What a beautiful restaurant! I love all of the decor and the ambiance of this place. The service was FANTASTIC! Food was also really good! I highly recommend the queso and the birria tacos. They are to die for. However, the sour cream chicken enchiladas were quite flavorless and bland. Wouldn't recommend those. Our server said they are the second most ordered item on the menu and I don't understand why. Anyways, the margaritas are really good and the prices are fair. I can't wait to come back to try more of their food. Another plus is that the plating of each dish is simply beautiful! People eat with their eyes before they eat with their mouth and it's very clear that Vidorra knows just how to deliver! read more

Vidorra - Dessert tray! - Mexican Near Me - Rockwall, Texas

Just face it, you're always going to have a ball at Vidorra! I'm happy to hear about its expansion. Must be making mega coin$! Right off the highway, you can't miss it, bold and bright! They just opened so I won't go too hard on them but NO DIET SODA in this establishment at all?!? Really, fam? We're in rockwall....close to the lake...east of Dallas....not pleasant grove, not highland hills, but ROCKWALL, Texas with not a diet/zero sugar drink in sight! Made an individual in my party not a happy camper but I was good with my vidoritta with tajin on the rim. Our bartender even made it less sweet for me. What a rockstar! After getting our order wrong, they made it right. Chips were fab as always and the quesadillas were no different from the other locations, perfect! I'm ecstatic I finally have a Vidorra close to my neck of the woods; about to be on and PAHPIN!!!! read more

Love This place nice environment beautiful decorations. It's like it's own world inside of another world. The seating outside is beautiful and merges at the bar read more

As I write this, I am still sitting at the table waiting for the server to return to get my payment for the bill. We have been here nearly an hour and a half at lunch and they were not extremely busy. The food was great, even though my order and my son's orders were wrong. The server never returned to check on us even though she would visit neighboring tables. I had to ask her to change the bill since what I ordered was more expensive than the meal I received. It will be a long time before we consider returning. read more

Amazing food! Very courteous. Nice vibes. I would recommend to family and friends. Also nice for date night

The food was ok but the waiter and set up was kind of horrible. It was a Saturday at 5/6 so thought it would be better but I was wrong. We definitely had a good time but you're paying for ambience and atmosphere not for quality food or service. Drinks were great once you got them. read more

Honestly, where do I even start? From beginning to end my experience at Vidorra Rockwall was probably one of the worse experiences me and the party I was with had. The hostess was proactive and friendly, but once me and 4 of my other girlfriends got seated is where the nightmare started. Our waitress Tania from get go was unprofessional, unfriendly and treated our table like is was a pain to serve us. The service was so terrible that we requested to see the manager 3 times, and she would say " No, no worries, I will take care of everything, no need to ask for the manager" We had our reservations were for 6PM, and we didn't get to do the actual food order till 7:15PM. I can go on and on about our horrible experience, but honestly it's not worth my time to continue with this Spanish soap opera. I been to Vidorra before and I had wonderful service, but this waitress Tania, really needs some customer service lessons. Our ladies's night out started and ended with a bad taste on our mouth. Never again! read more

Nice place. Great bar. We went for Happy Hour and had 2 margaritas each and shared the queso (giant piping hot volcano bowl) 1st time here. Will definitely be back. read more

I stopped in after a long day at work and sat at the bar. I was pleased to see they have a happy hour. The menu options during happy hour consisted of 1/2 off most appetizers and $6 margs from 3pm-7pm. I opted for the empanadas and a mango margarita, both were delicious. The empanadas came out piping hot with nice flavorful filling and the pastry was perfectly fried. The mango flavor on the marg was so delicious, while the drink was not strong the flavor was definitely there. read more

Nice environment for a great food and drinks. Super helpful and friendly staff, looking forward to the next time.

Went for lunch and really enjoyed the first time visiting. Margaritas were good size for the price and food looked great. I enjoyed the outdoor patio and the decor. Will definitely be. Back to try more menu items. I had the lunch portion chicken quesadillas and a couple of Vidorritas. The margaritas tasted great, not too sweet and the right amount of tequila in my opinion. The watermelon salad looked interesting and I will definitely try one of those soon. read more

Crowded, noisy and average food quality. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the Harbor that is completely obscured by fake plants and decor. It could have been so much better. read more

