Beautiful and lively atmosphere, wonderful service and delicious food! We'll definitely be going back!

The atmosphere was beautiful. It feels like you're in a tropical resort Service was good. The food is just OK.

The food was great and AD was friendly and attentive! The taco plate is delicious and during the week they have a great lunch special.

Exceptional service and excellent food. Drinks are always good and the customer service is always in good taste. read more

My server this afternoon was Johnny. He was very professional and his customer service was outstanding. Johnny kept my tea full with plenty of limes. Our basket of chips was always full with plenty of both sauces. Also, my food was delicious!! read more

Fantastic night! Johnny was great, food was excellent, service was wonderful. Top restaurant in Rockwall.

The fish taco had a tiny fish in it, more like a fish stick. Had to call manager to return it and take off bill. The birria tacos were so oily and soggy. No cheese and meat was tasteless. The sauce was not good either. The drinks tasted like lemonade. We cancelled that too and preferred water. The appetizer queso fundido with chorizo- chorizo was awful. Cheese melted like plastic. Chips were the only thing great! Place looks great but food was not good. read more

Fabulous ambiance, unique flavors, great experience. We will definitely be back! Try the Molcajete bowls the queso was amazing! The Birria Empenadas also delicious! read more

This location was awesome. Our waiter and the staff were great, thanks Joe and Dom. Food was great!

Went for happy hour and it was amazing! We got the chicken flautas and elotes. Both were amazing and super flavorful. Our waitress Alex was the best. Very attentive and ended up getting moved to inside but still checked on us a lot to make sure we were ok since we were on the patio. Go and ask to be in Alex's section. I promise it won't disappoint!! read more

Fun new place in Rockwall! Food was great and service was excellent. We didn't really like the refried black beans but will try the borracho beans next time. Happened to go on margarita monday! Got some great deals on those! Tuesdays is taco Tuesday! You get 2 tacos and a shot of tequila for $8! The queso is NO JOKE HOT! Great atmosphere! read more

We went again for the second time in 2 weeks. Food was amazing again. The patio was perfect and Kimberly, the waitress, was spot on. Only negative thing I can say is, the guacamole portion was more of a kid size portion. Too small for the large price. read more

The food was good and the service was great!! AD, our server, was great! She made sure we were taken care of and very attentive!! Will be coming back for sure!! read more

Been twice with high hopes. Restaurants have three elements location/ambience service and of course food. Unfortunately the Vidorra location is not matched by the food or the service. Service has always been an issue for many restaurants in Rockwall but that can be overcome if the food is good enough. Sorry, for me at least nothing special here. read more

Michelle and isa gave out the best service and made it a great experience dinning in at viddora Will be back again to visit them read more

Stopped in for lunch today to check this place out. It was my first time, so I didn't know what to expect. I sat at the bar and was greeted by the warmest smile! Maria said that it was Taco Tuesday and told me all about the specials. I had amazing tacos and a margarita at her suggestion, and could not have been happier! read more

Great and friendly customer service, food and margaritas! The restaurant has a wonderful vacation and beach feeling!

Horrible loud hip hop music, ruined dinner ambience!! Please change the music!! We have been here twice and same horrible hip hop Mexican music. read more

This is a very nice restaurant with very good wait staff, however, the food was mediocre. Hopefully once the newness has worn off, it will improve. read more

Food and service was amazing atmosphere welcoming friendly drinks are strong but a little pricey over all great place 10/10 recommend !!

OH MY WORD!!! From the first moment you step into the atmosphere you will be hooked! Then, the complimentary chips and salsa... ummmmm UM! Delicious, which for me, if the chips and salsa are delicious then everything else will follow!!! And BOYYYY am I ever right!!! You will NOT regret a trip to Vidorra's!!! And, manager, Dominique Jasso, wants to hear from you! So do share your experience! read more

This place is fantastic! Worth the wait! Huge portions of delicious food! Friendly and efficient wait staff!

Great spot! We've been hearing great things about this place and finally made it in for lunch. We had a variety of tacos (all great) and their queso that comes in a piping hot bowl. And their chips are excellent, they have a bit of seasoning to them. And the service was simply incredible, our server was top notch. As was the manager (Mary), who checked on us multiple times. We can't wait to go back here for dinner and try some of their margaritas. Cheers! read more

Ima be honest I wasn't expecting much but dang I was really really disappointed. To begin with the server didn't check up on us once and she also had an attitude (MANAGERS as well). NO drink refills , NO chip refills . And to top it off the food was BELOW mid , very dry and unflavored . I guess the only good thing I had was the Dos X I had lol. First and last time going... read more

We had a terrible experience at Vidorra Rockwall shortly after it opened and I posted a negative review. Recently, the staff asked us to give it another try, so we did. They are now much better organized and the food, drinks, and service were excellent. read more

Food is delicious. Love the happy hour and the margaritas. Have been twice to this location and service has been great.

