We stopped by one day to grab a couple glasses of Prosecco and sit outside. It was empty and the two girls behind the counter seemed very confused in general. I ordered two glasses of Prosecco and she informs me that they are out of Prosecco. What!? I then order a can of IPA and a glass of white wine for my gf, which took way too long to get. Plus my beer wasn't even that cold and her wine wasn't good either. I asked about the cheese tray + wine and she looked confused. I asked her what cheeses came on it and she said she didn't know, but she'd find out, but never did. lol. I came here prepared to buy a bottle of Prosecco and a cheese tray to sit outside and enjoy with my gf but that didn't happen. If you are working at a place you should know the couple things that you do serve and know them very well. There also wasn't any clean glasses for the spa water. The deserts did look good but god forbid I asked either of them a question about them because they would have looked at me befuddled. I highly doubt I'll ever come back here again. The frozen hot chocolate and tiramisu as well as the New York style cheesecake slices were our choices and we got them to go since we wanted to unwind at our temporary home before making another trip out again. Stopped in and bought this vegan strawberry cake on a whim today, and brought it back home as a little treat. Had no idea it would be so delicious!! My boyfriend took a bite and said "this is vegan??" Unreal. Cake was moist and flavorful, the frosting was sweet and thick, sooo good! Wow! I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place already. It's great! The coffee is wonderful. Had a cold brew today, light crème and hazelnut flavor. Deelish. The bakery is to die for! We shared a carrot cake bar with loads of fresh cream cheese frosting and the Nutella Pancakes; so good. The pancakes had Nutella thickly drizzled on top as well as chocolate syrup drizzled on top. It was a little too chocolatey for my daughter and I so we scraped some off and it was superb. The die hard chocolate lover would say, "yes please!" This is not the first time I have been here. Every time is great. The bakery is over the top with whole cakes or slices for sale along with an array of other scrumptious treats. The shop is in an historic old home and it is nicely decorated with great seating inside, out front and a sweet little backyard as well! We actually just happen to pass by the area this was in and I was in need of a coffee for a refuel, so we popped in. I kinda wish we hadn't just eaten nearby cause all their desserts and pastries looked delectable!! They have house coffee which is really good with just a touch of chocolate notes. If I could rate zero stars, I would. One of the absolute worst customer service experiences of my life. I went in and ordered a beer with my wife. It appears that the beer that I ordered was out of stock. I saw the shopkeep pull out a different one and asked her if it was the one I ordered. She gave me an inconclusive answer and then poured it. I then asked her again if it was the right one and she said "oh no" we're out. She handed it to me as if it was no problem. Then when I seemed upset that she served me a beer I didn't want all she did was offer me the warm, room temperature display of the one I actually ordered. Please train your employees to offer solutions and more importantly to not presume that a substitute is okay. What a waste of seven dollars, hope it keeps the lights on. I also left this review on google. I'd now like to add on that I emailed the shop. (They haven't replied). However, you can see that they replied to this message with an extremely sarcastic answer. Poor service must start at the top I suppose. I'll attach a photo. It states that things were made clear to me. Like I said THEY WERE NOT EXPLAINED. On top of that, I was NOT offered a refund. Decided to take a trip to ChocoLattes while I was nearby to try some cake. The shop was recommended by my wedding venue so I wanted to consider them as an option. I visited on a Sunday afternoon while no one was in line. The service was.. lacking. Since I didn't schedule a cake tasting, I just purchased two slices; one Salted Caramel and one Red Velvet. It took almost 10 minutes to receive those two to go slices of cake from the cooler. They definitely don't have the friendliest employees. The flavor of the cakes were good but sadly, they were a bit dry. I'm not so sure what happened with the red velvet cake but I'm guessing they ran out of food coloring at some point since two of the three layers were a different color. Overall, were pretty disappointed with the quality of the experience for the price. read more

Met a friend here for coffee and lunch. First time visit. We each had a decent iced latte. The "crepes" were another story. Not sure what the issue is as there were 3 staff and 4 customers. My friends crepe was the veggie and bland and dry, but edible. Not anything to reorder. My crepe had cold ingredients in the dry "crepe". I politely asked for it be cooked a bit more as the mushrooms were completely uncooked. They brought back a crepe with different ingredients and completely uncooked spinach. No seasoning. One bite was enough of a wretched crepe. No one ever checked on us or asked how anything was and it was not crowded inside. We could only recommend their coffee and teaching staff how to actually make crepes and check on customers. read more

They have a lot of muffins and a large variety desserts, and I believe they had scones when we were there as well. They have some hot breakfast sandwiches, waffles, and pancakes on the menu. I tried one of the breakfast sandwiches, and it was very tasty. They offer a lunch menu as well, which I hope to check out on one of our future visits to St Augustine. I opted for the grilled cheese panini and while it was very small, it was pretty good. Not a whole lot of choices as far as sandwiches go though. Friends ordered BLT croissants and they were just so so. Seating is very very limited so keep in mind that if you want to eat lunch you will probably have to get your order to go. Nice find on the back streets. My wife and I were walking by Flagler college for Christmas lights. I was looking for a place for a glass of wine and was heading towards Bin 39 at the north of the old city. My wife say this very cute place and the desert menu. I saw that they offered wine and in we went. The tuxedo cake was good but not the best I have had. The wine was OK but definitely not what Bin 39 has. I would keep this place in mind for coffee but not a great place for red wine.
