We stopped by one day to grab a couple glasses of Prosecco and sit outside. It was empty and the two girls behind the counter seemed very confused in general. I ordered two glasses of Prosecco and she informs me that they are out of Prosecco. What!? I then order a can of IPA and a glass of white wine for my gf, which took way too long to get. Plus my beer wasn't even that cold and her wine wasn't good either. I asked about the cheese tray + wine and she looked confused. I asked her what cheeses came on it and she said she didn't know, but she'd find out, but never did. lol. I came here prepared to buy a bottle of Prosecco and a cheese tray to sit outside and enjoy with my gf but that didn't happen. If you are working at a place you should know the couple things that you do serve and know them very well. There also wasn't any clean glasses for the spa water. The deserts did look good but god forbid I asked either of them a question about them because they would have looked at me befuddled. I highly doubt I'll ever come back here again. Good luck with your questions and selections. read more

I wanted to like it here more than I actually did. Ambience wise, it's a cute little place with nice outdoor seating options in front and back. The cake pop was really the only item that drew praise from my crew. Breakfast croissants were "mid" per my teens... I now know what an overdone eggs tastes like. The "pancakes" were thick and more of a biscuit like consistency. Next time, will likely stick to the pastries in the window. read more

This little sweets shop is the perfect place to go after dinner or if you are looking for a wine tasting with your friends! We came here after dinner on vacation and really enjoyed it. There's so many cakes and sweets to choose from! There's also tons of coffee choices as well. We ordered the "Apple of your eye" Cake and it was delicious! It was huge and definitely shareable. We ordered one slice of goodness and were very happy with our decision! I'd definitely recommend checking this dessert shop out and support a local business. read more

And there's more sweets! The adorable bakery and cafe has coffee, desserts, wine, sandwiches, cheese boards, beer, and breakfast served all day long. You could be here from morning to evening and I don't think they would ever kick you out. It would be nice to have a bite of everything without the calories...lol! The frozen hot chocolate and tiramisu as well as the New York style cheesecake slices were our choices and we got them to go since we wanted to unwind at our temporary home before making another trip out again. The drink and the cheesecakes was amazing. It was delicate and not too rich with the flavors that we felt like we were overpowered by the taste. I recommend coming here if you are ever in the area. The personable staff and excellent service is what makes Chocolattes the gem that it is. I had no idea you could sit upstairs for peace and quiet, which is on my list to do next time. The best part is that everything is made from scratch, so that's what makes them come out with more delicious and unique sweets up their sleeves. Bravo! read more

Stopped in and bought this vegan strawberry cake on a whim today, and brought it back home as a little treat. Had no idea it would be so delicious!! My boyfriend took a bite and said "this is vegan??" Unreal. Cake was moist and flavorful, the frosting was sweet and thick, sooo good! Vegan dessert is not very easy to get right, but this definitely was a hit! The people working were also so kind and helpful, smiling and laughing along with me. Such a great experience! read more

I have walked by ChocoLattes so many times and never tried it. Stopped in for coffee to go. I ordered a hot latte with Irish cream flavoring and a tiramisu cake. Both were delicious. This is a cute little spot. There's seating indoors and outdoors. I had to take my things to go so I didn't get to stay and enjoy it. read more

Wow! I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place already. It's great! The coffee is wonderful. Had a cold brew today, light crème and hazelnut flavor. Deelish. The bakery is to die for! We shared a carrot cake bar with loads of fresh cream cheese frosting and the Nutella Pancakes; so good. The pancakes had Nutella thickly drizzled on top as well as chocolate syrup drizzled on top. It was a little too chocolatey for my daughter and I so we scraped some off and it was superb. The die hard chocolate lover would say, "yes please!" This is not the first time I have been here. Every time is great. The bakery is over the top with whole cakes or slices for sale along with an array of other scrumptious treats. The shop is in an historic old home and it is nicely decorated with great seating inside, out front and a sweet little backyard as well! The first time we were here there was a newly married couple sitting out front enjoying a coffee and treat right after their morning nuptials! It was so adorable. read more

Met here to go do the Grinchmas ride. If we hadn't had this as a rendezvous point, we never would have gone in here. It was soooo cute!!!! Limited seating, but there's a few tables outside. The hot chocolate is THE BEST IN TOWN!!!! It's Kilwin's chocolate, people!!! Can't get better than that. No powder in a packet. It's the real deal!!!! The desserts looked amazing! Service was quick. The gals were working hard to love the line along. They just didn't have much personality. read more