No reservations and their online waitlist sucks. Got here 20 minutes ago and checked in. Just received text confirmation of my checking and an estimated 30 min wait! Good food but not worth the wait!! Next!! read more

Absolutely love this location! I have been to all of them and Rockwall is beyond the best. Dominique, the Service Manager, and Jay, our amazing server, made us feel special and really tailored our experience. Top notch service, relatable experience, great drinks, amazing food. Thank you D, J and Vidorra Rockwall! read more

Mixed Bag As many others have mentioned, the ambiance is beautiful. Unlike others, I think the staff were friendly and funny and on top of our service. Not top notch, but pretty darn good. Drinks The drinks were good but too sweet. Most of the drinks on the menu contained triple sec. This is expected in a $8 cocktail you get at a bowling alley, but not in a $12-15 cocktail. At that price, I expect a house-made version of triple sec that does not contain corn syrup. Other local restaurants that serve cocktails in this price point use all natural ingredients, so they'll need to step it up to get health-conscious customers to return and shell-out $100+ for cocktails for a table of 4. It's just lazy and is a sign these people aren't serious. The food was a mixed bag too. Appetizers We got the sampler appetizer, which consisted of flautas, empanadas, quesadillas and guacamole. The only thing that tasted great were the empanadas and queso. Both of which were REALLY good. The quesadillas were kind of burned, had very little cheese with unflavorful tortillas. The flautas were very greasy, had very little chicken in them and the main flavor was oil, even over the sauce which had very little flavor. The guacamole was a teaspoon and had very little flavor. This appetizer was $22! Again, I don't mind paying that for good food, but this wasn't. Everything needed more salt, more flavor overall and some imagination. Main Dishes Our table got tacos and the smothered burrito. My husband was happy with his Birra tacos. The smothered burrito was a mess. The ratio of filling to tortilla was off - hardly any chicken. If you want to skimp on the chicken, that's fine, but make the tortilla smaller. The flavor was lacking. It tasted like nothing, even with a light spread of sauce (definitely not smothered). There was fajita onion & peppers inside the burrito which took up 1/3 of the burrito. I don't like crunchy veg, so I pulled them out. If I wanted fajitas, I'd get those. I didn't expect tons of crunchy fajita peppers in a shredded chicken burrito. It seems to our limited knowledge, the birra dishes are good, so stick with those. Skip the chicken dishes. We'll have to go back to try the seafood. We may go back to try again, but with Gloria's and Manny's in town serving up consistent great, flavor-packed high-dollar Mexican food, I don't think I'll be a regular here at Vidorra. They are charging too much for the quality of the food. read more

Great service from Jose H and Dominque the manager was super sweet. The food and drinks were spot on. It was exaclty what we needed for a family girls night out! Can't wait to come back. . Jackie A read more

Wow, this place is wonderful! The atmosphere is fun yet elegant. The staff, including management, have been amazing on each of our visits. The chips and salsas are delicious and the margaritas are spot on. The queso is divine, very different flavors and presentation from any other restaurant. The chicken crema dish is simply one of the best chicken dishes we have had in any type of restaurant. We are definitely going to regulars here! read more

Food portion was mediocre, ordered fajitas, got 6 bite size pieces. Had to wait a significant amount of time to be seated, although service was nice. Way too expensive for the portions, don't pay more for a fancy looking area, get some real Mexican food.. read more

Service wasn't good. Food and drinks were very sub par. Host was rude. Ambiance was nice.

Service and check in are terrible! Completely unorganized and slow. Dont bother with the wait-list. They will give your table away while you are waiting to check in. I literally heard the hostess say we are waiting on a table of 4, but we will give you the table instead and proceeded to sit a table of 3. We had been standing there politely waiting to check in. Then we were told we would have to continue to wait another 20 minutes. We had to leave. I don't think a 40 minute wait time and a table being given away is acceptable for people who try to do the right thing by joining the list ahead of time. read more

Food was amazing as well as staff and yess it's kid friendly super good drinks and great music it's nice an clean hope it stays that way

Food wasn't flavored. Very bland fajitas. Cheese enchiladas were awful, cheese wasn't melted. Service was slow

Delicious dinner & excellent service. Very nice atmosphere. We look forward to dining at Vidorra again soon!
