I've always wanted to try this!! It lived up to the hype, best banana pudding!!! We came back twice in one week. They had a strawberry banana pudding special but was sold out both times we visited. Lines both times but it does go by quickly. Service is great!!

Came on opening day and although there was a line, it moved really quick! The staff is super friendly and were passing out water and samples of the banana pudding to try while we waited in line. The hummingbird cake (banana, pineapple, pecans, and cream cheese layered cake), banana pudding, and the strawberry crumble pudding were delicious! They also had a banana pudding bar with 4 different combinations of their banana pudding with other inclusions like red velvet and cookies & cream. So happy that Magnolia is now in Utah!

Two words Banana Pudding. If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and had one food to eat for the rest of your life, this would be it. It's worth the current wait in line... which was only about 10 min. All of the staff are super friendly. The owner even came out to greet everyone in line and thanked everyone for waiting in the blistering sun. The ambiance is cute like an ice cream parlor, bright and old school fun. It's very clean. There is seating inside and out. There are also delicious cakes, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, bars. They also serve dirty sodas, coffee and lattes.

Chocolate cake with the minimalist amount of frosting. Looks nothing like the original. :(

Totally bummed. Not the same. At all. Cupcakes and cakes have like 1/3 the frosting and the frosting tastes completely different...texture and taste. Service is outstanding and it's adorable. As a New Yorker and Angelo who lived across the street from both locations, this breaks my heart. Maybe foothill location will be better??

Outdoor seating, but the store wasn't open at 11:30 am on a Thursday even though the hours say they open at 9 am

The online hours show that Magnolia Bakery is open at 9am. Drove there specifically on a Thursday morning to pick up a birthday treat for a friend only to find that they have adjusted their hours and aren't open until Noon. Very disappointed that they didn't have the courtesy to post on the website. No problem, though, because our locally-owned Beaumont Bakery is open and we'll continue going there instead.

I stopped in on a Sunday morning hoping to have breakfast. There was nothing even close to a breakfast item.

I wanted to find a traditional French boulangerie in SLC but did not see one, Zut alors!…read more I know Paris Baguette is a chain and has an Asian twist so we decided to visit on Saturday morning before driving back to Boise. It was early, and it was already busy. TIPs & TRICKs Follow the rules: Get the tray, then the wax paper liner, then use the individual wax papers at the stations to grab what you want. While you're doing that, pay attention to the pricing, because it can add it. To see the plain butter croissants empty already was shocking, but when we told the employee she came back to not only stock it but came to us first and let us pick which ones we wanted off the tray That was very nice The pain du chocolat looked good and were lacking in depth and flakiness of the crunch The Chausson aux Pommes - was really good - They could have used another minute or two in the oven to get that golden brown. They were looking like the pastly white guy at the beach while everyone else had a tan The mochi Dubai Chocolate donut was very good. The total was almost fifty bucks.... I told my wife that we could have about 40 croissants for that price if we were in Paris. C'est la vie! Look for a chain - Its pretty good. I didn't try the coffee but if they ever show up in Boise metro area, I would check them out to see if they match up with SLC.