Coffee and pastry fix? Check ! Adorable side street location, chocoLattes was exactly what we were looking for , caffeine and sugar fix. Great indoor and outdoor seating, busy spot though! They warn you that orders may take awhile, as most places do these days. We didn't mind, as we were waiting on a outdoor spot. Got one when our food was ready. They also serve beer and wine! With a happy hour special everyday. A wide range of sweet treats to choose from and breakfast sandwiches. I got my chai latte, friends got the caramel macchiato and mocha. All coffees were really well presented and delicious, warm cups of goodness. We also shared the Lemon lavender scone and the chai apple scone. Warmed up both were amazing, very flavor rich, and moist and not overly sweet. Chai apple was my favorite as it was strong on flavor, but the lemon was really good too and vegan! Loved this bustling little place, perfect start to our day at ChocoLattes! read more

I ordered the caramel macchiato and let me tell you... this is the BEST caramel macchiato I have ever had. The flavor is rich and deep. My favorite place in St. Augustine. We have been going here as a tradition for years. The desserts are phenomenal. Even the Vegan Options are delicious. We stopped into this wonderful little spot for dessert on our first night in Saint Augustine. So glad we did! My boyfriend and I decided to share, as we were still pretty full from dinner. The slice was the perfect size to share, as it was wonderfully rich. It was like a delicious flourless chocolate cake with peanut butter topping. Absolutely amazing! I definitely will come back here again on my next trip to this beautiful city! read more

Super cute and very unique. This coffee, sweets and swine shop is a must busting when enjoying time in St. Augustine. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a Dirty Chai Tea Latte and it was super delicious. The staff was super friendly and the powder room was so clean and bright. If you are in the mood for something sweet while visiting Saint Augustine this is the place to visit. It's the cutest cottage with indoor and outdoor seating. Everyone is so friendly and will make recommendations if you aren't sure on what to order. I love cake, so I ordered the lemon blueberry cake which was one of the best slices of fruit filled cake I've had. They also offer unique flavored Frappe's like Oreo and Red Velvet which I had never seen before. We opted for the Oreo Frappe which was amazing. I will definitely return for another slice of cake. read more

Everything you need to satiate your sweet tooth. The coffee is wonderful and you can get any drink decaf for those people who clearly hate coffee lol. The only reason I give four stars (4.5 really) is really subjective. I didn't care for the cheesecake-- much too sweet. Also, the wide array of desserts should appease anyone, but know that they aren't made daily (which makes sense). A beautiful space with outdoor and indoor seating! read more

Oh my goodness, absolutely adorable little cafe and goodies shop that I highly suggest you go in! We actually just happen to pass by the area this was in and I was in need of a coffee for a refuel, so we popped in. I kinda wish we hadn't just eaten nearby cause all their desserts and pastries looked delectable!! They have house coffee which is really good with just a touch of chocolate notes. Kills any bitterness you may normally experience in coffee. The mocha was perfect. Take a look at the cakes!! (Pictured.) They were seriously huge and beautifully decorated. Grab a slice, and enjoy on site. There is seating inside and outside on the patio. If you head to the far back you'll note that they have back patio seating, too!! I bet at twilight time with those string lights, it's just gorgeous! Overall: A++ I love this place and we'll be back for sure! Need to try ALL the desserts!! :) read more

If I could rate zero stars, I would. One of the absolute worst customer service experiences of my life. I went in and ordered a beer with my wife. It appears that the beer that I ordered was out of stock. I saw the shopkeep pull out a different one and asked her if it was the one I ordered. She gave me an inconclusive answer and then poured it. I then asked her again if it was the right one and she said "oh no" we're out. She handed it to me as if it was no problem. Then when I seemed upset that she served me a beer I didn't want all she did was offer me the warm, room temperature display of the one I actually ordered. Please train your employees to offer solutions and more importantly to not presume that a substitute is okay. What a waste of seven dollars, hope it keeps the lights on. I also left this review on google. I'd now like to add on that I emailed the shop. (They haven't replied). However, you can see that they replied to this message with an extremely sarcastic answer. Poor service must start at the top I suppose. I'll attach a photo. It states that things were made clear to me. Like I said THEY WERE NOT EXPLAINED. On top of that, I was NOT offered a refund. That is a lie. What an absolute joke. read more

Decided to take a trip to ChocoLattes while I was nearby to try some cake. The shop was recommended by my wedding venue so I wanted to consider them as an option. I visited on a Sunday afternoon while no one was in line. The service was.. lacking. Since I didn't schedule a cake tasting, I just purchased two slices; one Salted Caramel and one Red Velvet. It took almost 10 minutes to receive those two to go slices of cake from the cooler. They definitely don't have the friendliest employees. The flavor of the cakes were good but sadly, they were a bit dry. I'm not so sure what happened with the red velvet cake but I'm guessing they ran out of food coloring at some point since two of the three layers were a different color. Overall, were pretty disappointed with the quality of the experience for the price. read more

