And it looks like any other Victoria's Secret you'd find anywhere else; hence, that's what's to be expected of a chain. But I needed some new undies, so here I was. I've been wearing VS undies since forever, so they're always solid. Although the price has increased, it's still a deal at getting five panties of your choosing for $30. You can swap between VS and Pink, as they come in various styles, patterns and colors. The selection is not all that large, with some fancy lingerie to athleisure wear in the Pink section. I think most normal human beings have a love, hate relationship with this store. Let's face it, buy bras and panties is a royal pain in the behind. Having said that, I happen to like this store, when it's not busy. That means I only come here on Mon - Thu. Fri through Sun is a complete no, no. This is especially true now that it's limited entrance, limited headcount, all the sides roped off. It's quite dramatic. But the good thing is that once I'm inside, I feel free as a bird, which is a rare occurrence at this store. The dressing room is closed now also. They offer to do a "visual" size check. Whatever that means, I didn't do it. LOL Sizing of some products can be pretty inconsistent, especially panties. The size S of one panty can be dramatically smaller than another design. I showed it to my hubby and he was shocked - guys and their easy to buy 3 packs and 6 packs of underwear. Sigh. I wish pajama bottoms come in different lengths, especially at the store. They don't. I'm a shorty, and I'm cursed to never buy them. The staff can be overly friendly offering help. Honestly, they never bothered me. It was never aggressive. They just really, really want to help. Truth be told, I came with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised due to two reasons...the first reason is the amazing service from Lily. She was helpful, friendly, and professional. All the associates were...Lily just stood out. The second reason was the fact that I especially appreciate the response the store took with regards to Covid 19. Store hours have been adjusted to 7pm because of COVID and that is not an issue. This bad review comes because I drove 35 minutes to exchange an item. I was in the store 20 minutes before close. The item I was exchanging was no longer available so I headed towards the register. A lady stopped me and asked me how I got in. I replied with a comment about how they were open until 7 and how I just needed to do my return. She refused to let me do the return and escorted me out at 6:45. They were reasonable and she went over them kindly and professionally with the employee. It's possible she was doing it over their private radio but I was in the fitting room so I couldn't see. In any case, everyone was super helpful and then let me go through the sections on my own once they gave me their suggestions. This new store is huge and gives you space to look at things from afar before deciding if you really want/need them. Super cute store. I took a photo of it to get inspiration for my room. But I usually don't like to go in and try on bras, so I order a bunch online and then return the ones that didn't fit right. They have a PINK store connected to it which I consider PINK to be more of a cutesy tween brand that don't make any size above a C cup since their body are still developing and Victoria's Secret to be more of a sexy let me surprise zaddy tonight with my new lace lingerie type of brand. I live in a relatively small city, and while our little mall does contain a Victoria's Secret it does not have the widest selection of colors. Usually by the time I get there I can only find the "old lady" standby's - panties and bras in black and (ewwww) tan. Now, maybe this is acceptable to women who like to wear boring underwear, but I prefer to keep it spicy in the undergarment department so I like to wait until I'm in the "big city" to visit VS. Thus, on a recent visit to that mega-mall of amazingness, Bellevue Square, I made sure to take the time to pop into their ginormous Victoria's Secret store, where I was greeted and helped by a super friendly employee (whose name also happened to be the same as mine!) who not only assisted me in finding some cute new colors of underthings but also pointed me to a secret online coupon that saved me quite a bit on my purchase. Its been awhile since I have purchased anything from Victoria's Secret. I decided to pay the place a visit since they now sell cute workout apparel. This Victoria Secret location seems to have been renovated not too long ago and it does give it more of an appealing look than their old pink everything color scheme. I have to echo what other reviewers have mentioned regarding the service. It is lacking at this store. No offers for help, no staff in the dressing room, etc. I did ask a sales associate to open a room for me after waiting for 5 min. She looked irritated and accused me of trying to get in a room before a lady that was in line, who only confirmed that I was waiting longer than she was. Not sure what