My daughter and I went through the drive thru around 11:30 am for breakfast and we got home to see our hashbrowns completely burned. We could not eat them at all. I wasn't even going to call but as I was about to throw the food away around 4:00 pm since it had just been sitting on the counter, I decided I had to call the diner as I didn't think it was right. A boy by the name of John wasn't even able to help me because there was no supervisor on duty until another two days and he literally told me that I shouldn't have waited so long to call, like this was all my fault.... excuse me. He even asked me to save the food or take pictures of it in order to show proof since I had to wait another two days to speak to a supervisor. The average price per person I would say is 14$ to get a decent meal . I would recommend pulling up late night Big selection on a variety of meals . The fries are a plus cause they give you a bunch which is great . Drive thru can get really packed so be prepared to wait . Has something changed here? I'm reducing my previous review from 4 stars to 3. I've been coming here regularly for several years and have never had any problems. Service was always great, food was always great, and they always got my order right. But my past two visits have been disappointing. A few weeks ago I got the chili burger. While the flavor was okay, it would have tasted much better if there had been more than a skimpy tablespoon worth of chili on the burger. Then today I ordered the daily burger special that comes with fries, onion rings, and a salad. The burger was fine, the fries and onion rings were old and overcooked, and the salad was completely missing. I've decided to take a break from Victory Diner for a while and will try again sometime next year. Hopefully they will get back on track by then. read more

I love going to diners for my local American food fix. The portions are large and the prices are great. They are open 24hrs. They always seem busy. Even at 4 am, the drive-thru is busy. The cashier is always very friendly. I've only had the burger, fries, and onion rings. The burger is always fresh and made to order. Our fries are always piping hot and crispy. They even survive a 10-minute drive, unlike other restaurant frize. I can't wait to try their breakfast options, served all day. And that was not funny. Let's grab either breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Victory Diner in Orange. Located on the northwest corner of Main St./W. Culver Ave., you will see the diner with a letter "V" with flying wings called Victory Diner. Victory Diner is not too far from Children's Hospital of Orange County. While I am not sure about the whole story about Victory Diner, but it seems that the owner has a fascination with military airplanes. When you walk in, there is a cool scale size of an airplane called, "Christine". Towards the back of the restaurant, there are tons of pictures of aircrafts. Not exactly sure if the owner is a former serviceman or just has a fascination with planes. I just wish there was more outside to attract some others to come in. Victory Diner is definitely interesting. Victory serves American and Mexican-type foods. They are open 24 Hours, but I am not sure if the diner is open. For Breakfast, you can have omelets, country fried steak, huevo rancheros, and even pancakes. Better yet, Victory Diner serves it "ALL DAY!" Most of the time, my wife and I come during lunch time and it's pretty packed inside. There are two flat panel screens for the big games .We were there during the NFL NFC Championship and all eyes were on the LA Team headed to the Superbowl. Its a good choice if you don't drink to stop by and grab a bite to eat while watching the game. My wife loves Victory's Diners Turkey Burgers and the Fish & Chips Plate. They are good with substitutions as my wife is not a big fan of French fries, but are willing to do a side salad in lieu. My favorite, which, I didn't expect them to have are their Cobb and Chef Salads. Sorry, I do not have a price. However, I do know its less than $20 for both of us which never bugged me. They have fountain drinks, shakes, and coffee. The wait on a Sunday is usually about 15-20 minutes after placing an order at the counter. It's not bad on a busy Sunday afternoon. Food is delivered to your table and beyond expectations from a low profile diner. My phone captured the brightness of my Cobb Salad, especially the slices of avocado. How good was my salad?! Well, I finished it. The Cobb Salad had slices of turkey, bacon, cheese, lettuce, corn, and tons of cheese with two servings of ranch. You can choose what salad dressing you want. My wife loves her plate as well when you have a diner that can accommodate changes to your meal and you can have salad with a dangerous main entrée. Overall, Victory Diner is a safe spot to choose from if you need something good and fast to eat. While I read other negative reviews about the Drive-In, I have not seen anything unusual inside. The staff are helpful and friendly as every visit we come to. Yes, we may change our orders quite a bit, but they laugh and know the needs of their customers. I like that they serve breakfast 24 hours a day. Plus, the breakfast items are everyone's favorites from Bacon and Eggs, or Sausage and Eggs, pancakes and French toast. My husband and I came here to grab a quick bite and to bring some food back. - DUI fries: it's basically chili cheese fries with carne Asada and pastrami. Ok from the photo, it looked amazing. The combination is any foodie's dream but I wish they put more chili and cheese. The amount of carne and pastrami however was perfect!! The fries were crispy and hot. The carne was a bit dry tho. - Hot dog: yes it seems weird to order hot dog here but hey when you have a craving right?! It's a jumbo sausage with mustard and relish. We had to add ketchup. It wasn't great but I don't think we had much hope for a hot dog from here. - Carne Asada buritto: I didn't personally have this but my friend said it was good but nothing to be excited over. Not authentic, had everything you expect in a burrito, and came with a side of salsa. The service was good because she was really informative and helpful. The place was clean and big. They had two tvs on the wall, and a open soda foundation machine. This place reminds me of the hat or lucky boys of Pasadena. I keep returning to Victory Diner so I'm writing a review. This 24-hour "order at the counter, take a number and sit down" diner specializes in good prices, and helpful staff. Their best deal for a big breakfast eater like me is a chicken-fried steak breakfast with biscuits and gravy for less than $10. For a normal breakfast eater, they have an "every day special" featuring two huge pancakes, three eggs and four pieces of bacon for only $6. You can't beat that price. I've tried the omelets too. My only criticism is that they are overcooked. Seems they cook the eggs in the omelet pan until brown, then flip it, cook until brown, then fill it, fold it and serve it. I would use a different technique to minimize the browning which dries out the eggs. The portion sizes and prices are great and I can't wait to come back and try some lunch items. read more

We visited for the first time on Wed. morning for indoor dining and WOW were we impressed with the food and customer service. We both ordered breakfast and loved every bit of our meal. This morning I ordered the healthy breakfast. The menu states that it comes with chicken breast, egg whites, fruit and cottage cheese. Sounded good. It's breakfast time and this woman is hungry! HOWEVER Who puts egg whites and and cottage cheese together in the same box with chicken on the top? Its pretty horrible. The fruit, is one half of a canned peach. That's it. Toast was a dark brown toasty color. Too burnt for my taste. I don't know if eating warm cottage cheese is good idea or not. I mean getting sick on Friday from food poisoning...wooohoo! read more

4 stars for the customer service 5 stars though for the food and price. I was stuck in the drive thru for over 30 minutes for zucchini fries and a burger. The young woman at the window was probably over it and more than likely got complaints from the other 3 cars ahead of me. So she wasn't rude but you could tell she was just over it and didn't want to small talk. I hate to nit pick but a thank you for being patient would have been nice and made it all better but I understand. So the food though all so good. After seeing this place full I decided to give it a try , I was immediately grossed out to see the ice machine with visible mold , I had already filled my cups and had poured coke into one cup and took a sip . Instant regret once I did , I tried privately tell a worker and she proceeded to " clean " it which meant just grabbed a rag and wiped it down , my stomach began to hurt and by the time I got my food I was just ready to go home and use the rr . 33$ of money down the drain because by time my stomach felt better my burger was soggy which mind you I went around 12 pm , i felt better until 6 pm ish I spent my Friday afternoon with the runs . Please make sure ur staff is keeping up to date with their cleaning schedule and not just a wipe down I'm talking about ( deep clean and sanitize it ) .
