Not only do they have donuts but if you do at the right time they have $1 cake samplers!!! I ended having 3 or 4 of them cause you got to try all different kinds or flavors. If you go you have to try their Turtle Cake! They're conveniently located right next to Loki coffee so you can get yourself a donut and walk over to Loki for a drink. The girls behind the counter were so incredibly sweet!! The literally definition of service with a smile. But the smile wasn't forced they genuinely seemed happy to be there! It just elevates the experience when the workers are radiating positivity. The shop is like a pink dream! The walls are decked out in bright pink and they even have a pink flower wall. They also have a sunroom for sitting and enjoying your sweet treat. The only reason they're getting 4 inside of 5 stars is because I wish they had more flavor options.

This place is so cute! A small interior area but with lots of lighting and big windows. We didn't stay to eat in and got these to go but I did like the ambiance. We ordered two donuts - the passion fruit and ferrero rocher donuts. Presentation wise, these look so good I didn't want to bite into it and taste wise, I also really enjoyed it as it was not overwhelmingly sweet and well balanced with the ratios of cream to dough. The donut dough is light and fluffy, and the cream is mousse like and as mentioned not overly sweet, but light and refreshing. For $5 a donut, it was a bit pricy but you are paying for quality. I'd definitely come back again as a treat and splurge trying some of the other donuts, the croissant waffles, or the cakes. Our bill was around $11 for two donuts and tax. Parking has it's own space and was easy to get a spot. Service was extremely patient and kind explaining the donut flavors, the bingsoo, the chiffon cake options, and drinks.

I'm so happy there's a location closer to me! I've gone to the downtown location a few times, but this was my first time to the one in Sandy! Arrived on a Saturday evening around 6:30ish to take home. No other customers were there at the time. Cashier was friendly and quick! We ordered: - 2 Strawberry and Cream - 2 Ube - 1 Ferrero Rocher - 1 sticky date (seasonal) - they were out of the (seasonal) maple cinnamon for the night, so I hope we can try it before it's gone! - didn't try the sweet potato casserole, but maybe next time if it's available We love love love the donuts and haven't tried anything else on the menu (yet lol). The doughnuts themselves are fluffy and have a light fried crisp on the outside. These are cream (not typically custard) filled donuts so anyone who isn't a fan of filled donuts, maybe tread carefully or eat around the filling to try first lol . I do wish there was more filling so there aren't so many plain bites until you get to the center. Strawberry and cream is a classic. Tons of whip cream, sliced strawberries on the outside and I think a strawberry jam or compote that's minimally inside. I wish there were more fresh strawberries or stronger strawberry flavor to go with the huge amount of whip cream it has We're not huge fans of ube, but we LOVE the ube donut. It's a non- negotiable for us to get at least one hahah. Slight ube flavor that's not too sweet, nice creamy filling. I'm so glad we took a chance and tried bc I don't know if I would gotten it the first time haha Ferrero Rocher has a light chocolate hazelnut flavor. The filling seemed like a snack-pak chocolate pudding, still good, but not amazing. The crushed hazelnut on top was nice crunchy texture change and flavor, the top of this donut is my fav. The sticky date was okay - it seemed a bit boring even with the chopped nuts and sticky glaze on top. Even though it sounds like it would be sweet, it was very mild in flavor and not super sweet. These donuts are best day of!! Us two can't eat all 6 (even though we try ;) ) and the powder sugar coating gets wet, little soggy in spots, and dough is a little dry next day. I am one to plan out which donut to eat first depending on how well I think it might sit. So I think we've decided to not get duplicates (except maybe the ube), to have the best tasting experience! Chubby Baker is a must try for any donut lover, even a traditionalist bc you might find a classic flavor or something similar! I'm excited to come here more often now there's one closer to me!! :)

Obviously the best dessert/donut cafe around. Friendly service and what I loved the most is that everything is the right amount of sweet so it's perfect to me. Inside is super cute and definitely instagrammable but with actually delicious food and drinks to match the ambiance here. Like their door says these donuts are good breakfast, lunch, or dinner or maybe more like dessert. Such a gem in the neighborhood. Very excited to come back again and again. Keep up the amazing creations Chubby Baker you're the best!