Met a friend here for coffee and lunch. First time visit. We each had a decent iced latte. The "crepes" were another story. Not sure what the issue is as there were 3 staff and 4 customers. My friends crepe was the veggie and bland and dry, but edible. Not anything to reorder. My crepe had cold ingredients in the dry "crepe". I politely asked for it be cooked a bit more as the mushrooms were completely uncooked. They brought back a crepe with different ingredients and completely uncooked spinach. No seasoning. One bite was enough of a wretched crepe. No one ever checked on us or asked how anything was and it was not crowded inside. We could only recommend their coffee and teaching staff how to actually make crepes and check on customers. read more

Where have you been all my life!?? If you're in the area, you need to stop here for an amazing cup of coffee and a mouthwatering slice of heaven aka dessert. If you're looking for a breakfast place, they do serve breakfast here all day long. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The ladies behind the counter are super sweet and one even gave me a sliver of a piece of gingerbread cheesecake. There was so many delicious options of cakes that my mind was blown. This place was our first stop before doing some shopping and we even stopped here on the way back to the car for another cup of coffee. If you love it just as much as we do, they offer bags of coffee for sale. The cute heart as part of the logo is adorable and is located on merchandise it's self. We loved coming here and this will be a regular stop when I'm in Saint Augustine. read more

we went for a cupcake decorating class. it was $30 a person and I have to say I was disappointed. it wasn't a 'class' that would last almost two hours as we'd been told. it lasted about 30 minutes and kids received no instruction and were given 4 cupcakes to decorate. The kids were instructed to 'Have fun!" Honestly I could've done that at home....I paid the $30 because it was an instructional class. won't be rushing back here. read more

The name tells you everything you need to know: chocolate pastries, and custom lattes. This place is walking distance from St. George Street in St Augustine, and we visited it during our anniversary trip this past March. They have indoor and outdoor seating, a warm welcoming design, and free Wi-Fi. From what I understand, they work with other local businesses to get the ingredients to make their desserts. They have a lot of muffins and a large variety desserts, and I believe they had scones when we were there as well. They have some hot breakfast sandwiches, waffles, and pancakes on the menu. I tried one of the breakfast sandwiches, and it was very tasty. They offer a lunch menu as well, which I hope to check out on one of our future visits to St Augustine. On the beverage side of things, they have beers and wines, as well as several hot and cold varieties of coffee drinks made to order. My wife had the cafe mocha, and I had the Cafe Con leche. Both were very good. read more

I had been dessert deprived all week when I found this sweet little bakery. The flourless chocolate torte was heavenly.

Nice find on the back streets. My wife and I were walking by Flagler college for Christmas lights. I was looking for a place for a glass of wine and was heading towards Bin 39 at the north of the old city. My wife say this very cute place and the desert menu. I saw that they offered wine and in we went. The tuxedo cake was good but not the best I have had. The wine was OK but definitely not what Bin 39 has. I would keep this place in mind for coffee but not a great place for red wine. The pink moscato that my wife had was very sweet and sparkling so if you want a sweet wine with desert you are set. read more

ChocoLattes is a cute little shop with many options for coffees, teas, small bites and desserts. I love the location, which is off the beaten path. It's on a quiet street across from the cemetery, close to a couple of parking lots and around the corner from Scarlett O'Hara's. We had parked over that way and found this place by accident. And we were so happy we did! The room is cute and airy. Glass cases are filled with beautiful pastries. We enjoyed two different types of coffee drinks and shared a gorgeous piece of key lime cheesecake with raspberry drizzle. Everything was very tasty. The service was an added bonus. The two young men working that evening were friendly and helpful. Service with a smile makes everything taste better. I can't wait to return on my next visit and know this would be my go to spot if I lived in SA. I would recommend ChocoLattes for visitors looking to take a break from the hustle & bustle or for locals who are in the know! read more

First time at this bakery/restaurant little place and I whole heartedly recommend the bakery items. It was lunch time so we ordered sandwiches. I opted for the grilled cheese panini and while it was very small, it was pretty good. Not a whole lot of choices as far as sandwiches go though. Friends ordered BLT croissants and they were just so so. Seating is very very limited so keep in mind that if you want to eat lunch you will probably have to get your order to go. I did order some takeout dessert items (slice of peanut butter cheesecake, slice of red velvet cake, and slice of tiramisu cake) and they were fabulous. Personnel were nice but not super personable. read more
