The display cases were full of an assortment of goodies-and we opted to try a peanut butter cookie and a glazed donut-two solid choices that we were both happy with. So why the three star rating? The young lady who was working the register was so unwelcome that we felt awkward just being there. She gave off vibes of being annoyed and interrupted as well as incredibly bored. I would have loved to talk to someone about the history of the business and learn a little about why it's special, but she was barely interested in ringing up the order. Perhaps they can get by on their legacy alone, but with service like that, I'd be concerned if I were the owner.

It was perfectly sweet, but I feel like it should be more airy and crunchy. The kouign-amann here is really dense and stiff. However, I don't think this pastry was a loss because of the perfection in sweetness. Im glad I gave Delice a try, but I don't think I'll be back.