sales associate would say something like that, but whatever. I ended up not buying anything in the end due to the weird vibe of the store. The associate was very helpful and asked you if you need any help in the fitting room. While I was waiting to check out, I saw two associates try to compete who is the best seller. When it's my turn, the staff got distracted by his brand new iPhone watch because he accidentally bump it to the cashier drawer. He seemed to be very upset so asked his coworker who was standing next to him where to buy the screen protector. In the middle of the transaction, I had to go exchanging items. After I came back to the cashier, he asked his coworker to help me finish the transaction but she refused. She didn't want to do it when he had done the halfway. Today I went into the store and was rudely, and very aggressively asked what I was doing there and what bra I was coming to buy. It was unbelievable. I worked for corporate and was ashamed and mortified by what I experienced. I had to hide from the constant questions. Entirely unacceptable and very aggressive. I love buying from this place but honestly, the staff is so unprofessional. It's lingerie, I don't want everyone seeing what I just bought. And that's exactly what happened. Usually, they put tissue on the bag to hide what's inside, but the lady who checked me out didn't. I had the bag and I set it down in front of some friends, not realizing she didn't use tissue, and they saw everything. It's a little thing but she was so rude to me and was acting like she really just wanted me out of the store. I'm so mortified and upset. The last time I stopped in this store was around 4 years ago, and it was all bad. My oh my, how things change in 4 years. I came in just to shop the Semi-Annual sale for panties and yoga pants. I've never actually owned a Victoria's Secret bra because whenever I've been sized at a store they've always been way off on sizes and then try to upsell me to the most expensive ones, so I just gave up on bra shopping here. The girls on the sales floor were very pushy - got asked by 4 different ones if I needed a bag, and had one employee take things out of my hand to try to put in a bag. They also follow you around asking you constantly if you need help. If I need help, I'll ask, thank you. I ended up wanting to try a few pants and tops on. When I got back to the fitting room I was greeted by Jenny. She asked if I wanted to be sized, and at first I was hesitant due to past experiences, but was like eh whatever I'm here why not. She ended up spending probably 15-30 minutes helping size me for a bra, and helping me find bras that actually fit and look flattering for me. She also was kind enough to write out which bras and sizes I loved the most so that I could keep it and easily be able to come in and find the exact style and size that I needed. She provided excellent customer service, and was one of the kindest employees I have ever encountered at a Victoria's Secret store. She was not pushy for sales either, she made me feel like she genuinely wanted to help me find the perfect one. I wasn't the only customer she was helping either - every room was full - and she did a wonderful job of managing each customer and providing quick and quality service. I called about a week after my visit to speak to the manager and let them know of how good my experience was here as well, so hopefully the message was passed along to her. read more

I shopped at a VS in Bellevue WA (Bellevue Square) last Sunday. At first I was not sure of my actual size since I recently lost a lot of weight. A nice lady offered to take me to the back and have me tri different sizes and styles. Once I found what worked for me, she called an other lady and this person took me to the items. Because I was purchasing 4 of your new bras (on special for $25 ea) I would receive 4 free panties. At first I didn't know so the girl pointed that out and showed me which ones to choose from. Yesterday morning while going through my receipt I noticed I was charged for all 4 panties so I called the store. The girl on the phone apologized and told me to bring back the receipt and they would correct it. Last night, I went back to the store and the girl at the register did not seem to understand the situation. It was simple, I was charged for items you guys "promote as free" if your purchase the new bras. Well she proceeded to tell me there was nothing she could do because I should have brought the items back with me and she cant help me. I mentioned I was not directed to do so, her reply was "well, who did you talk to, (while rolling her eyes at me), I can call my managers, but I am pretty sure that you needed to bring back the items and we cant help you". As she continued to insist that I should have brought the items back because they needed to be scanned, out of frustration I told her " I am wearing some of it so, unless you want me to take them off right here the, I think you should call your manager" She called the manager, at this point I