I tried the pastrami sandwich and overall thought it was good. The pastrami had good flavor, especially with the Dijon mustard and balsamic vinegar, which added a nice tang and brought everything together. I got it on white bread with fries, and the fries came out crispy and paired nicely with the sandwich. Between the sandwich and the fries, it was a filling meal and I left satisfied. Where it fell a little short for me was the value. My total came out to around $21 with the fries, which felt a bit expensive for a sandwich meal, especially considering the amount of pastrami was fairly modest. It was enough to make the sandwich filling, but at that price point, I would have expected a little more meat to help justify the cost. That being said, I enjoyed the food and would come back to try some of the other sandwiches on the menu. With prices going up everywhere, I understand that eating out has gotten more expensive, but this still felt a little high for what you get. The one on 3300s was much bigger than it looked from the street. Staff was super friendly and helpful when it came to picking something from their menu. The 1/2 sandwich and soup combo was perfect for lunch. It also came with a drink and bag of chips. The roast beef wasn't dry and had flavor to it. They didn't skimp out on the portion for the protein either. The chicken noodle soup was good, nothing crazy. I believe I saw the owners talk to a group next to my table. They don't add sugar but it was really sweet and flavorful. They get their oranges from some local supplier, I'm going to have to ask them again the name because I want to eat these oranges. The sandwich was good, I had the turkey avocado. Everything was good. You have the choice of chips or side salad. The side salad was more than adequate. Contrary to the name, don't come here looking for a wedding gift-they don't carry toasters. ;-) However, you will find a variety of tasty sandwiches, pastries, soups and drinks. I visited on a cold, rainy day and the hot chicken noodle soup was just what I needed to warm me up. There's a decent amount of seating and the staff brings your food to the table and busses the dishes when you're done. It's fast casual, but with a bit more hospitality than the average place. Service was fantastic-even for our fairly large group that all ordered food and drinks. I have driven past this many times and finally had a chance to try it today when I was in search of a drive through (kid + indoor swimming pool + cold day means we needed a big lunch and didn't want to get out of the car). It was FANTASTIC. The drive through was so convienent and the employee was really helpful. The menu was huge so it was hard to pick. We got a bagel and cream cheese, strawberry smoothie, and the salmon wrap. All so good, and really the salmon wrap is so delicious. They are nicely salted and super crispy! I also tried Caputo's, another SLC sandwich chain, and I was pretty disappointed - Toaster's flavors and quality is unparalleled.
