I got the combo meal($19) with a Thai tea (+$2), spring roll, and combo pho (+$3). Food came out very quickly. Drink and appetizers came out in under 5 minutes and the pho within another 5 minutes. The spring roll and Thai tea were good. Pho was solid as it was on savory side which I prefer, but it wasn't the best I've had. Meat was good. For a Vietnamese restaurant it met my expectations. Staff was super friendly! Overall a good experience worth checking out if you are craving Vietnamese food! Food(50%): 7.3 Staff/service(25%): 9.5 Value(25%): 8.0 Overall: 8.0/10

I ordered through Uber Eats and the food was amazing! The service was great! It was delivered by Richard and he delivered just perfectly! I ordered the Grilled Combo V and it was delicious! I ordered it with less noodles and it was just perfect! I will definitely be ordering from here again!

This place has the best customer service, bar none! We ordered pho and grilled chicken with rice. My chicken was unfortunately pink; when I flagged it, they immediately replaced it and took it off our bill. They were apologetic and kind. Overall the food was delicious. I would come back again for sure. Wish I took more pics of the food, but here's the restaurant to give you an idea of the ambiance.

Everything is super fresh, authentic, and tastes amazing. This family owned shop is one of the best in the area.

Viet Fire Kitchen is exactly the kind of place you hope to find but rarely do, a true small family owned spot where you can feel the care in every detail from the moment you walk in. The food is consistently outstanding, with rich, authentic flavors that taste like they come straight from a home kitchen rather than a commercial operation, and everything feels fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and made with pride. The portions are generous, the menu has something for everyone, and the balance of flavors is honestly better than most larger Vietnamese restaurants. What really stands out though is the warmth behind it all, you can tell this is a family pouring their heart into the business, and that makes the experience feel personal in a way that big chains just cannot match. It is the kind of place you want to keep coming back to and also tell everyone about because it deserves the support.

I was in the area for work and the weather was brutally cold so I felt a bowl of Pho would warm me up, the restaurant was conveniently located near my hotel with lots of free parking. Inside I found the restaurant cozy and the staff attentive. I ordered 33. Huey style beef noodle soup and seafood fried rice to go and Viet Coffee. Everything tasted very good and the seafood fried rice had large pieces of real seafood. Overall very good I would eat here again.

Their original spot in Manassas was forever on my list to visit, but it was just never on the way. SO happy this is open close to home! No doubt, the best crab cakes I've had in Virginia. Besides the crab cakes, we also liked the shrimp. The fish and the wings were just fine, but nothing exceptionally special in our opinion. Don't skip out on the hush puppies! Our first visit last summer we came at 5pm and thought we'd be fine getting a table for 3- it was the very last one. I guess depending on the day and time it can get packed!! The wait was longer than I expected, but understandable considering how busy they were- it seemed like everyone showed up at the same time. Vibes were good, their music playlist was great. After that first visit though, we just always pre-order online.

The crab cake is not full of breading and filler like a lot of crab cakes, so I was happy with that. I got the "Goliath" crab cake platter, which came with hush puppies and a side, and I paid the extra $2.50 for the seafood salad. The hush puppies were cooked perfectly and were pretty tasty, a little sweet like I prefer them, and also pretty filling. I was a bit disappointed in the seafood salad since the dressing that is used overpowers the taste of the imitation crab, which is what I wanted to taste. I love the sweetness of the crab, but didn't taste it at all. Overall, I was happy with my food but I can't say I will eat here very often as my meal was $42 without including the tip, and for one person and a meal that barely filled a to go box it's a bit much. However, if I crave a crab cake sandwich, I will stop in again and try that.

