sandy location. Friendly staff!! I love that the good is freshly prepared, but fast enough to eat during a lunch break. read more

I love Village Baker! The chicken salad sandwich and turkey cranberry and my favorite sandwiches. The desserts are also fantastic, especially the almond bars, cookies and Special K bars. The food is a great value and filled with fresh ingredients. You can get a loaf of their yummy bread while you're there too. I'm so happy Village Baker exists. I'm hoping one comes to Salt Lake soon! read more

Always love going to Village Baker. Their lunch options and treats are amazing!

I like how they have pizza and many different options to choose from. They were speedy and friendly! The sandwiches are simple and delicious. The pizza was a little overcooked but this was the first time that's happened. read more

This place is a joke. I waited an hour to get a take home pizza to bake; they didn't leave instructions on how to cook my pizza. My wife order a sandwich and soup which she got and her soup was cold. I was told when she got her food my pizza was almost done. Then it took another 45 minutes to get my pizza. I will never eat at this establishment again. read more

Amazing food and amazing service. All their employees were very polite and made sure I had everything I needed! And the food was absolutely delicious! read more

This place is a little taste of heaven whether you are in the mood for dinner or dessert.....heck, make it both! The turkey avocado sandwich on squaw bread is exquisite! Their sandwiches are huge! We couldn't decide on an iced sugar cookie, snickerdoodle cookie, or a cinnamon roll. So, we tried all three! Next visit, we are trying the pizza! read more

Purchased a large take out order for lunch. We called a head of time and placed the order. When I arrived the "owner I believe" acted as if he did not want to fulfill our order. He actually threw 2 pizza boxes on the table and walked off in a huff. I do a lot of this lunches for my customers. I will never use this place again. read more

SOOO GOOD!! i got half of a sandwich and a bowl of soup. it took a little longer than normal for them to make my food so the manager gave me a full sandwich and a free dessert just to make up for it! read more

As a mom, I always appreciate places that acknowledge my kids. We went to Village Baker today for lunch, and I'm so glad the staff was so nice! The girl that took my order was really patient with me, since I had both kids, and interacted with my baby. After placing our order, another worker who was cleaning the dining area carried over a high chair because my hands were full. The person who delivered our order was also super patient, and also smiled and waved at both kids. The menu was super healthy, and I felt confident on making a healthy choice for my daughter's kid meal. We had such a good experience at Village Baker! read more

Went at the height of the lunch rush. I was worried as the line was long. I probably waited less than 10 min in line. I was expecting my food to take a while but it was out very fast, and delicious. Very friendly and when their ice maker stopped working they went out to get Sonic ice. Way to keep customers happy! read more

Sandwiches were good, but my favorite was the broccoli cheddar soup.

Crazy good pizza. The service was fast and the workers very friendly and helpful. I'm definitely coming back. So much better than zupas or kneaders. Not too busy around lunch time either! read more

Great service, great atmosphere, and even better food! One of my favorite lunch spots. Lots of options, and for the portion size, a great price. I personally love the club sandwich (something about that bacon just does me right) and the turkey cranberry. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. read more

I looooove Village Baker! Their sandwiches are huge and delicious. They have the best homemade bread. They have amazing desserts as well. Seriously, such a yummy place! read more

Tonight was the last straw, I will not be returning. If you are eating-in you MIGHT get your FOOD (have had problems here too). If you order online expect to have your order late, half-delivered, and potentially be charged twice (online and in person). All of these things have happened to me at this location, and tonight I stood in the restaurant for 20 minutes AFTER my promised pickup time, watched a pizza get cold (that was for me) while they make a couple sandwiches then to see the word 'out' on the receipt next to the soup I ordered (AND PAID FOR) When they handed the sandwiches to me. I asked "so I paid for soup, so do I not get soup and I have to pay for it?". So then they filled a cup of the wrong soup and I finally asked "is that pizza for me?" which they said "oh yeah, it is!". I guess would never have figured out without me asking (this had happened basically every time I have gone here. DONE. read more

I honestly have not had one bad thing from Village Baker! I love the thick soft bread for the sandwiches, their soup is really good. The salads are HUGE, and I prefer their pizza to anywhere else. They also have take and bake pizzas available, they are really good for parties. read more

EASILY the best sandwiches, salads and pizza in the valley! It doesn't matter if you're looking for lunch or dinner, this is ALWAYS a go-to place. Their bread and cookies are also amazing. I don't think I have ordered something I have been disappointed with yet. Not to mention, it's locally owned and operated so it feels a good to support local, while always leaving satisfied. Top Recommendations: strawberry salad, Stromboli pizza, turkey/provolone sandwich. read more

We loved our experience at this Village Baker! This and the Lehi location are the friendliest, fastest, and most accurate.

I love the food here! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is awesome! I highly recommend the chef salad and their cookies!

I love this place. I always get a turkey, provolone and avocado sandwich on honey wheat and it never disappoints. The bread is so good and soft, by far my favorite sandwich bread. Also the pizza here is surprisingly good for a place that doesn't seem like a pizza place! read more
