The food here is really good--fresh, flavorful, and worth coming back for. But the music? So loud. Like, why is it club-level volume in a restaurant? I literally had to shout my order and still wasn't sure if it was heard correctly. Great vibes are one thing, but I'd love to actually hear the person across from me--or the server. Turn it down a notch and this place would be an easy 5 stars. read more

Food is great, drinks are excellent and service is top notch. The restaurant has the feel of Costa Rica and Tulum. Can't wait to go back!

Never had a terrible experience at vidorra until now, I've had bad but never terrible. My BARTENDER checked on me once, it was a scrawny blonde girl who never gave us her name and seemed relatively new because she had to ask for help for what seemed like every simple task. We had been there a hour and a half and received only one refill of water a piece, any service we had was done by everyone but the bartender that was serving us. She also consistently checked on the customers next to us but not us. read more

Service and food was great. Great amazing Ambiance. Decor very different and beautiful. Everything we ordered was delicious.

Great service! Best Vidorra in the DFW area. Ask for John as your server. He anticipated every request for our party of 5 with a 2 year old.

Great atmosphere, huge bar. Not a "run of the mill" Texas Mexican food place. Tacos and elotes were delish. Beware of ordering the queso, it's HUGE! Loved the Molcajete dishes. Bartenders were great. Definitely will be back! read more

It is literally impossible to make a reservation for Rockwall. If you call in they send a link to the website and on the website, you don't have the ability to make a reservation. I called and said don't send the link and I get transferred to "someone that can help." It rings and rings and leave a message with no contact back. So, I tried several times and nobody ever picks up. I decided to show up and was told a 3 1/2 hour wait. So, I tried again with the reservation part and back to the above loop. Before you think about your expansion in 2025, I would make the experience better to actually get customers to be able to go to your restaurant or another failed restaurant chain is in your future. read more

Incredible night at Vidorra Rockwall! The drinks were top notch, food excellent, service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was so fun! 10/10 recommend the Fried Avocado tacos! read more

Great food and excellent service ! A must go too! Their salsa and queso are so delicious!! read more

I am so disappointed. We are having a birthday party in 4 days 12/29 with about 16 guests. I called Vidorra Rockwall to ask how to get on a list for a party larger than 10. Yelp is the only way to get a reservation and that is the limit. I was told they would not be able to accommodate a party on more than 10. Wow. read more

Ambiance was good, beautiful place to have a nice meal! Highly recommend! Service is always great!

Smaller than it looks from the outside but the atmosphere is incredible and the food is delicious. My only wish is that it was closer to the harbor! read more

The food is good, but they seem very disorganized. I waited almost 20 minutes for a margarita and my server had little to no multitasking, time management skills. Management should get more involved with their floor guests. read more

Cierra was SUCH an amazing server. She was so knowledgable and tended to all of our needs. We really appreciated her service and will be coming back just for her. Also- guac is bomb and the carnitas and steak fajitas! Thanks guys! read more

Food amazing!!!! Service amazing !!!! Dominique the manager was outstanding !!!! Go check this place out it's wonderful !!!

If the flashy lights didn't catch your attention then perhaps this review will! The location of this restaurants is truly a prime location. Walking up the steps, I wasn't expecting to walk into a magical Mexican resort. The greenery and plants around were truly picture perfect! We got seated relatively quickly about 5 minutes. Which was already impressive seeing as the restaurant was packed on a Monday! The tables and chair were definitely intentionally picked and much appreciated for our party for comfort. If that wasn't enough thoughtfulness, they provide hooks at your table for your bags, coats and umbrellas. They thought of it all! On Mondays they have margaritas half off. I had the la dulce caliente and my oh my! It was tasty but quite spicy. If I had a suggestion I would recommend just doing a slice of frozen jalapeño into the margarita instead of jalapeño juice. We did receive complimentary chips and salsa, which is already a plus these days. However, the chips were sprinkled with chili-lime seasoning. Our party wasn't a huge fan of the chili lime seasoning on the tortillas chips. We went to enjoy the flavors of the salsa by themselves. Salt is all that is needed on the chips. Our table ordered Birria empanadas Birria tacos Carnitas tacos Mexican Alambre. Everything was delicious! The consommé for the Birria dipping was epic! If you've ever wanted pure deliciousness to grace your presences then do your self the favor and order the churro fries. They were the perfect size of thickness with amazing chocolate and caramel sauce for dipping. The true star of the evening was our server Gabriella! She was so kind and attentive to our table! The manager of the night was also a super star! We actually saw the manager helping staff and getting on her hands and knees to adjust tables and pick up items on the floor. Highly recommend this spot! read more

Our server Pablo was very friendly and attentive. Went above and beyond. I have allergies to many foods and he took extra effort to make sure that none of those ingredients were in any item I ordered. Enjoyed our dinner very much! read more

Attended the grand opening and although it was super busy our bartender Scarlet was very attentive with us the whole time , the restaurant itself looked well put together , tried the sampler and taco plate and overall give it a 9/10 Me and my family will be returning for sure ! read more

by far the best experience I had in a very long time. Joey was excellent and made me and friends the best cocktails. We will be coming back!

