The service was quick and friendly, which made for a really pleasant experience overall. The pastries were very good and served warm, which I always appreciate. While I wouldn't say it was the absolute best croissant I've ever had, it was definitely what you'd hope for and left me feeling satisfied. One small thing I noticed was the free water jug. It may have just been an off moment, but it looked like there could have been a bit of mildew or mold present. I'm sure that's something that can be easily addressed, but I wanted to mention it in case it's helpful. Overall, still a nice spot with a lot to enjoy & even some interior seating that may be nice for doing some work. read more

We were delighted to find this independent spot that offers a perfect cappuccino- and from the looks of what others ordered-a whole lot more! Unfamiliar with Kookaburra coffee but can now vouch for its smooth deliciousness. We walked here from our place about 3 miles up Vilano Beach and returned each morning. My review is for the coffee! We came in for a quick stop before our boat tour at the pier, cute little shop, friendly staff, quick service and the coffee was yummy! My sister and I stopped in for some ice cream after dinner across the street. The service was fast and the ice cream was cold and refreshing. I ordered a scoop of butter pecan which was sweet and packed with nuts. The quality of ice cream was average but what really got my attention were all the pastries. Had I not just eaten ice cream I would have ordered some lol! They have several flavors of icecream to choose from and it looks like they were the only ice cream shop nearby. Lovely coffee shop. We had some coffee and hot chocolate early afternoon. This area was quiet and felt peaceful. The drinks were nice and service too. We sat outside which was super nice. Their porch is wide, spacious and has a variety of seating. We chose the comfy couch. This makes its ambiance nice. Only thing missing for me is music. If you are in the area, try them out and share your experience. They are also in walking distance from Vilano Beach. Happy coffee time. read more

This super cute coffee shop was super easy to get in/out of on a recent trip to St. Augustine. The team inside was very friendly and helped us to make decisions on our first trip to the store. My latte was very good, solid espresso with great flavor combinations. However, I would skip the croissant next time. It was dry and dense instead of being light and fluffy, like I had hoped. What an absolutely adorable shop! Plenty of seats outside, a few seats inside - a whole case of delicious looking desserts and ice creams. They do have a dessert labeled gluten-free, for celiacs it still would not be safe, but it looks tasty!! Walked in - was greeted immediately, while I do not drink coffee, they have a few teas to choose from. Within mere minutes. I walked out with a delicious cup of tea. Woke up at our hotel to a very unsatisfying cup of coffee. Stepped outside and found this local gem. It screamed local. I ordered the Cafe Americano. I enjoyed this medium roast no sugar and no creamer and just like that my day was back on track. We tried Vilano because it was within walking distance of our rental. We were a little concerned they did not have alternate milk options because it's nowhere on the menu, but they indeed do have oat, almond, 2% and whole milk which was weirdly important for our group. I know I'm only supposed to review for myself BUT I was with a group of 4 other very coffee motivated women and we ALL said the coffee was phenomenal. The funny thing is I'm not even that into coffee but my SF iced vanilla latte was so so good! Didn't taste like fake sugar like some sugar free options and the actual espresso tasted so clean and not bitter. They also had an assortment of pastries as well as ice cream, however I will have to try those next time. Love this convenient neighborhood shop! read more

So good! They crush their own beans and everything is perfect. I'm not even a coffee person but I decided to give it a go and glad I did. The porpoise point is delicious and not too sweet, the cortado is also really good! Their coconut cake was too die for and the croissant was pretty fresh even though they reheated it. Went for ice cream and sweets. Granted it was late and they were getting ready to close. Still the staff was not friendly or helpful. In fact they were rude with attitude. Zero customer service....There were no other customers in the place. No acknowledgment when we walked in. Three staff stood there simply staring at us, no welcome in, nothing, one played on her phone. No prices for anything posted. Got ice cream and staff said nothing the entire time....aside from we couldn't pay with a large bill. Will not be back....disappointed to say the least.