Food, service, drinks, ambiance all 10/10. Loved the vibe and decor here. Definitely separates themselves from any other restaurant option in Rockwall. The Verde Molcajete bowl was so good and big enough to split (but instead I just wolfed it down myself ). A Night in Tulum drink was perfect...I can't handle too sweet and this was just right. Husband had the burrito and said it was a step above other burritos because it had a nice smoky flavor and generous portion of meat. Wish we had gotten our servers name - he had great suggestions. He pointed us in the right directions when we were torn on things or needed a recommendation. read more

I can say why the wait can take a bit longer since Vidorra is right off the harbor in Rockwall. My Family and I decided to give them a try. Started with some great and delicious drinks. Hands Down!!! Our server John was great when asked for recommendations. My wife got the Chicken fajitas and she said they were delicious. On my food options I believe I order the wrong plate. I ordered the Pollo de Crema, which was definitely not what I expected, the chicken was just flavorless and I thought it would be a chicken breast, but it was actual fried chicken. Maybe next time I'll try their enchiladas or tacos. The Molcajetes are good also. The place had great atmosphere and great music. Will definitely come back but this time I'll try something else. read more

The service here is absolute garbage. I have been here far too long for 2 entrees. Waiter was more interested in playing with the kid of the single mom at the next table. Food was average. Music too loud. Don't waste your time. read more

I came here with my husband and in-laws for happy hour on a Friday evening. This place looks and feels as though you're somewhere in Mexico. Beautiful and definitely insta worthy. They were busy but the wait wasn't long at all. We only had a few mins left for happy hour but our waiter Kevin was absolutely amazing. He was able to take everyone's order with the happy hour pricing. They gave us complementary chips and salsa . The chips have a wonderful seasoning and the salsas were fresh and tasty. As appz we opted for the chicken flautas. They were fresh delicious and nicely dressed with queso cheese dip on the side. We also ordered the guacamole which I didn't eat but the others thoroughly enjoyed . Lastly we also ordered the loaded trompo street fries which were absolutely delicious but super filling. I ordered the passionfruit and peach frozen margs, the passion fruit was by far my favorite! As an entre I ordered the taco salad which was crisp and refreshing. I will definitely be back ! read more

My husband and I decided to have a date night here. Luckily we went early (around 4-ish) on a Friday and we were able to grab a table before the rush. As mentioned in other reviews, the music was very loud. But we were still able to have a nice time. We shared a queso which came out in a large sizzling bowl. Yum! My street tacos and side of elotes were super delicious. My husband ordered the barbacoa enchiladas which were ok; he said he's probably try something else next time. The waiter was attentive and friendly. We'd go back to try other menu items. read more

Alexiz was such a great server. very knowledgeable about the menu and made my lunch experience here fun.

I was there for my nieces graduation dinner and it was amazing. We were first met by Carrie at the front door. She is so warm and inviting. Carrie helped us get a drink while waiting for our table to be ready. We were a little early. She recommended a wonderful margarita. Carrie is a treasure for sure. Our sever Hailey was so nice and took care of our big party effortlessly, she was wonderful also. The food is fantastic and I highly recommend. I really enjoyed our evening there. I'm from Las Vegas, Nevada so if I ever come back to town, I'll be eating here for sure. Thank you for an amazing graduation dinner. read more

Really loved the vibes of this restaurant! So much plant decor. We felt like we were on vacation! The chips and salsa were good. Some drinks were really tasty. I wasn't a big fan of the frozen margaritas. They had too much sugar. All the food we tried was yummy. I love the volcanic stone meals presentation. The sauce wasnt my favorite, but the meat was high quality. Service was quick. Restaurant was fully packed on a Sunday. They said they will start their brunch menu next week! read more

Started with the white queso. It's pretty good although it should come with taco meat some other protein options. Beef fajitas did not come out medium rare, but were more well done. But they were good. Charro beans over the black beans all day long. Birra tacos are very wet...and it's not so much a consumme as a bit of a greasy dip. The tacos didn't need it, so I didn't use it. Rice was good. Chips were good. Red salsa preferred over the green. So fresa drink was pretty good. Didn't feel like they skimped on the alcohol, so that's a plus. read more

The restaurant had many empty tables. For one person was a 10 - 15 min wait. For us we were told 20 or more. We sat out on the patio were the heat was extremely overwhelming. The drinks took forever longer then 10 minutes. Food was not good. The jalapeño seeds thrown ontop of the fajitas caused too much heat. The onions were thrown on at the last minute and not cooked. Sad dinner. Overpriced and unsatisfactory. Manager never brother to interact with customers. He was bust with the hostess station. read more
