Dine-in, Sep 18, 2021, outdoor seating. Well, this place used to be an old Vietnamese restaurant but closed during COVID. It's finally reopened as a new restaurant with a new name, new decor, new dishes, and new everything. Food wise, it's pretty good. We only had pho, but I can concur that the normal pho got some good soup, portion is also generous. I had a different kind of pho called beef spicy lemongrass soup. I had the best of the kind spicy lemongrass soup in Florida once, and it haunted me, it was so good I was having a hard time to find pho in my home turf. The spicy lemongrass rice noodle soup I have here is the closest one I have compare to my Florida dream pho, with delicious, flavorful yet not spicy soup plus sliced beef and pork. The only compliant I have about the soup was that the pork feet is not as flavorful as the beef in the soup, probably stewed separately and dumped in the soup. Given the texture of pork feet, certain audience may not like it. I have given my advice to the waiter and I still recommend the pho. Service wise, this place definitely needs improvement. Not that the waiter or waitress are rude or anything - they are nice people, but they are simply really short handed, I mean really really short handed. VietFire posted hiring ad on the door and I sincerely hope they get their headcount soon, else it may hurt their new business precisely when they need good word of month the most. I stopped by maybe 15 minutes before the closing of the restaurant and the owner showed nothing but love! The pho was absolutely amazing! It was extremely hot and very delicious! The portion size is normal but the flavors are spectacular! The ambulance of the restaurant is beautiful! He said he opened up during Covid and he's loved it ever since! This was the worst pho I've had in a very long time. Absolutely no flavor to the broth. Would never order it again. I also ordered the spring rolls which were a joke. The lettuce wasn't even authentic lettuce that's usually in a spring roll, it was shredded romaine. The pho ga is some of the best I've ever had. The combo (appetizer-entree-drink) is a great deal for lunch (or anytime).

Went here with my daughter the other night. I ordered the pork banh mi sandwich. It was good but on the smaller side. My daughter got the regular sized chicken pho. The portion size was larger than your average pho place. However, I thought the broth was pretty bland. I also thought the prices were a tad expensive. The new favorite viet restaurant in the area. Food is authentic, flavorful, and fresh. Restaurant is new and clean with a nice aesthetic. Should've taken more pics but here's the rundown of some of my fav dishes today: 1. Bo Tai Chanh (beef in lime salad/sauce) - basically thinly sliced beef ceviche style where it's cooked by the acidity of lime juices in herbs served over salad 2. Pho Ap Chao Thap Cam (pan fried noodles) - got the combo style which comes with veggies, shrimp, beef and chicken. Noodles are so fresh. Sauce is just right 3. Shrimp Fried Rice (com chien tom) - perfectly fried. Rice was fresh. Pieces were crisped perfectly in a wok before being tossed with shrimp. Perfect texture and flavor 4. Hot (Cast) Iron Pot Rice - let it sit so the rice can crisp on the bottom before eating. So good and the only place in the area that offers iron pot rice. FINALLY, GOOD VIETNAMESE IN LOUDOUN! Loudoun has always had a several Vietnamese restaurants which made decent Pho and were just OK at everything else. So whenever I got a craving for good Vietnamese, it required a trip to Eden Center in Falls Church. After 3 visits to Viet Fire Kitchen, I can say that trek to Eden Center is no longer necessary. The hot iron pot rice dishes are nice and well executed. Their grilled lemongrass beef was tender and flavorful. I was particularly impressed by their Seafood Crispy Noodle dish because the seafood was perfectly cooked (not overcooked like most Vietnamese restaurants). The lychee tea was outstanding. Make sure to order a pitcher of that for your table to share. The only thing I wouldn't order again is the Pho. But to their credit, the manager said she is planning on improving the recipe because she isn't satisfied with it either. I'm impressed with the owner who obviously has high standards and pursues excellence. It's a good bet this place will be even better in the future. read more

