Since our group wasn't the type that would want strippers or anything like that AND our group of gals rarely (if ever) treat ourselves to nice lingerie... I wanted to find a classy lingerie shop that would host our group (5 ladies) for a private after store hours shopping session for 1-2 hours. After visiting the website, I saw they didn't offer anything like that (one other local shop did but couldn't accommodate us) so I sent her an email inquiring. To my surprise (and delight) Shadia replied VERY quickly and came to my rescue saying that she could accommodate. All the gals were dressed for a lovely dinner and our Uber pulled up to the shop. My sister started laughing and got super shy... she wasn't expecting a lingerie shopping sessions at all. I don't think she was into the idea at first BUT with all the gals' enthusiasm, Shadia being very inviting, sweet and helpful, this activity ended up being one of my sister's favorite out of the entire day. My sister was VERY grateful that Shadia opened her shop after hours and now she has a new awesome bathing suit for her destination wedding, a super cute romper for the wedding night ;) and some seamless undies to wear under her wedding!!! SUCCESS!!! All of the gals were able to try on garments. I guess my only criticism or negative is that larger breast gals / more full figured ladies will have trouble finding items that will fit. My size 6 sister had plenty of garments to try on; which was perfect! I'm 36DD so I was limited BUT I still walked away with a beautiful teddy/nighty that I'm really happy with! I love it! More about the private shopping (Shadia, you should totally offer this on your website and I would recommend taking a deposit from the person booking. The deposit (I suggest between $300-500) could go towards merchandise they plan on purchasing during the shopping session. I would do this especially if you provide snacks and bubbles. I know we brought our own sparkling wine but if you provide for folks then I'd hate for you to spend too much out-of-pocket).... anyways, Shadia offered snacks and wine when we connected on email. I told her we'd bring the wine and snacks were welcome if she wanted to provide. She had a lovely assortment of cheese/crackers/chocolate... it was so thoughtful and sweet for you to offer and provide. This is for the online experience…read more TERRIBLE RETURN POLICY. Will never shop here again. I purchased swim bottoms, swim top, and a rash guard from Carve here and spent a lot of money as the brand is expensive. They charge a lot for shipping and it wasn't even shipped that quickly. Once the items arrived, I realized I needed bigger swim bottoms (even though I followed their size chart and Carve usually has consistent sizing). When I went to exchange the swim bottoms for a bigger size I was SHOCKED to see that I would have to pay to ship the bottoms back and then pay 9.00 (yes you read that right, to get an item that weighs 6 ounches) for shipping to get the new pair. They don't do exchanges, you have to pay to send the item back and then re-order the new size. To top it all off, you don't even get your money back. You get a "credit". So you can pay ridiculous shipping amounts in the future. They received their item several days ago yet I have not received an email saying so, and who knows when I will get my "credit". I will never shop this company again. Most places that sell high end clothes do free returns or exchanges and you get your money back in the form you paid. How this place is in business when there are so many other options is beyond me.

Heidi also makes a lovely, sexy, and fun line of swimwear for breast cancer survivors who have had a mastectomy. These suits have prosthesis pockets and higher cuts around the arm area. The line is called Anne Fanny and you can see the line and story behind it at her website. Heidi Fish is truly one of West Seattle's best kept secrets but Seattle would be a more beautiful place if more girls would rock her suits. However, Heidi cut a gash in our curtains, and didn't mention it when I picked them up. When I got them back home and hung them back up in front of the door, it was immediately obvious because they hang in front of a sliding glass door that faces the afternoon sun. These blackout curtains allow NO light through, so it's INSTANTLY obvious. I called Heidi and asked if she would fix it, naturally. She said it was like that when we gave the curtains to her, and said she was going to call us about it before starting the work but didn't. She offered no explanation as to why. She refused to do anything to fix her obvious damage to our new curtains, which we had hung up for 4 days before giving them to her. If there had been a gash before she got them, we'd have seen it readily, just as it was instantly apparent when I got them hung up today. Shame on this lying, classless woman who took my cash to avoid paying taxes, and then damaged my curtains and couldn't even own up to it. SHAME on Heidi Fish! They also had these adorable wine charms which I love and still have. They were so kind! I was blown away by the pastel and beach vibes! I purchased the most fluffy jacket!