Was really impressed with vidorra. Great food service and an electric atmosphere. The chicken enchiladas were amazing.

Sunday , 27th. 3:00 pm. No wait, no crowd. Service was terrible, drinks were weak , food is bland. Had better tacos at Taco Bell. Tried to sell me rice and beans for about $9.50. read more

Had lunch with my wife for the first time at this restaurant, neat location and atmosphere and food was presented nice. Thats is as far as the good goes, our server Jennifer was no where to be found when we did not order a-lot product to rack the bill up. Our food was served and we ate for 15-20 minutes and our server did not even check on us, we had to ask other servicer to refill our drinks. This place was highly recommended to us, what a disappointment! Prices were same as a high end restaurant. I ordered a flauta lunch and it was 2 small flautas with 2 small servings of sides about 2 ounces each. My wife ordered a $15 margarita and it may have been in a 10 ounce cup. Very disappointing place. Sorry to complain about this place, I'm not one to go to the trouble of writing a review but service should have been better, they were not even that busy. Way to many restaurants around to recommend this place. Prices compare to Pappacitas, la Hacienda ranch, Lupe tortilla read more

The Ambiance and vibe is very inviting and uplifting giving off a great vibe. Food was plenty flavorful. Service was ok. Prices on the higher end for Tex-Mex but that is to be expected in the Rockwall Harbor area. Will be back. read more

Amazing drinks from Michelle, other bartenders are great as well really nice ambiance will come back!

Waited 30 minutes for some large chips and hot sauce. It wasn't until I had to waive to someone else in order to be able to get my chips and hot sauce. read more

but the ambience is like rainforest Café it's on a learning curve. Give them a little time. Hopefully they will come up to speed alcohol and the drinks are totally diluted even if when I asked for a shot, it was cloudy with orange slices., the receptionist told me to please post this anyway the ambience is great read more

My daughter and I dined in at the Rockwall location for lunch on Monday, our first visit to this location. The restaurant is near the harbor but has its own parking lot and is more up the hill which is nice given the challenges of finding a parking spot in that area normally. The decor is similar to their other locations, and fun! There are lots of opportunities for photos and plant like decor throughout. We were seated quickly in the main dining room. The queso blanco comes out almost boiling hot! No matter how many's times we've had it and despite their warning still always burn my tongue j the first few bites. But it's delicious and as long as you remember to blow on those early bites you'll find those enjoyable too! The chipotle shrimp tacos are well balanced with a light slaw - I just wish the flour tortillas were warmed or something because a raw tortilla just makes the dish a little less enjoyable. The cilantro rice is awesome!! My daughter loves the carnitas street tacos and at $3.75 a piece you really can't beat the price. The elotes were also delicious - lots of cream and queso, could've eaten a second bowl full!! Overall we had a great experience and look forward to visiting this location again - hopefully for brunch next time! read more

We've visited 3 times in as many weeks. It's consistently fantastic every time. Rockwall really needed a place like this with excellent food, drinks and service. Best Mexican spot in Rockwall. Great food great ambiance. Wish their margaritas weren't all so sweet. Shoutout to Summer for great service!

The service was horrible night 2/14/25 waited over 2:30 hrs the host still said the wait would continue for another 2hrs meaning being seated till 11pm-12am, which I join waiting list 6pm 2/14, I think it's ridicules.. there should a better system than that just for dinner,, there was people had already been waiting for 4 hrs it was 9:30 pm and still had not been seated.. the only reason why I give 3 stars was they did offer 1 free drink while in 2 half hours I was there .. read more

Very disappointed with the hostess staff. The girls working the early shift for opening through lunch were bit friendly. They were not realistic with time. We got there early and out our name and understood the time we would have to wait and instead got bumped with a 10 top before us even though we were there first. Then I was told well we would have to add 2 additional chairs for y'all. Very rude and we waited almost 2 hours. Do better. read more

Food was unique and different. Atmosphere is great, but can be a bit loud for conversation. Service was excellent.

Great atmosphere and food has been excellent every time. Make sure to get on the list ahead or have a reservation.

Waste of time, money, and health. The place looks nice but the food is terrible, a solid 5. The food smells weird, and the sauces they use taste like barbecue and watered avacado. You'll see when you get there read more

10/10 service and tasty food!!! Vidorra is and of my favorite brunch places I'm so happy to have one closer to me now. The decor and style is why I love the most. I always battle between patio or indoor seating. read more

The food was delicious! Service was good although we waited longer than we wanted to get our check and our server was nowhere to be seen after delivering food. I did not enjoy the very loud ambiance - I could not hear the other end of the table. I also do not like the furniture - while sturdy, it was difficult to pull the chairs out. They are way too heavy! I will probably not go back unless to try the patio seating. read more
