I myself came for nothing, was there just for moral support. but I found a few things I liked and based on that they curated an entire fitting room full of clothing I loved. I left with a like 20lb bag of clothes. the associated don't work on commission and they were very honest when a size was wrong or a style and found something better for you. it was an incredible experience. I will be back.

The store is a decent size, compared to other locations, with a lot of stock and sizes. Many popular styles can run out at other locations, but the items at Bell Square mostly seem to be available. For the most part, items are organized and store is clean...unless it's during the holiday craze where everyone seems to be shopping here! Regardless, this location is one to check out if you're a Madewell fan. Plus, the customer service is top-notch. Employees are very friendly and there's always someone who is ready to help you get a fitting room, take your items and find different sizes of the items you've tried on. White House Black Market on the other hand, had almost an overabundance of options that fit me. One time I came with my mom looking for clothes I could wear to conferences and other nicer work occasions and left with about three and a half full outfits, which was my most successful single-stop experience of that sort for that purpose up to that point in time (and still stands to today). Clothing items were pristine in quality and varied in offering even with a smaller floorspace. The workers were friendly and ready to help find items that might work that retained a similar style if a particular item did not work when trying it on. Prices have been excellent for the quality of garments I have gotten from here.

The store is never sent petite clothes likely due to the size of the store BUT Brandy has helped me find petites online as well as standard sizing that still fits me and looks amazing. I recently picked out a dress but told Brandy I didn't think it would fit because it wasn't petite. Anyone with a larger cup size knows that most stores don't stock those sizes outside of online. It's also the easiest way to try on bras without needing to buy and return. The fitters know their stuff. The most recent visit, the fitter was able to correctly guess my size without a measuring tape. The bras here are not necessarily cheap or at least not the ones I've bought. Bras in this cup range tend to be in that $50-100 price range. A lot of them are European brands. They do carry brands like wacol or natori which you can potentially find cheaper at Nordstrom. I come here because I know those brands don't work for me.

Both times I've gone in, I was helped by, I believe, Hailey, and she made me feel so welcomed and comfortable right away. What amazed me the most is how quickly she could figure out my correct bra size. She'll take a look at your back, see you in the bra you came in wearing, and then bring you an option she thinks will work. The first time she did that, I was shocked. How would she act know my size without even using a measuring tape? It was like magic. She came back with two bras to try on, and my mind was blown after the first bra she brought fit me like it was made for me!!! I can't explain the feeling you have once you wear a bra that actually fits you. Like you thought you were a bra that fit you until that moment. You're like, "Whoa! This is what it feels like. " It's crazy and out of this world to explain. It's honestly impressive how experienced and skilled they are. They also do such a great job making you feel confident and supported throughout the whole process. It never feels awkward or uncomfortable, which I really appreciated. Another thing I didn't realize before going is that they sell more than just bras. They also have underwear and a really great selection of bathing suits in different styles and colors for all kinds of preferences and body types. I highly recommend making an appointment if you can, because it can get busy, and you might have to wait a bit otherwise. That said, even without an appointment, the wait sometimes isn't very long. I've told my mom and several friends about this place, and every single one of them has come back telling me how impressed they were with the customer service and the overall experience. Yes, the bras can be a little more expensive than what you might find at a typical retail store, but the quality and materials are excellent, and they last a long time. For something you wear every day, it's absolutely worth it.