am very irritated by her attitude. They refunded me 3/4 because they said one of the ones I picked were not a body by V, I honestly didn't want to go trough the whole explanation again. (the worker there pointed me out to them), so why am I paying for their mistakes!. I could not help myself and I mentioned in front of the manager the girl rolling her eyes at me, manager apologized. The manager ( a nice Asian lady) also said I did not need the items, all the needed was the receipt. Well this rude cashier lacks some training. I have a cute underwear addiction and Victoria's Secret is mostly to blame. Back when I decided to stop dressing like a skater boy and start dressing like a young woman I started shopping at VS and that was the beginning of the end. How much $$ I have spent with this company is sick. I'm pretty sure I deserve a Lifetime Achievement Award. But it's worth it it you like cute undies and always have to have matching bras and bottoms. Overall I prefer shopping online, but there are some benefits to actually trying on new items in the store. I've been to VS boutiques in many states and the Bellevue Square location is one of the bigger and nicer stores so I am reviewing that one in particular. The smaller stores (like the ones downtown and in U Village) have a smaller selection so you have better chances at a bigger store. The Bellevue store took over the adjacent space when they remodeled so there is a big PINK section up front, an area solely devoted to their body/beauty products, a wider selection of lingerie (as opposed to underwear), more dressing rooms, and a corner for the Italian Intimissimi sub-brand. Service can really vary. Totally depends on the employee and how busy they are. One thing you can count on is the staff being familiar with the products so you can usually get an honest and informed opinion. I HATE shopping the sales. It gets disorganized and hard to find any help. You can easily shop the sales online so I'd rather do that than dig through bins of panties even if the panties are marked down. Speaking of online, here are things I prefer: First off, more sizes!!! Until recently VS didn't even make bras for people with small rib cages and not so small boobies, so I actually stopped shopping there for a couple years. Then I think they realized they were missing out on a big chunk of the population so they made more sizes. YAY!! Except I can only find my size in-store in a couple different styles. But I can find my size in about 90% of the styles online. Second reason is clothes. I know it sounds crazy but I shop for clothes from Victoria's Secret. Last year I got a SUPER CUTE wool winter coat on sale and got tons of compliments on it. I also like their casual wear and sweaters. Some of the cotton stuff isn't very colorfast though so I've had some unfortunate laundry incidents. I'd like to try their jeans and business wear someday. VS online/catalogue also carries shoes, cosmetics and handbags; not just from their own line but other vendors too! Third: customer service and return policy. If you call to place an order they can give you availability, fabric and style info and answer lots of random questions. I've gotten better service on the phone than in-store. For returns they give you a prepaid mailing label (about $6 is deducted from your refund) and you can even reseal and reuse the shipping bag. Just drop it off at a UPS store and be done with it. You can do returns and exchanges to your heart's content. And if an item washes or wears poorly or you hate it after wearing it you can return it! Returning items in-store is easy too and they don't give you a hard time. Just note: catalogue/online orders CANNOT be returned in-store and vice versa. For some reason, they don't come from the same inventory and don't have the same barcodes. In fact if you get a bra in-store and order another of the same style online, you may find they have slightly different fabric and construction. I don't see the reason for this and it's one of my few complaints with the company. I probably only step foot in a VS store once or twice a year since I place most of my orders online. So where do I like to shop for fancy undies? Nordstrom. Great service with really professional and knowledgeable salespeople. Lots of brands and styles to choose from and when VS failed to carry my size, Nords had it the whole time. You can get really REALLY expensive bras at Nords, but I tend to go for the lines like Calvin Klein that are priced about the same as Victoria's Secret (approx $38 for a bra and $12 for bottoms). Nordstrom carries a couple house brands that aren't half bad, FYI. When you go to a mall on a Saturday, you are asking for trouble. Yesterday was no exception, as the store was quite packed with girls trying to find the perfect little lacy negligee or cute new panties. I, on the other hand, was a on a practical mission (I'm sure you can guess what for), and was immediately assisted upon entering. The girl measured me, gave me a pink card with my size and what I was looking