Super cute shop, nice staff, and great donuts! Highly recommend checking them out and trying a few different kinds. You can't go wrong with a classic sugar or cinnamon sugar, but the strawberry cream is also a great choice. Don't forget to see what their seasonal flavor rotation is.

We went to Chubby Baker for the Bingsu specifically. It was good! Typically it comes with sweetened condensed milk on top and it had a different kind of sweet sauce. It was $14.

Shout out to Jordan- they helped me out the other day and they were so friendly and answered all my questions! I took these doughnuts to a family function and everyone there was raving about them, saying these were the best doughnuts they've ever had. Creative flavors, amazing texture- would give 10/5 stars if I could!! Very wheelchair accessible, with low counters and tables, flat surfaces

I've been dying to try Chubby Baker, drooling over all the Instagram food porn! Finally decided to go ahead and give them a try, I placed my order through DoorDash. I'm giving 3 stars as a combined rating for everything ordered simply because I can't rate everything individually but I will in this review. The best thing ordered was the strawberries and cream filled donut, that deserves 5 stars in my opinion. The banana milk donut was just ok, I experienced it but don't need to try it again. I give the banana milk donut a 3. The maple bar was AMAZING, so fresh and taste was phenomenal. I wish I could give the maple bar 5 stars but I have to give it a 3.5 because although it's delicious it's way too expensive for what you receive. It's very very small, for the price it should be a full size donut..... Next up the ube latte, it gets a solid 4. Very vibrant, fun and tasty drink. The Korean strawberry milk gets 0 stars, it didn't look as pictured and it was just a really bad drink. For over $8 I was expecting to love it but unfortunately money wasted on that.

I'm not saying I didn't like these donuts because they were good!! But I've definitely had better donuts in the Salt Lake area. The interior was not inviting and makes you want to grab your stuff and head right out. Which I guess is pretty normal because who's really hanging around a donut shop? This was my first visit and the staff were pretty friendly. They were happy to talk me through options and offer suggestions on what donuts to pick. We recently moved to SLC from the Midwest and I've struggled to find baked goods that compare. I think it's due to the elevation out here making baked goods textures a little denser. This was not the case with this apple fritter. It was the perfect ratio of crispy edges and soft chewy insides. The glaze was sweet but not cloying. The fritter was warm which made it extra tasty. I didn't try any other donuts but the fritter was definitely worth 4.5 stars. The location was very clean and organized. The service was fantastic. Great experience!

But I'm probably not going to be the person requesting the donut and ice cream concoction. It's just not for me. That said, I'm a fan of this place regardless. Some of them were little more than super sweet sugar bombs. (Cookie butter.) The PBJ one had a really bland, flavorless "strawberry" jelly in the middle. The pb icing was not very peanut buttery. It was very lackluster. I didn't finish it. The donuts may be better if they are filled with ice cream as is one of they're specialties. But, I may never know! Because I don't feel like going back anytime soon. Other than that the establishment seemed clean, and had plenty of seats and tables available.

The workers were nice and it was cool to see them make them in front of us through the glass. I got the Strawberry Shorty that had strawberry chocolate, white chocolate, fresh strawberries, cookie crumble, and whipped cream. It didn't have very many fresh strawberries at all, but it was delicious! My sister got the Funky Monkey that had Reese's peanut butter, milk chocolate, bananas and almonds. It was delicious also! So rich and creamy, I just wish it had more bananas with it. My dad got the Dulce De Leche that had white chocolate, Dulce De Leche filled, banana, and toasted coconut. Like the other two it was delicious! Just wish it had more bananas. We took ours to go and ate them at home. They traveled just fine and were still fresh by time we got home (20 minutes).