My daughter and I went for lunch. It was delicious! The spring rolls were filled with actual meat and fresh vegetables, not just stuffed with glass noodles. We had the fish sauce wings. They were so plump, big and juicy yet so very crispy. The beef hot pot was served in a piping hot cast iron dish with crispy rice, tender beef, fresh veg and quail eggs. It was so good, especially how the rice crusted on the bottom. We also had the lemon grass pork with vermicelli noodles. Again, the vegetables were so fresh and perfectly cooked along with the pork itself flavored deliciously with lemon grass. Was looking to eat good vegetarian pho without having to go all the way to loving hut when we yelp landed on this place. We were there on a Sunday evening and the place was starting to get busy around 5:30 pm. We saw a bunch of golfers showing up after playing the nearby golf course (1757) and it seemed to be the owner is a golfer as well. We got seated quickly- beer selections were somewhat limited so passed on and drank some tea while ordering and waiting. We ordered the fried spring rolls, vegetarian pho and the veggie cast iron pot. They don't do customized spice levels but they have sauces ( chili oil,sriracha) at the table so you can move the spice needle up on your own. While we were waiting one of the staff that talked to us said they make the best vegetarian Pho in the side of the town. The food that came out was pretty good and tasty. Pho was very good ( but probably a close second to loving hut ) and the cast iron pot was great as well. Overall I liked the food and I am glad to see that they have so many vegetarian choices here. Absolutely worth coming for sure! As it relates to the service. It was decent but they were super busy. It looked like a family run business and the lady that was serving us was literally in diner dash mode through the time we were there. Hence, we did get our spoons and forks slightly late. I am somewhat kind her by not taking a star for the service challenges primarily because the lady was very apologetic and was very cheerful personality. I suggest the owner look at staffing and fix it because I think it is only a matter of time it it is not fixed for them to get some not so good ratings just because of lack of help. It is always a good sign when you see folks that are of the same country as the food eat there. That was certainly the case here. I stopped by here for a dinner date and was not disappointed. The establishment is fairly new but their food is exquisite. I only eat halal meat and unfortunately, a lot of pho restaurants do not offer either a full veggie option or a good hearty broth base with the veggie option. Viet Fire offers a full vegan pho bowl but what sets it aside is the flavor and creativity used. There were 3 types of tofu (regular, crispy and infused) and I've never had anything like it. The fact that I was able to enjoy all 3 types instead of playing pick n choose was such a delight. Oh and that infused tofu? Impeccable. In addition, the broth was super hearty and dancing with deep flavors. Interior wise, it's a cute setting for a lunch date or hangout. I ordered the wrong thing - my fault, because I'm used to spring rolls not being fried. I wanted the raw wrap with shrimp inside. Not sure what the call it here... maybe the summer roll? There's one listed on the menu. Had to turn mt phone sideways to read it, but that's vegetarian. There's a picture of it that clearly shows shrimp. So my bad on that, but buyer beware if you're also expecting a roll that's not fried. That said, what i got, which was probably standard fare, was delicious. It also came with a garnish of some lettuce, carrots and onion, which I enjoyed as well. I also ordered the beef Banh Mi sandwich. If you're expecting jalapenos, you're good, and maybe can ask for more. I'm not into hot, so once I hit one of the seeds, i had to take them out. I could probably have handled them - or removed the seeds -- but they give me hiccups and I didn't want them to affect my experience with the sandwich. There was only one cucumber slice that I saw on the half I ate. It's a big sandwich, maybe 8 inches long. More cucumber would have been good. And even some of those carrots served with the spring roll. The beef was tasty, and the bread was on point! Those, and the freshness of the ingredients - which they nailed - are key to making this excellent. The third thing i ordered were fried bananas. I didn't expect much from these because I was raised on fried bananas (southern US cuisine) as well as learned ti love and make fried maduros (ripe plantains), but thought I'd throw them in there. The price ($5) surprised me, being so high. There were 6 good size strips, in that they were cut lengthwise, and were each about half a banana long. They were coated in something prior to frying, and then sprinkled with sesame seeds afterwards. These were very good, best I've had in a restaurant. Far above more oriental restaurants' attempts. Not as good as at home, but delightful. Mind you, i also took these to-go, so items suffered a bit from a good steaming in containers before I dug in. They might be better than homecooked if freshly served. The decor was beautiful- wonderful orchids near the entrance and what looked like a bar, but might be a work area, toward the back. Either they're just fresh or someone has a green thumb. These were exquisitely maintained orchids, resplendent with flowers. There are also 2 tvs going, one showing scenes of a city in Vietnam, and the other scenes of the coast where unique rocky lush mountains fall into the sea amid beaches. Gorgeous! On one wall is drawing of the new golden bridge built near Danang in 2018 for pedestrians, that features a gold bridge threading between the mountains and the moss-covered rock hands of "God" that's quickly become a popular spot, and probably a UNESCO world heritage site one day. In another wall is a map of Thailand. I will have to order those summer rolls with shrimp tomorrow. read more

Five stars all the way! This place is brand new and the decor is sooo cute and clean and cozy! The service is really fast and the servers are so nice and very attentive. This is a little family run business and they are working really hard! It was kind of empty on a weeknight but there were some people still dining in which is good! I hope they do really well. The food here is totally incredible. When you are craving Vietnamese food do you need to come here! I tried the vegetarian crispy spring rolls and it was better than a lot of Thai restaurants that I have been to. The spring roll itself was so flaky and delicious. I also tried the summer rolls which was really tasty and super fresh. I was craving lemongrass chicken and let me just say the serving sizes are massive! Definitely enough for three meals. Decided to try this place for lunch when it randomly popped up as something new on Yelp. It's a little closer than other Vietnamese places we've gone, so figured, why not. When we arrived, we were the only people there, but the place started filling up shortly after. We were greeted by who I think was the manager, who made some recommendations prior to our order. We decided to get the pork vermicelli and pork bahn mi with egg rolls to start. The egg rolls came shortly after with their standard fish dipping sauce. Not the best egg rolls I've had, but certainly not the worst. We had to wait a little while for our main food, probably because a lot of to-go orders were also coming in. I do wonder if they are generally slower if there's a big crowd of in house and to-go dining. However, both items came, less than 20 mins later and didn't disappoint. The vermicelli was a decent size, but I would have wanted more picked veggies since they were so good. The pork also had nice flavor, not too heavy on the lemongrass. My husband said the bahn mi was good, and wanted more veggies as well. I wonder if we could have asked for more? We both left pretty full and would like to go back to try the pho when it gets colder. read more

I ordered the beef iron pot rice, summer rolls and a strawberry lychee green tea. I was beyond satisfied. Everything was so delicious. The tea was perfect and refreshing. Not too sweet. The summer rolls were great as well. The star for me was the iron pot rice. Who knew how delicious crispy rice would be, and how perfectly it compliments delicious beef and fresh crispy veggies.