for, and sent me to the fitting rooms. As the fitting rooms were a bit busy, I did have to wait for a minute or two, but no biggie. I was quickly ushered back and explained what I wanted and handed the girl my little card. She brought me several options, and helped me choose which would be best suited for my needs. I happily left with my new purchase as well as a free panty (I had a coupon). I've been in this store, over the past 5 years, maybe 50 times. I even had an Angel card for a while. So I feel I can speak confidently about this shop. Yes, the clothing is cute and, I think, well made (at least, it holds up with repeated washings over the course of a year). Yes, the store is huge and well laid-out, clearly divided into various departments (Pink, yoga, basic "unmentionables" LOL, etc.). The dressing rooms are nice and I like how there are call buttons inside for assistance. In fact, my daughters and I like how the staff are trained to help in measuring and choosing the correct bra styles, cuts and sizes for you. That truly saves a lot of time and money, in my books, and is worth the extra few bucks per item. What I don't like: service is spotty. Sometimes it's hard to find someone to help you. Sometimes you find sales clerks with attitude, who clearly don't want to be there. And sometimes you find super nice sales clerks who are happy to help. You just never know. My biggest gripe, though, is the conflicting info I have gotten about store policy from various sales clerks and various VS stores. The lack of consistency has dissuaded me from shopping here much over the past year. Case in point: my daughter wants a particular pair of VS yoga pants for XMAS. She found them online. We went to the Redmond Town Center VS and asked about the pants, as they weren't carried in the store. The sales clerk there said we could order them to the store and thus not be charged a shipping fee. Since they were kinda pricey, I thanked her and said I'd think about it. The next day, we ended up at Bell Square, and I popped in to this VS store, saying, hey, it's the holidays, my kid wants these pants, let's order them! The gal there said they'd have to charge me shipping and handling, even if they ordered them to the store. What? The gal explained they only bypass S&H charges IF the item is something usually stocked in the store, and these particular yoga pants aren't usually sold in the store. Hmmm, well, either the Redmond store is wrong about this policy or this Bell Square store is wrong, but someone's wrong and I don't have time to research it further. I lost my keys and called them to ask if they could please check their dressing rooms to see if my keys were there.. And they said no nothing was found. I purchase the majority of my undergarments at Victoria Secret, they have a range of sizes that works well for me. I enjoy the benefits of being a card member and receive many coupons and incentives with my membership. I enjoy the service that I receive in the store, although at times, it can be a bit overzealous. Although the store is generally large and well organized compared to other VS stores, at the time of this review, the store is under renovation and will be the largest store in this region. I have been a VS customer for at least 10 years. I recently popped in to this store to re-stock my yoga pant supply, and was APPALLED to find that there were no sizes larger than a 'small' in the store. My husband urged me to ask a member of staff, but I should not be forced into such an embarrassing situation. I then went home, prepared to order my yoga pants online. My complaints are not about the quality of Victoria's Secret's products. I've used their products for years, and will continue to use them, despite my experience at the Bellevue Square location. I understand that many businesses hire temporary help over the holiday season. I can also understand that seasonal employees may not completely know how to problem solve every situation he or she may encounter. What is unacceptable is a lack of professionalism and customer service sales representatives and their supervisor. I came in to make a return, of which was originally paid for in cash. The representative then told me that she could not accept the return. This should have been my first clue that I was dealing with inadequacy. A sales representative that couldn't even recognize and comprehend the word "CASH" on the receipt. I then asked to speak with her supervisor, Maddie. Maddie was made aware of this, but took far longer than needed to resolve the situation. She continued making transactions at another terminal, knowing that she was clearly needed to attend our situation. When she finally came, she did not even acknowledge the situation or apologize for taking so long. No eye contact was even made. I'm not telling you to avoid Victoria's Secret. In fact, shop here if you want to look great without your clothes on. But just don't anticipate a great buying experience until AFTER you're home, and away from the idiots who work here. read more
