I've been to this store (near the Kirkland Costco) a number of times, and service has generally been good. Things change over time, so I'm rating it mostly on the most recent visit. I had a few items on my mind when I visited. One idea was sexy male apparel for myself, but I didn't specifically know what I wanted. A cheerful woman offered to help, with excellent timing, giving me a little time to look around, then offering help when it was clear that I wasn't just popping in for something specific. She said that selection was thin -- one item -- but that the flagship store had a wide selection. Thumbs down for inventory, thumbs up for Customer service. I asked about a particular type of toy, and she took me to look at what she thought I meant, then excused herself to help other customers. It wasn't what I had in mind, but that's because my description wasn't clear enough. Looking at those items helped me figure out what I actually meant. When she was done helping the other customers, I clarified, and she showed me what I was looking for. The prices were reasonable for good quality toys, but more than I wanted to spend without asking my wife which she would prefer. I asked about another accessory, and she helped again. There was a broader range of prices there: premium price for silicone, lower price for another substance. At that point, I needed to take notes, or better, photos. Given the type of store, I asked permission. She said that normally photos were not allowed, but as long as employees and other customers were not in the pictures (and the other customers had left by that point) it was OK. With pictures taken for discussion at home, I browsed a little. They have a great selection of condom singles, $1 each. They have Liberator "sex furniture" cushions, which are excellent. They have Fun Factory toys, which my wife says are the best, a Lovers house brand, and others. Selection of women's sexy apparel is abundant. And hardcopy porn is long gone; young people will probably never know that it ever existed. Customer service is critical in this sort of store; by it's nature, nothing is returnable, so one must be able to count on employee expertise. And it's excellent here. Four stars: "Yay! it's crazy how the employees are SO nice to you when you're wanting to buy something, but then they do a complete 180 when you try to return it. i understand not being able to return something that's already been used, but it's doesn't make sense if it has been unused and still has the original packaging and everything. not only does it really suck that i spent like $100 on this stuff, but also the employee did not care at ALL. she said "nope! we don't accept returns!" twice with a happy tone. she did not care at all that i just wasted a BUNCH of money. she didn't say, "unfortunately we can't" or something, she went, "nope! :D" it all left a really bad taste in my mouth, and it's not like i can sell this stuff in public or give it to a friend or something, so i just literally wasted so much money with nobody caring at all. ugh, i really don't want to have to return here ever again read more

Came by after not visiting for at least two years. I was greeted and assisted by fantastic, knowledgeable and professional customer service people, Beth and Elleigh. I really liked them. it was obvious that they liked their job and were very good at it. Supply of nightgowns and lingerie was fantastic. I especially appreciated that since I had been there last the store had evolved from clothing that was 50% costume and 50% lingerie, to much less costume and way more classy in quality of fabric and flattering cut. I also appreciate how shoppable the store is. Merchandise is well-displayed and I don't feel at all overwhelmed when looking for something. I thought the prices on clothing were great but that some of the accessories could definitely be bought less expensively on Amazon. Still, I can't even dock a star for this since when you need something or you are with your significant other and in a crazy mood, this stuff is available near our house. I feel so lucky this store is still open! I know that other stores have had a hard time hiring. I visited this store a while back and neglected to write of my experience here. I must correct this oversight! Accessing the parking lot is odd, off of NE 85th Street, as you have to make a sharp right, up a fairly steep incline (and backing up as you leave is even dicier, especially if there are cars parked in the lot behind you. It's hard to describe, but if you've been here in this lot, you'd understand). That said, it's totally worth it to navigate this wacky lot. This store is really cool! Despite feeling like a total fish out of water here, I checked out the whole place. It's large, clean and very welcoming (i.e., not intimidating). I didn't recognize what 75% of the merchandise was (how embarrassing but true. Adult toys sure have come a long way in the past decade or two!), but the gal behind the counter was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to and accessible for any questions about...well, anything. It was as if we were talking about tires for your car or Christmas lights for your holiday decorations. Just matter-of-fact, no embarrassment whatsoever. And really, now, why should there be? Half the store is devoted to lingerie, and the other half to toys and accessories and even shaving creams and massage oils. My hubby & I have been shopping here for more than 5 years now. Two words; clean and professional. Going to establishments such as Lovers it can be awkward. The employees here are professional, tend to approach you pretty quickly, make sure you are doing ok, provide help or education if necessary and know when to leave you be. The two ladies working this last Sunday afternoon are fabulous, some peoples energy is friendlier/more welcoming than others & these two ladies are awesome. I've had great experiences with them a few times now. I've never had a bad experience here and thankfully I think they try to employee pretty good people, which is important if they want to keep attracting all types of people. Products: they carry a variety of nice stuff. I've only had one awful experience with a product from here; Manufactured by: California Exotics- it was awful because we couldn't get the product to work. We went to lovers 3 or 4 times, in the same evening, exchanging for a new one each time. We'd watch the employee plug the product in to make sure it would charge and we'd get home and it wouldn't charge. On the 3rd or 4th time we went with a LELO product, which we've used and been happy with LELO previously and are happy with our newer product as well. For us now when we are in doubt, we'll go with LELO. Lingerie: this is somewhat hit or miss for me here. I'm not docking a star for it cause if I can usually find something I like. I have a large bust, but not necessarily a large body. Most things that fit my cup size are too big around to actually be tight to my chest. Sometimes I'm a medium, sometimes a large, and sometimes whatever it is just doesn't work out. Over all sizes are s/m/l or one size fits all (which I love the coquettes and baby doll style stuff in general). I'd say definitely try stuff on first! They do have clean fitting rooms. That ended tonight as I will never step foot in this establishment again. The guy that works there has some kind of chip on his shoulder and clearly hates his job seeing as acting extremly annoyed if I asked for any kind of assistance or had a question reguarding a product or pricing etc. I tolerated his best I could through the years and learned not to asks him for anything knowing his terrible annoyed attitude would ruin my shopping experience. I've never wrote a review before good or bad so I'm not a karen but felt obligated to say if you go to this store it will not be a pleasant, helpful, or reasonably priced endeavor. I have got to say that this is the easiest sex shop to walk into ever.
