The food and ambiance is great, the service is really bad though. We've been there twice now and both times we received our food before they provided us with silverware. I asked one of the managers for utensils and even she had a hard time finding some, we she did find it, I had to step in front of her to get it, she just smiled and gave it to me without an apology. We looked around and saw other patrons experience the same. We ran out of water while eating, we had to flag our waitress down to order more water and we were done with our meal before she returned with any. They have a serious gap in their process, they have plenty of workers cleaning tables so they can get more people in but lack the attention to their current customers in order to provide a great dining experience. Focus more on your customers and money will follow. read more

First of all, congrats for being busy, but if others have the experience we had, the crowd will start to thin out. We were seated on the patio, which initially didn't seem that bad since they had fans. Here's the rub. They seated our party of six at a table with a puddle of water from the earlier rain under it. My daughter's shoes, socks, and the bottom or her pants were soaked. When she complained to our server, he said ... "ok." Wait. What? Ok? How about taking that squeegee over there and getting some of this water out? Completely clueless. Then there were the flies. Don't get me started. So atmosphere and service "F." Now the most important part ... the food. Most of our party seemed to enjoy their food ok, but I had the Baja fish tacos. Zero flavor. They seemed really proud of their food but more attention was paid on presentation than taste. So the food "C-." Make sure to read till the end to find out why I gave this restaurant 5 stars. When I initially walked in, I was taken back by the overall design of the interior. It was very well done and the lighting was just right. I was shown to my table and within a few minutes, a young gentleman brought out some chips and salsa and a water. The chips were well seasoned and still nice and warm. The red and the green salsa were both equally delicious. Shortly after, Valeria (my waitress) politely greeted me and took my order. I already knew what I wanted from seeing a previous review. I ordered the EL CHURRASCO. It's a 10 oz Pasilla Crusted Skirt Steak, Chimichurri, Lime Crema, and Smoked Potatoes. About 10 minutes or so went by and Valeria brought my entree out. It looked incredible!!! I quickly found out that looks weren't everything. I attempted to cut into the steak and realized that not only was the knife somewhat dull, but the steak itself was quite tough, although it was still medium rare-ish. However, It did have a great flavor. I decided to move over to the potatoes. The exterior/skin was rather hard and even the inside seemed quite a bit over done. The waitress came by shortly after and I politely informed her of the slight issues with my food. She immediately insisted on making it right, all while maintaining a smile. After talking with the waitress for a few moments, I agreed to letting them remake it. 10 minutes or so went by and she returned with the new and improved El Churrasco. I took the backside of the knife and barely pressed onto the potatoes and it instantly punctured it. Good sign number 1. I then slightly pressed onto the steak and I could tell immediately that it was perfectly cooked. I cut into it and tried a bite and instantly fell in love with the perfect mixture of flavor and texture. At one point, I told Valeria how much I loved chimichurri. She decided on her own to bring me out a side of their chimichurri rice to try. Of course it was amazing. Queso and drinks were very good, I'd go back for that, and the rest was not so great. A small plate of steak fajitas were a chunk of unedible tough meat and almost no grilled veggies. The managers have been so kind and understanding in a few situations, professionals who care about their guests, their staff, and your overall experience. My husband and I were attended very well by the bar employees. They made sure we to consistently check in to see if we needed another drink or appetizer. I was all about the Tulum vibes and the music. We visited Vidorra for the first time on a Wednesday afternoon. The ambience was great. Staff was great. The food and drink didn't match the vibe. Drinks were tasty but very weak and required a topper. The empanadas were very dry, (way overcooked) flautas were dry. Once they got the entree right, it was okay. We are not fluent in Spanish, and I think that made a difference...the folks next to us seemed to be having a really good time and their food came out fast. read more

We love this new place in Rockwall! It feels like you just walked into Tulum! They even have blankets at all the tables on the beautiful patio. It is very nicely done. They do bring you hot chips with 2 salsas, both were really good. We had the street tacos, which were really small, but very flavorful. Our server Kevin, did a great job and was right on top of it. Vidorra Rockwall location is a new favorite! Best Tex-Mex/Mexican food you'll get in rockwall by far! Service was spectacular as well, from entering the building until we left. The ambiance is nice but did not like how the seating outside is very close. We were basically sandwiched between two table at less than arms length so we asked to be moved. The chips and salsa was good. The red sauce tasted better and had more flavor than the green sauce. The Elote was good but needed more of the cream topping. Came in for lunch and wasn't so sure at first. Really pretty decor and walls. But it is extremely dark in the restaurant and it was difficult to navigate to the bathroom. Bathroom was very clean. Music was loud and we struggled to hear our server even when we asked for them to repeat and speak up. Food was very good! Honestly best taco salad I've ever had.
