Okay, this is a long one as I feel it's needed to actually feel the five star experience!…read more Majestic Mountain Inn, so cute! Family and I decided to take a night trip to Payson. Booked the room hours before arrival with only past experiences guiding my choices. We booked a queen room with two queen beds, photos showed a fireplace as well... I mean winter in Payson Az demands a fireplace... right? Done... booked... on our way. We arrived just before dinner. Once we pulled up, you see a quaint looking mountain hotel escape with one large two story building and several connecting little cottage looking rooms. The manager who checked us in (please forgive me for forgetting his name) had been very accommodating with our requests for more blankets and a lower level room. He also recommended the local pizza restaurant for dinner within walking distance. Our room was adorable and large! Two queen beds, a couch, fireplace and large vanity area with plenty of space for four. The beds were so comfortable and with the fireplace only, left us with a very cozy evening. Almost felt like you were in a secluded cabin in the woods. Also, I won't forget to mention, breakfast was included! Eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, biscuits, and gravy... so much to choose from. My husband has decided that this will be our "go-to" in Payson from now on. Thanks Majestic Mountain Inn for making our adventure more memorable! See you next time! I apologize for not having any Photos but we were too busy taking in the ambience of this town and making memories, I didn't even think to grab my phone.

When we arrived, I went to the front desk to check in and desperately needed to use the restroom. I was told there was no guest restroom and that the closest one was at QT across the street. What?! I had my hands full with luggage and a full bladder, and I was expected to go back to my car and DRIVE somewhere else just to use the restroom. I finally come back, check in, and get my keys--only to find that the keys don't work. So, back to the front desk I go. Once we finally get into our rooms, one of them has such a horrible smell that it actually made me nauseous. Then we find out the pool AND jacuzzi are both out of order. Seriously? The entire experience was frustrating, and the staff seemed completely apathetic about every issue. Do yourself a favor and keep driving. We had a much better experience at Comfort Inn. I would never stay here again. Quality what? The name definitely doesn't match the experience.

Probably been out for months! Nothing special. Got our room key around 3 or 4 pm to check it out. Stayed on first floor. We were not happy. There was a musk smell in the room. It reminded me of the 70's hotel rooms. One chair around the table for two queen size beds for possibly 4 people is crazy. Outdated carpet flooring, pop corn ceilings and bathroom tile looked nasty. We literally left and tried to do everything to not go back until we had to go to sleep that night. Tv only had cable channels and no smart tv choices. We had a hard time sleeping in this room but we couldn't get our money back due to the policy. Breakfast was good. We made something in the waffle maker and it was good. The room was a little hot though. Overall, I would never come back to this hotel unless they did some renovations.