Started with an espresso martini, a smoked Old Fashioned, and the fritto misto to share. Everything was really good. Then we split the lamb burger and the shrimp risotto for lunch. Both were excellent, although I think the risotto edged out the burger. Our server Mike made the whole experience. Before he even brought us water, he showed up with a bowl for Onyx. Come on, that's an instant five stars in my book. We ended up talking wine with him for a good part of the afternoon. He had us sample a few different pours before we landed on a Nebbiolo we loved. Later, after another conversation about wine, he brought over a taste of a white we'd never even heard of because he thought we'd enjoy trying it. It never felt like an upsell. It just felt like talking with someone who genuinely enjoys wine and likes sharing it with people. Relaxing patio, great food, excellent cocktails, and genuinely memorable service. We'll definitely be back, and Onyx probably will too.

The food was beautifully presented and the wine pairing was superb. Definitely recommend having them pair your wines. The grilled shrimp was a great start. The sparkling rose made the shrimp taste even better. The goat cheese ravioli was probably my favorite savory dish of the evening. The sweet sage-maple syrup-tomato sauce was fantastic. The Sancerre was pleasant with it, although I thought the ravioli itself was more impressive than the pairing. I had to order bread so the sauce wouldnt go to waste. I ordered the lamb medium rare, but it arrived closer to medium, and initially it was somewhat underseasoned. After adding salt and pepper and getting some of the thyme from the plate into the bite, the lamb became significantly better and worked better with the Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The creamed spinach underneath was delicious on its own, but I didn't enjoy it with the wine. Interestingly, the absolute highlight of that wine pairing was the braised garlic. The sweet, mellow garlic and Châteauneuf-du-Pape were wonderful together. Dessert was the highlight of the entire pairing. The lavender ice cream was outstanding, the Chantilly surrounding it was light and delicious, and the strawberry sauce wasn't overly sweet. The Sauternes was excellent with the dessert, particularly with the fresh strawberry. This was the pairing where the food and wine truly made each other better. Even though I was one of the last diners of the evening, I never felt rushed. My server was very attentive and social which I love. It was very romantic and yet comfortable enough that dining alone wasnt awkward. I'd happily return.

What a wonderful experience! The restaurant is a very, quite spacious and very welcoming. It's right next to a lake and so the setting was lovely. They have a very varied menu and they also have a large gluten-free menu. We both had the lobster bisque as a starter and then we both ordered the fish tacos. The soup was filled with lots of lobster meat and was delicious. The fish tacos were made with cod and the waiter mentioned that the slaw had some habanero chile in it. I asked if it was spicy and he said it might have a slight kick, but was not spicy. He was absolutely correct and in fact, if he hadn't mentioned the habanero I would not have picked up on it at all. It was really good. If you order bread, (and you have choices on type), you are charged I think a dollar per order, but that is donated to help people who are food challenged. We were full from our dinner, but we could not pass up an order of key lime pie for dessert, which we shared. It was a hard choice because they had a special dessert which was chocolate peanut-butter pie. I wish we could have had both. Their other desserts also sounded great. By the way, a portion of their revenues from desserts are also donated to help those who need food assistance. I was very impressed that they do that. Nothing exceptional but good quality, good food And a fair amount of steak in mine for $16. I wish I could say the same about the service or lack there of provided by the two young female servers. For starters, they have zero communication skills. They drop things at the table and just stand there without a word. I did not receive the Vietnamese coffee that I ordered until I asked for it nor was I asked whether or not I wanted it with whipped cream - there's was no description on the menu so I wasn't aware it came with whipped cream. When we placed our order we asked for extra cilantro and received no cilantro at all. Once the runner delivered our food no one came over to ask how everything had turned out, if we needed anything else etc. The lack of communication, lack of attention to detail and quite frankly complete lack of personality turned a pleasant afternoon meal into a disappointment. However, the rest of the meal was a major disappointment. The Egg Fried Rice was bland and not worth ordering. The Crispy Duck: A Major Letdown I usually love Crispy Duck, but they completely messed it up. While the skin was crispy on the outside, the meat was totally raw on the inside. It had an unappealing smell, suggesting it wasn't cooked properly at all. It was served on top of white rice, which offered no flavor or value to the dish, aside from the sweet soy sauce.
